^Sis balitaan mo kami if open na ang castle when you visit. We?re planning to visit HK again by Aug 2020 pa naman. Galing kami dun last year and nakaka-sad kasi walang fireworks and under construction pa ang castle.

Last dec we went to HK disneyland and stayed at Silka Hotel at Castle Peak Road in Tsuen Wan..for 2days yun.  Natuwa lang ako sa breakfast buffet at spacious family room at may extra bedding pa. Kasya ang 6pax. Pero syempre mahal. More than 1000hkd per night.

just got back from our trip to HK and Macau. For HK destinations, nag-book na lang ako sa Klook (The Peak, Disneyland and Ocean Park. etc)  :D

While kumuha ako ng Macau tour. Hassle free yung Macau though hindi lahat napuntahan. Kumuha lang ako sa klook for Macau Tower around 3hrs before we arrive sa tower.  ;) Naligaw kami sa Venetian almost didn't make it on time sa meeting place.  :o

Meanwhile, convenient ang 4G wifi for HK and Macau. We've used it anywhere we go.  8) Actually mas ok pa siya gamitin kaysa sa sim card. :o

Octopus card - We traveled by A21 bus from airport to GC guesthouse. HK$33 one way. :D hehe

The Peak - we've enjoyed the view from 5pm to 7pm. :D

Disneyland - we watched almost all the shows especially the Lion King's Festival. Ok yung map plan namin from opening to closing. :o

Ocean Park - I love the panda! We rode in ocean express and cable car.  :-*

Before we depart nakasaglit kami sa Immaculate Concepcion Church sa Caine Road.  8)

In all, pwede sa young adult ang HK and Macau but for the seniors, not sure lalo na yung mga oldies na hirap umakyat sa mga stairs at slopes.  :o

Question guys,

Anyone tried booking UBER XL? Planing to book from airport to our hotel kasi. Saan ba ang best pick up point sa airport? TIA.

Kinuha ko yung accessible for both HK at Macau. Meron kasi HK lang ang cover. Just be ready for a HK$500 or Php 3500+ sa credit card para sa deposit requirement.

~~~
I also went to their Swindon bookstore sa Lock Road. Medyo mas updated at newest stocks pa yata ang mga NBS at Fully Booked stores dito sa atin.  ::)
Just got back from HK-Macau last February 16-19. :)
Sulit din for us yung LTE Data Only sim card. We bought it when we arrived in Macau (sa terminal), mga 2-3 stalls sila magkakatabi na nakaharap sa'yo when you walk out. I think it was maybe around P800 for the 4 days. Ok naman ang service. :) Make sure that you get the one na pwede hanggang HK if you're planning to take it there. Nauna kase sa itinerary namen ang Macau so we made sure na it's still usable in HK (and it was).
We were able to try yung new bridge, yung HZMB or Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macau Bridge, on our way back to HK. From HK to Macau, we took the TurboJet ferry (about HKD 186/head weekend kase kame). Going back to HK, we tried the bus kase na-kwento ng isang PInoy in our Macau hotel na it's faster (around 30-40 mins only) and cheaper (HKD 58 for day trip and HKD 63 for night).
The difference lang is yung ferry, when you arrive in HK, there's already an MTR station below it (Sheung Wan). If you take the bus, it will arrive in HKIA domestic terminal which has no access to MTRs but there are buses outside. I think almost all bus lines are available there. Definitely, there are buses to Central, Mongkok, TST, etc ito kase sinakyan namin. I think around HKD 21 per person, HKD 79 total per person as compared to the ferry.
In Macau, hindi na kame kumuha ng tour, "manual" lang lahat hehe. We did not stay in Cotai (where all the famous casinos are); our hotel was 5 minutes from Lotus Square. Sobrang sulit na the hotel has a free shuttle to and from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal. Then from this terminal, madami nang buses to the famous hotels na free! So we just had to take the free shuttle from the hotel to the terminal, then lipat na kame ng bus going to Venetian, City of Dreams, etc. From Senado Square, meron din free buses sa may Grand Emperor hotel; this was the first bus we took going to the famous casinos kase nag Ruins muna kame.
From the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, meron na din free shuttle to take you to to the HZMB terminal just in case you decide to take the bus going back to HK.
^ Ooh thank you for sharing the Macau-HK bus! Ang laki ng mura + no hilo haha! Pinakaayaw ko yun sa ferry, ang laki ng alon. Meron naman din sigurong HK-Macau bus noh? :)
^Hi sis, yes meron din. Pero hindi namin na-try yun; I guess you take a bus to the terminal since if galing ng Macau, bus lang din to HK.
Ay yun pa pala isang difference. Since pagdating ng HK, bus ang sasakyan mo to Central, Mongkok, TST, etc, mas matagal ang travel time compared sa MTR. It took us mga 40 minutes to get to Mongkok.
We're looking at staying sa Sheraton but not sure if this is a good choice for location. any thoughts? Thankie!
^Hi sis, hindi ko napansin yung Sheraton kung saan kame nag libot, I'm sorry hehe but kame, we stayed in Hotel Rio. It's 5 minutes (by the free shuttle) from the Outer Harbor Terminal. We just booked it through Agoda :)
We took a cab once in Macau and it was only  to go to St. Paul's Ruins/Senado Square. Then from Senado Square, walking distance na to the shuttle buses going to the famous casinos. :)
