We all know weddings can cost a lot! We all have a number of things we need to save up and invest on -- some more than the others. That's why we'd like to know -- for your wedding, which one was your biggest expense?

Some of the answers will be included in a Female Network article.

Catering and Venue.. since we wanted our guests to enjoy our reception, both the program and the food. Around 40% of our budget went to the food and venue

About to wed on October.. booked all suppliers already but our biggest expense goes to food and photographer.

Food and venue

Yung sa venue, si husband ang pumili. It was within budget but we could've easily saved 50k kung ibang venue pinili namin.

No regrets though, pinakasulit naman.

To quickly answer, our biggest expense is on food and alcohol, followed by our wedding attire and fashion, then third comes the photo/video fees.

This is a very subjective question because expenses can tip toward any direction based on variables -- like number of guests, and if it's a single-day/multi-day event, destination wedding or not. For a smaller wedding, a photo/video service could easily be the biggest cost since you don't have to feed a lot of people and don't need a big wedding venue. For a bigger wedding, the plated meals alone could easily cost WAY more than a photo/video fee.

i guess a more interesting question would be on wedding budget priorities? Which one do most couples tend to prioritize to spend on?
