Nakakaawa yung couple, wala pang one month, medyo sensitive lang iba sa comments napunta kasi sa insurance yung usapan kasi hindi nila mabalik yung body dito. Hay, panget pa naman impression ko sa Maldives kasi kung hindi naman luxury hotel pag stayan mo pucho pucho lang yung ibang resort doon naalala ko tuloy sa vlog ni Anne Clutz yung wala silang life vest at hindi man lang ininsist ng staff ng resort.

Sobrang nakakalungkot lang na honeymoon tapos ganiyan.

nakakagigil nga yung ibang nababasa ko sa comments na pasosyal daw kasi yung mag asawa tapos ngayon mamamalimos ng pang uwi ng pinas. grabe lang ang mga tao! ganito na ba talaga kaharsh at kacruel ngayon?

^Wow, ganon? It's a tragic accident. Although I agree that it's recommended to have travel insurance in case something happens pero to comment something like that while the family is grieving? WTH! Di ka na nga tumulong eh.

Eye-opener sa mga travellers ang nangyari na yun sa mag-asawa. Like ako hindi ako naga-avail ng travel insurance kasi may travel insurance tie up ang credit card na gamit ko sa pagbooked ng ticket pero hindi pala enough yun. Ngayon ko lang naisip basahin ang terms and agreement.

Grabe naman yung nagsabi na pasosyal yung mag-asawa. Hindi naman nila alam na magkakaganon. Para sa akin di naman sila pasosyal, naging sobrang kampante lang sila na walang mangyayaring masama.

To be honest naging eye opener nga ito sa akin. Grabe family of three kami at talagang kapag nag travel kami NEVER ako nag-aavail ng travel insurance na yan. As in cross out kahit nga seat arrangement hindi ako kumukuha kasi. Feeling ko added expenses talaga siya. Pero after ng nangyari sa couple na ito. Naku never skip na ang travel insurance sa mga travels namin in the future. Buti sinagot na ng DFA. Kudos sa kanila kung totoo ngang 100%  ang sasagutin nila ah.

Sad talaga nung nangyari dun sa newly weds, at mas lalo sad sa naiwan family na grieving na nga namomroblema pa ng repatriation.  Never pa ako umalis without travel insurance.  Basta sasakay ng eroplano kahit domestic lang yan always meron talaga kame ng family ko.  Yung idea na lang na wala ka sa sarili bansa and something happens nakakatakot talaga lalo na may anak na ko kaya suki talaga ako ng travel insurance kasama na yan sa budget namin when flying.

Very important yung travel insurance talaga. Yung auntie ng friend ko had a hemorrhagic stroke while on vacation sa Singapore, the travel insurance helped them big time para macover ang expenses sa hospital.

Sa local never na ako kumukuha ng insurance pero agree pag sa labas ng bansa kasi lahat iba hindi ka familiar. Sobrang nakakalungkot lang talaga tsaka ang hirap na hindi alam kung ano yung talagang nangyari unless ipa-autopsy.

i never get travel insurance when i travel din kasi nga feeling ko addtl cost. now with their tragedy, i'll probably get one when i travel next time. ang tragic lang talaga kasi they only got married in December and died the following month.

the area where the couple took their honeymoon is an inhabited island and not a resort island (think boracay island where there are a number of hotels in the island, and there are people who live there) and there are only two areas where they can swim that is basically clear.  Unfortunately, the area where they were found, between Dhiifushi and Meeru Island - the current there is quite strong and there's a deep drop between the two islands.  think Pagudpod - where the current is usually strong.

we stayed at Meeru Resort Island (the island opposite where the couple stayed) and the current in the afternoon is quite strong, and konting hakbang lang from the beach, deep area na agad. snorkeling gear when you get it from the resort - you'll be issued a life vest as well, and they usually have a warning on which areas currently have strong current and therefore guests are advised not to swim in that area. based on one report - they were staying at a guesthouse in Dhiffushi and maybe they are not that strict in issuing life vests. 

Maldives is a beautiful experience - only if  you stay at a Resort Island - and you are on An All Inclusive Package (all food, activities etc are paid for) otherwise - it will be like staying at any of the beaches here in the Philippines.  It is also not that expensive (ours was USD 1,000 for 3 nights for 1 room with 2 pax, all inclusive package) - as long as you book ahead and during their low season.  otherwise, it is not worth it to go to Maldives on a budget.

Sabi nga daw pagka napanood kung mahina ka at dumadaan ka sa depression parang maeencourage ka gawin yun.

Wala talaga sa itsura ang, kasi napaka kalog naman daw nya, hindi nila ineexpect, ang laking impact din siguro 'yong nawala ang aso nya. Kasi ako dati sobrang iyak ko rin nung nawalan ako ng aso.

^2nd attempt na daw yan, yung 1st attempt niya nung makipagbreak ang gf niya. Di daw natuloy yung 1st attempt kasi sa sobrang kalasingan hindi niya naisampa yung buong katawan niya sa platform, bale kalahating katawan lang nailabas niya tapos nakatulog na siya.

Masakit naman talaga mawalan ng minamahal maski tao, gamit o bagay pa yan lalo na kung dun ka humuhugot ng emotional support.
