^San pwede makita, curious ako. I dont want to side with anyone dahil lang sa movie alam naman natin na one-sided ang mga ganyan. Parehas na wealthy ang family na involved kaya labanan ng pera and influence talaga ito, ang hirap paniwalaan na nakulong si Paco ng ganun lang. Parang napaka-inutil naman ng lawyer niya, wala man lang bang depensa na ginawa for him.

Re Saab and Max i think they should both open their hearts and mind. Max should understand Saab since she lost a child pero Saab should also understand that Max just got married, may sariling buhay din ang tao. May iba pa naman silang kapatid if need niya ng karamay. For me kasi di naman porke may pinagdadaanan ang isang tao dapat huminto na ang buhay ng iba para lang sa kanya.

Give up tomorrow docu.. i read somewhere na related sa camp nila paco ang gumawa ng docu kaya syempre pabor sa kanila yung film. I dont know but i dont feel sorry for him kasi andun nga siya sa spain oh, sosyal hehe eh samantalang yung mga ordinaryong preso nagtitiis sa mala sardinas at maduming kulungan.

Hindi ko na natatandaan ang news about chiong sisters pero bakit pinapalabas na buhay daw sila? Ang weird lang. dun sa mga sis na nakakaalala pa hehe, bat ba sila paco ang diniin? I mean may iba pa bang suspects bukod sa kanila pero dinisregard lang?

That?s the purpose of the documentary naman talaga sis, to show how unjust the trial and the sentence was to Paco and the others. They stated it at the end of the film. Brother in law nya producer. They focused on Paco kase sa kanya din na-focus yung buong trial.

Based on what I watched, here are some of the shady things on the case:

1. The mutilated body found never went through DNA testing. When it was shown to the parents, they initially said hinde daw nila daughter yon.

2. The suspects were ultimately pinned because of the statement of one of the accomplices daw named David Rusia who became a state witness. He was one of those who raped and murdered daw the sisters. Thelma Chiong became really friendly with him.

3. Paco was never allowed on the witness stand. This I found to be really disturbing. Then the testimonies of his teachers and classmates were not accepted.

While sure, nasa Spain sya ngayon. But I think he?s still in jail and sabe nga nya, mas okay pa nga daw sana dito kase mas malapit sa family nya. Pero kung talagang wala syang kasalanan, wow, to be robbed of his whole life is very unforgiveable. Apparently, yung father daw ng chiong sisters was supposed to testify regarding a drug lord that he was working for. Then the daughters disappeared. Hinde na sya nagtestify.

Ang sabi ng mga tita ko from Cebu may mga rumor na from an influential family from Negros daw ang talagang may kasalanan eh. And yun nga, walang DNA testing.

However, after reading the SC case, doubtful na rin ako sa innocence nya.

Ang defense nya is nasa manila daw siya when the crime happened. Kaso inconsistent naman witnesses nya. May nagsabi nasa condo daw. May nagsabi nasa party. May nagsabi whole day daw nag exam sa school. May teacher na nagsabi nag attend daw ng lecture niya si Paco. Ano ba talaga? Lol.

Saka if totoong may exam siya, bakit hindi nya pinakita test papers nya to prove that? Bakit di nya pinawitness yung dean nya? Puro party people at classmates lang sila nipresent nya. Di pa nagkaka-isa sa testimony.

Granted na di siya kasama sa listt of passengers ng mga airlines from July 15 to July 17. Pero di lang naman via plane ang mode of transpo papuntang cebu. Pwede magbarko. Pwede mag helicopter. Kung di siya sumakay sa barko, helicopter o kahit anong sasakyan, bakit di siya nagpresent ng mga taong nagwowork doon to prove na wala siya sa barko o helicopter papuntang cebu? Bakit puro taga-airlines lang?

Saka I notice papalit-palit siya ng lawyers. Tapos mahihina pa. Marami remedies na pinaglagpas. Another reason din iyan kaya humina defense niya.

Siguro kung ginalingan nya lang yung pagprove nya ng evidence, I am sure na-acquit siya hindi dahil sa innocent siya kundi dahil sa di maprove ang guilt nya beyond reasonable doubt. Another factor nga is weak lawyers nya. Hindi niya ginaya si webb na consistent sa defense nya until SC.

Doon sa issue na di pinayagan si paco magtestify for himself, somehow at fault din siya. He and his co-accused resorted to delaying tactics para lalo madelay yung case.  Sa sobrang inis ni judge, pinagbawalan na sila.

Anyway, guilty man siya o hindi, obvious na poorly handled ang case na ito. Di man lang pina-DNA ang bangkay. Di man lang pinaghandaan defense ni Paco. Marami lapses na pinagdaanan.
 
I suggest you read the SC decision, mga sis. Wag magrely alone sa give up tomorrow. Biased ang docu na yan. Kamag-anak ni Paco ang gumawa nyan.

Im pro-paco, pero yung naglalabasang pics sa fb na buhay pa daw ang chiong sisters  #fakenews. Kay debbie and wife of dennis chiong na pics yun, nakikisabay sa hype lang kasi yung iba di muna mag research bago mag post.

thank you for this input sis, honestly di ko na nga inabot to na issue na to, nalaman ko lang to this week.. haha and yung una ko pa napanuod is yung give up tomorrow tapos nahirapan pa ako intindihin yung sa SC.
after reading a lot of tweets, hindi naman nga yung missing sisters yung nasa viral photos ng mga chiong, parang yung isang anaka yun and inlaw.
sana ma re-open and mabigyan ng justice on both sides.

If you watch the Give Up Tomorrow docu, and you let your emotions, and your 'bias' (due to social media hype) reign - then macoconvince ka talaga na 'Wow, this man is totally innocent!' Kasi in the first place, that docu was meant for that purpose - to reiterate Paco's 'innocence'. If you don't research or read up otherwise, then you'd just have one side of the controversy.

Personally, I don't have time na himay-himayin yung facts ng case bilang isang dakilang chismosa lang talaga ako. I would just have to side with one of our sisses here na it was a very poorly managed case.  Mahinang abogado on one side, and nagmamadaling matapos na ito/gustong magpasikat na prosecution on the other side.  I'm sure pag hinimay-himay ang kaso, lalabas ang true 'winner' - pero no guarantee na lalabas ang 'truth'. Because there did seem to be a lot of 'fishy' things going on at that time.  The families of the suspects involved weren't 'ordinary' citizens, mayayaman at maiimpluwensiyang pamilya. The Chiongs weren't your run-of-the-mill businessmen either. Power play must have been intense.

Yung mga lumalabas na buhay pa daw ang Chiong sisters... nakakaloka....Although if Jacqueline really wasn't 'found' at all - then hindi naman imposibleng buhay pa siya. I just doubt she'd show publicly WITH her family.

Ang hindi ko matanggap....yung inaaway at binabash si Meg Imperial because of the movie. Errrr, artista lang po sya, nagtratrabaho lang. Must have been a great script, and a challenging role for her kaya nya tinanggap.

Onga nakakatawa sa socmed kasi yung iba eh mamaru na kagad, eh napanood lang naman yung docu hehe.. Kung titingnan mo majority mga millenials hehe, kala mo naman buhay na sila that time or may muwang na sila nung panahon na nangyari yung krimen. Eh hindi din naman nila alam kung ano talaga totoong nangyari.

Im not pro or anti anyone. Kahit ako medyo nahihiwagaan sa story na to. Nakakatawa lang na pinapalabas pa na buhay yung chiong sisters.

Sabi ni Paco kahit daw nasa Spain sha mas gugustuhin niya sa pinas makulong. Kasi malungkot daw sa Spain. Sa pinas daw mas nakikita niya madalas yung family niya. And bibigyan daw sha ng parole kung aamin sha. But he said he'd rather spend his whole life daw in jail than to admit the crime he didn't do. Which makes me believe talaga na innocent sha.

Hindi ko pa nababasa ang SC judgment din, based lang sa napanood ko din sa, medyo na weirduhan ako sa nanay ng Chiong sisters, kase meron pang part dun na sinabe nyang pinili daw nila yung picture ni Rusia, na mala boy next door ang itsura? Ang off lang na suspect sa pagpatay ng mga anak mo kahit na umamin, tapos dinadalhan ng damit etc.. basta ang weird.

Also si Judge din, ang lungkot lang na nagpakamatay after.
