Not a lawyer here but alam ko after the President singned the bill it will effectively become a law after 15 days..  but def this is a good news! thanks to Riza Hontiveroz

So happy for all of you working Mamshies sa Pinas regarding the EML Law, mukang sure na dito ako manganganak sa Middle East. Uuwe nalang kami ni baby after a month para makasama naman kami ng family namin. 2 mos lang ang paid Maternity leave dito, pero makikiusap ako ng long vacation abutin ako 7 mos, 8 years na din kasi ako sa company, medyo maluwag naman sila sa ganun.

iammechelle - sis maliit kasi ako 5 flat lang ako kasi hehe medyo hirap na nga ako ngayon di ko maimagine may 3 mos pa ko ilalaki, muka na ata ako panda non, tumataba din ako, lumalaki hita, braso saka muka ko, boobs ang di masyado, haha sayang!

thatkdramaeonni - thank you sis, di ako malakas sa rice pero bread ang type ko saka sweets paminsan, kelan ba usually ang glucose test?

Rory_Lorelie_Gilmore :  travelling one month after delivery might be too soon, friendly advice lang siguro, at least have yourself cleared by your doctor on your 6th week postpartum checkup.  i had a job interview a month after delivery and mahilo-hilo pa ko nun, hindi pa talaga ako 100 percent myself. what more yung mag-empake kayo at bumyahe ng mga 7-8 hours nang may newborn. pero yan ay opinyon ko lamang, sakin lang e sana kayanin niyo ni baby, lalo na dami pang nagkalat na bacteria and viruses everywhere.

thatkdramaeonni: sorry, not meant to scare, pero I'm type O+ and i would freak out if I needed blood kasi type O lang ang pwede sakin (most of my friends here are not kasi). We're not type AB na pwede ang kahit ano. although at least O+, pwede O+ and O-. if O- ka then mas mahirap kasi O- lang pwede sayo.

and maganda yan may fb group kayo. I'm in the Last Qtr 2017 FB group and til around last year may mga updates and makikita niyo milestones ng mga babies, pati party supplier review exchange.

Sarap naman ng EML para sa mga working moms here! Hahaha. Mukhang hindi ko yan mafifeel kasi for now consultant role muna ako sa preschool ng friend ko then saka pa namin finalize yung full time contract after i give birth. For the past 2 nights nga iyak ako ng iyak kasi naguiguilty ako to be going back to work again after giving birth. Gusto ko sana alagaan muna si baby but we shall see. Nothing is set on paper pa naman

Sis rory keri yang ogtt mo, kung wala naman kayong lahi ng diabetes (at hindi ka at risk) i think more or less safe ka! I was ordered nga to do another FBS last week and then PPBS (eat after fbs then take blood again after 2 hrs) kasi nga mejo malaki si baby pero ok naman normal naman results ko. So i guess.. big boned lang talaga tong baby ko na to! Hahaha mana saken! Sana yung height nya mana sa side ko haha not so tall kasi hubby side eh.

mgvaa, I see, kelan ba usually ang OGTT? 24 weeks na kasi ako, nababasa ko is 24-28 weeks daw, kakatapos lang ng CAS namin and check up ko bukas idiscuss ko na sa OB ko yung OGTT. Wala naman kami lahi ng diabetis, puro lemon water din ako lately, pangontra sa carbs and sweets hehe.

Hear here, kung ako lang masusunod gusto ko din magalaga muna maski abutin pa 1 year.

Sis rory correct yang 24-28 weeks, i did that on my 26th week.. the week after christmas! Imagine ang takot ko kasi nag indulge ako onti dahil pasko syempre hehe pero oks naman. Super thankful din ako kasi wala kami lahi ng diabetes so i guess that is a big factor talaga.

Welcome sis KrabbyPatty! Hehe. Active nga namin dito, most of us kasi nakabedrest at some point in our pregnancies (ako all throughout ata.) Lapit na due date mo sis! Baby boy o girl ba?

Sis iceheaven31: oo nga eh, good thing na O+. Kumukuha din kami ng blood donors sa friends namin and relatives. Sabi kasi ni OB, sometimes di nakadeclare ang Rh factor ng dugo sa Red Cross. Saka parang mas secured ako kung kakilala namin yung donor.

hay sana makaabot tayo sa 105 ML ano. kasi kung sakali, third ko na so last pregnancy ko na talaga ito. kung hahabol pa ng isa si hubby, ayoko na! waaaaaaa  ;-)

yung ogct ko, sometime december din. 24-26th week namin.

@rory had my ogtt at 24 weeks. at inulit ko! waaaahhh. invalid kasi yung results nung una. kaya tip, try your best na wag magsuka and make sure na good yung blood sample na makukuha. if di ka naman talaga mahilig sa sweets and in moderation ang kain mo, chances are, the results would be ok.

@mgvaa first day back to work ang pinakamahirap. super! pero it gets better with time. sanayan din.

@littlekinselle Nakapublish na yung EML law sa Official Gazette so the 15 days countdown starts na! Sana lang talaga mabilis marelease yung IRR. Although hindi retroactive, sana naman ma-consider yung naka-ML after the law was deemed effective kahit na hindi pa plantsado yung IRR at the time we give birth.

@chiqmom every three weeks na checkup ko. wala pa ring balita kung kelan next ultrasound ko, gusto ko na malaman kung breech pa rin si baby. huhu.

@iammechelle betadine feminine wash tapos yung may bayabas did the trick for me! pero medyo matagal din yung lochia ko, almost one month din ata akong may bleeding pa din.

Regarding check up, a month after pa ko pinapabalik ng OB. Not sure pero baka after ng March check up namin, every week na depending on position ni baby.

Rory_Lorelie_Gilmore: had mine around 24 weeks din ata. and yes, sabi nga ni mysecretself, wag mo isusuka yung iinumin mong glucose thingy, kasi uulitin mo ulit one more time from the top. lol. tsaka mega fasting din yan, so siguro damihan mo kain sa last meal mo before fasting. sa pinas ata pati water bawal e, dito sa kl pwede tubig, not sure pano sistema diyan. and buti pa nga rin sa pinas mukhang juice yung glucose thingy, yung akin mukhang shabu na glucose powder lang na hinalo sa mainit na tubig. pero yung lasa e para akong lumaklak ng caramel.

Hello!1 mga mommshies!! sino mag papa cordlife dito? 50/50 pa kasi ako if kukuha ako or hindi.. OB ko kasi tinanong ko if worth it. sagot niya niya saken ikaw kung gusto mo gumastos why not? haha kaloka.. tapos binigyan niya ako ng mga website na basahin ko daw about cord banking.
