Hacks To Remedy Dark and Discolored Underarms

Hi Ladies,

Since we love learning about new home remedies (as it saves time and money), can you share what hacks you do to remedy dark and discolored underarms?

Some of the answers will be included in an article.

I apply calamansi extract, wait 5 minutes then apply evap milk on my UA, knees, and elbows. I let it sit for 10minutes before I take a bath. Once a week naman, I replace that with calamansi dipped in baking soda.

I don't apply deodorant/antiperspirant. I use Ponds white facial wash to clean my UA when taking a bath then apply Eskinol Classic with mineral grains daily using a cotton ball. This also serves as my deodorant. And it works wonders! :-)

^I have been doing the routine since January of this year. My UA was at its worst after I gave birth, as in dumilim sya ng todo, kaya I tried this hack and I wasn't disappointed.

May same situation kaya katulad nito? Hindi naman maitim UA ko pero pag naka close yung underarm ko parang ang itim. Kaya nahihiya ako mag sleeveless eh.

^try mo sis yung aloe deo ng forever living. Dun kumikinis ang UA ko, kasi pag normal deo lang gamit ko like ng Dove or Nivea parang ang rough saka may mga bumps yung underarms ko. Tapos epilator lang talaga,no to shaving ako. Pag naman napapansin ko nagdadarken sya, ginagamitan ko ng misumi wonder bleach, binababad ko sya overnight for 1 week, tapos tigil na ulit pag nakita kong naglalighten na sya ulit.

Yng sugaring ba ok pang alis ng hair? Hindi ba nakakaitim?

^I use cold wax (sugar wax) for more than a year na ata. Hindi naman nag-dark UA ko. maganda nga sya kasi parang nag-exfoliate din skin ko, natatanggal dead skin nya. every 2-3 weeks ako nag-wax, depende na din sa hair growth. nakakanggal din sya chicken skin.

Same tayo, sis. Even my aesthecian sa LFI if nagpapawax ako compliments my UA. Pero pagclose, yung sides or yung kita pag naka tube or off shoulder ka, medyo dark ng konti. I think ito yung lagi nagfriction sa clothes ko lalo na if tight ones.

I am currently trying this. On my 4th day palang, I hope there would be noticeable effects! Fingers crossed.

My UA Ay sobrang itim since high school. Kakahiya. Recently I tried aryana bleach please.in fairness, nag lighten pero di pa totally maputi. Been using it for 2 weeks and OK naman effect sa akin. Sana tuloy tulog na.

Used rhimarose and very effective sakin. pero isang tub lang ginagamit ko after manganak. parang ayaw ko siya gamitin long term. I'm actually looking for something na pampakinis sana and pampawala ng lines, same topic din ba to?

Before you spend money on bleaching whitening creams.  Magpa laser hair removal ka muna.  Remove the hair permanently (not by waxing since it still causes trauma to the skin).  Your skin will lighten after LHR since it eliminates chicken skin, shadows & trauma to skin caused by shaving & waxing.

I don't have this issue pero I still try to avoid putting/doing anything to my UA even waxing, shaving ginagawa ko lang kung kailangan, haha maski gross dahil humahaba hair, for me I can deal with that lalo kung wala naman lakad that will require me to wear sleeveless kesa madisturb UA ko mayat maya and magkaron discoloration.

^ Dr Leah Martires.  10k for 6 sessions & you can use the 6 sessions not just for the underarms, pwedeng sa face , arms... Since she's a dermatologist, mataas yung ginagamit nya na setting sa machine.  Unlike if you have it done kunwari sa Skinstation na attendant or nurse lang ang gagawa, mababa lang yung setting ng machine.
