Sorry but no, that kind of job will not afford the lifestyle equal to that of what Donita is used to.

The guy was a Senior Art Director in SG. Yes, not Donita's income level, but maybe that wasn't that important to Donita, kaya nga niya pinili yung guy.

My point is, during that time, Donita thought that was the best guy for her. Kaya nga niya pinakasalan.

Graphic Designer yung guy and if you check his linkedin account nakalagay doon freelance ang work niya, which can mean anything from getting rakets to not working at all.

Thanks mga sis, nakita ko na pero di ko maopen full profile since wala akong LinkedIn account. I?m wondering what led this guy to cheat lalo na almost perfect na wife niya? Halos lahat meron na si Donita. Ego ba? Or sadyang walanghiya lang to?! Naalala ko yung mom ni Donita sobrang ayaw kay Gary E. Nagsisisi kaya mom ni Donita since mukhang very responsible pala si Gary na husband and father.

My point is, maybe that wasn't important to Donita. She was rich, she was earning a lot of money, maybe money was not her top priority in choosing a life  partner. And that's her call.

Sabi niya, she chose him because they shared the same faith. Whatever her reason was, I'm sure she went into the marriage thinking she chose the best partner for her. It just did not work out.

And that is where the logic for me went out the window. Yes of course its her call, and thats not the point.

First off, she is in showbiz for a long time. Alam naman niya na fame is not forever, and she can't earn a lot of money forever. Tayo nga hindi tayo showbiz but even us ordinary citizens know that showbiz is very very fickle and it almost always favors the young people. Doon pa lang dapat prepared na siya. And before, a lot of people were telling her not to get married yet because she will waste a lot of opportunities.  Don't tell me hindi niya alam na may possibility na malalaos siya. Kahit sa Hollywood kokonti lang yung artista na matanda na, sikat at in demand pa rin until magretire or mamatay. Kaya nga kahit mga local artista natin dito nagnenegosyo at nag iinvest habang sikat pa kasi nga alam nila na at least may pera sila kahit mawala na ang kinang nila.

You need to make sure your future is secured before anything else, lalo na kung mag-aasawa at magkaka-anak ka. My point is, hindi niya ginamit ang logic at utak niya sa pag-pili ng asawa. And no, marriage is not emotions only. Hindi ka mapapakain ng pag-ibig.

That's true. But again, she chose the person she thought was the best partner for her. Obviously, it did not work, but that was the person she loved and wanted to marry. Noone goes into a marriage wanting it to fail kaya siguro hindi na naisip ni Donita yan.

Kung yaman ang priority or gusto ni Donita, she could have chosen my friend (or the many many rich suitors she had). Buhay reyna sha ngayon sana.

Yuck. Its equivalent of a girl dumbing herself down to get a guy to like her. If he can't support you or if he is insecure about your abilities then he doesn't deserve you. Panget, walang pera, insecure, manloloko, banal na aso, santong kabayo. Ano bang positive diyan sa lalaking yan?

And this is why Wakanda is the best (fictional) country for women. Men there never put their women down or get intimidated by them, but they support each other and that's why they are a rich strong nation (yes vibranium had a lot to do with it but still this enhances it.)

Uhmm EXCUSE ME.  not everything is about money.  And not everyone thinks the same way. The part about donita ruining her career?  She didnt deliberately ruin her career why would she do that?  She just wants to build a family which is for some people more important that fame career money and rapunzel hair. 
If for you being a celebrity is such a big deal na bothered ka sa decisions ni donita rose a decade ago..  E di mag artista ka.  Sobrang affected.

When Donita decided to marry and build a family, I bet she NEVER imagined nor thought that her marriage will go down the drain.  I mean, whose in her right mind would think such a devastating thing, right? She isn't stupid either.  She made her decision based on the circumstances that she had then and I also bet everything were somehow in sync. Her family's approval, her partner's faith and demeanor towards her and ultimately her feelings.

Now, if she'll commit the same mistake in getting a partner in the future with the same qualities as her ex then that's the only time we can say that she is indeed dense in relationship.

^ agree. It is very off to blame Donita and call her stupid. She didnt know naman na their relationship is bound to fall. Sometimes, life goes in directions that we can neither predict nor control. Hindi naman niya ginustong ganun ang mangyari.

That's what I actually trying to say. Maybe Donita felt she has an upper hand because she's a great catch. However, it  might have caused the guy to be insecure. Big deal pa naman sa kanila ang ego nila. At since we don't have an omniscient point of view, we don't know what exactly is going on with their everyday life and the people around them. We can only speculate. PERO, cheating...kahit ano pa idahilan ni guy is a huge NO. Hiwalayan mo muna before moving on with another girl. Yan tuloy, naookray ang itsura nya. Pangit ka na nga, ganyan pa ugali mo. Wala ng redeeming factor.
