Good morning ladies,

Update on my initial consultation with OB.

I was 10 weeks and 4 days on Saturday and the baby measured exactly the same! I also got to hear the heartbeat and got super emotional. MY EDD is on May 22, 2019.

Not so good news:
- I gained weight too fast daw. Doctor told me to eat several mini meals in between and huwag sobrang magpabusog.

- I have low-lying placenta but doctor told me not too worry too much. Aakyat naman daw after a few weeks. Has anyone had this? Did it become normal in the end?

@katheeyong i was diagnosed with placenta previa on my 14th week. Naka bed rest ako since then and repeat scan after a month. My 2 sisters in law had this also, eventually naging okay naman and nag deliver sila normally.

@chiqmom ang alam ko wbc fights off infection baka it signals an impending uti or something so drink ka lang lots of water sis!

Mabuti mga sis, nawala na ang morning sickness ninyo. ako ay sumusuka pa rin once in a while. sa umaga pagkagising tapos sa tanghali at hapon. naku, nagaalala ako baka wala nakukuha si baby na nutrition. pa-admit na kaya ako? tapos may ubo at sipon na rin ako. wala pa namang fever. pero worried ako mga sis

Eat small meals nalang palagi. Pacheck ka na din kasi baka nga madehydrate ka like what sis nursekitty said. Can you text your ob? Maybe she can advise you better on what to do. Pag ako kasi onting discomfort text ko agad doctor ko hehe nagrereply naman sya lalo na pag urgent Good luck!!!

Mommies, itong OB ko kasi ay bihira magreply sa text. di nagpre-prescribe ng hindi ako nakikita. medyo kaya ko pa. nakatulog ako ng mahimbing kagabi. 7pm tulog na ako. Nakapahinga ako at medyo okay na ako. Bawas na rin ang ubo sipon at panghihina ko. salamat mga sis!

Hi mga sis, I'm just new here. Due ko din April 2019. I just want to know if may nahanap na kayo na magandang OB and hospital kung san nyo balak manganak at saka sana hindi yung masyadong pricey. Sa ngayon kasi naghahanap kami ibang hospital. Currently, nagpapacheck up kami sa Makati Medical Center and sobrang mahal ng package nila for labor. Hope you can help me. Thank you

yung OB ko kasi simula noong first two pregnancies ko, siya pa rin. medyo nagmahal na ang rate niya at di na affiliated doon sa murang hospital kung saan ako nanganak 5 years ago. pero napag usapan namin ni hubby na pag iipunan na lang namin kasi di ako kampante kapag ibang OB eh.  Mahal talaga sa Makati Med sis. Saang area ka ba?

Went to other OB kasi wala OB ko..  ang ginawa niya nag pap smear and ultrasound that cost me 3200 in just 30 mins. Haha.. that was in MMC.. natakot ako kasi nakita niya mejo naka open un entrance papunta cervix kaka ubo.  Baka daw mag undergo ako sa cervical cerclage .. naka one week na ako gamutan for my ubo naka one week na din ako naka laleave sa work ..  hay miss ko na un OB ko sana avail siya mamaya to confirm na if pwede pa ako mag work or hindi na.. btw sa MMC din ako manganganak .. trusted  ko na sila mahigit one month ako sa labor room nila dati dahil sa sakit ko than sila din nag opera saken while 7 months preggy ako.

@iammechelle are you taking any medications? I'm so sorry, ang hirap ng ubo ng ubo, lalo na while pregnant. Maybe you can take lozenges, drink warm ginger water or lemon water to soothe your throat?

Thank you @mgvaa! Doctor did not put me on bed rest. So I am still walking 30 minutes to work and another 30 minutes to go back home. My mom keeps reminding me na dahan dahan lang, masyado daw akong malikot. Hehe

Good thing nabasa ko mga posts nyo, was planning last night na di ko na iinumin yung Pro C na bigay ni ob para mabawasan iniinom kong meds, pang iwas sipon daw yun, been taking it since Oct 13, di naman ako nasipon since then..tutuloy tuloy ko na, para prevention. Importante talaga face mask sa panahon ngayon for us. get well soon mga sis.

By the way, just out of curiosity, for those non first time moms, have you tried the chinese gender calendar before? Accurate ba sa inyo? I read sa babycenter forum and based on my estimate 95% of those who replied the calendar was correct for them. Just wanted to know 😄

Sis hindi ako nag-base sa chinese calendar. Pero ngayon, binalikan ko, sakto naman sa gender ng mga junakis ko hehe. Ngayong third pregnancy ko, ang nasa Chinese Calendar ko ay Boy pero doon sa pinadala kong link sa inyo kahapon, mga symptoms and signs ko ay Girl. Kahit ano naman, oks lang basta healthy. ang dilemma ko, wala na akong baby clothe, naipamigay ko na lahat, waaaaaaa
 
Agree sa facemask. ang bilis natin mahawa mga sis. lalo na ako, ang tanda ko na tapos third pregnancy ko pa. ;-)

Yes pls be extra careful! Matagal na lakad din yung sayo. Ako kasi placenta previa totalis, meaning nasa baba talaga yung placenta right on top of the cervix na. Kahapon ko lang na realize na hindi ko na nga kaya maglakad ng malayo.. nag mall kasi ako and grabe after 15mins of walking lang bumigat na feeling ko sa tummy. I had to rest sa customer lounge ng mall. Haha buti nalang may ganun sila and walang tao masyado. Sinulit ko ang 10pesos kasi 1hr ako nag rest. 😂

Ako feeling ko babae yung gender, pero tamad naman ako mag ayos at minsan ayokong maligo. Hehe

Excited na din ako malaman ang gender ng babies naten! Gusto sana namin ng hubby ko ng boy pero sa chinese calendar, girl ang naka predict. Anyhoo tama si sis @iammechelle as long as healthy and normal si baby kahit anong gender nya keri!

Samahan ko sana parents ko sa cemetery tomorrow pero ayaw ako payagan ni hubby. Bawal nga daw. So just to be on the safe side, hindi nalang ako pupunta.

hello! medyo matagal akong walang update. hehe.

inuubo at sinisipon ako. waaaahhh!!! nahawa ako sa toddler ko. nagcacalamansi and lemon ako pero parang ang tagal mawala. di pa ako nakakabalik sa ob para mapacheck up to dahil naglong weekend.

di kami nagsementeryo, umuwi lang kami ng legazpi. pasyal konti.

di nagwork sa kin yung chinese calendar the first time, nagexpect tuloy ako ng boy. pero oks lang, happy naman ako with my little girl. sana boy na ang next.

MMC din ako manganganak. yun na kasi pinakamalapit sa bahay and office.
