has anyone done hanbok rental? better to buy voucher or walk in lang?

^Hanbok rental madami sa paligid, you don't really need to book. The one I went to (Seohwa) is just across the Gyeongbokgung Palace, and is quite popular and they have a website. We were late for the booking and they were strict, so we waited another half an hour. Medyo nanghinayang ako kasi they are more expensive compared to the ones next to them without the website. Advantage they have is the dress is of high quality. Large deposit kung di mo iiwan ang passport, about 100000 won each person.

Hanbok is the dress right? How much rental? Mahirap ba hanapin? akala ko readily available na sya sa palace?

^parang meron yata sa palace but because of the long waiting period and I think you can only pose for photos for a few minutes. The rental is puwedeng half-day or whole day.

^hindi pa ako nakakapunta uli sa website ng palace so I'm not sure kung meron pa rin uli iyong free rental, pero depende na rin siguro kung ano araw kayo na hindi madami tao.

Sa paligid ng palace madaming rental places ng Hanbok, na mas mura pa sa Seohwa. Advantage siyempre when you rent for a few hours, you can roam around the palace and take photos kahit saan. Klook and Trazy may mga vouchers rin. Depends na rin siguro sa iyo if you want to spend money for a good quality hanbok, or you just want a photo and wala ka paki sa quality ng costume. Hindi naman sobra pangit iyong mas mura, maganda pa rin naman design, iyong quality lang ng cloth nagkaiba. And if you are on the very slim side, mas madami options sa design.

Thanks sis for the reassurance! Do they do hair and makeup also? Hmm.. I want maganda na hanbok hehhe yung pangroyalty... hahaha siguro if I can't wait 30 minutes mag.book ako... hehe pero we'll see

^sa Seohwa hindi, pero noong nag-research ako noon about hair and make-up other sites offer it for additional 50000 to 100000 won.

Sa Seohwa, shoes, hair accessories and bags additional fee. I?ve seen some doing their own make-up and hair doon. Practice ka na lang and do your own baka mas maganda pa.

siguro hair lang... pero parang braid lang ata ehm yung isang style na bun yung married ata. hehe

^Yung experience namin sa hanbok hindi ganun kaganda: sa may bukchon hanok village area kami nag-rent and dahil summer amoy summer din mga hanbok kaloka haha! Rent for a few hours para if plan niyo mag-picture sa mga palace makalibre kayo ng entrance fee.

Ay bakit amoy summer yung hanbok? Di ba nalalabhan after ipa-rent?! Ayaw ko na ata i-try 😭

Sis I rented in OneDay Hanbok rental for 15000KRW, around 750 PHP for 4 hours. This was during winter, malamig actually kasi manipis yung Hanbok, tiis ganda. Medyo malapit siya sa may Bukchon pero walking distance lang naman from Gyeongbokgung Palace. Pwede ka magpasched pero ako walk in lang and I waited for 30mins kasi uunahin yung mga nakasched,

Mas tiisin ko yung ginaw kesa init... hahaha. Hopefully maka.hanap ako ng magandang hanbok..

Sis I downloaded KAKAO TRAINS. works offline din so hindi kailangan ng net all the time. Ang maganda lang pagmay net, updated siya sa arrival and departure times ng trains so magsusuggest siya ng best route for you.

Oo sis infairness naman hindi mabaho yung HANBOK ko. hahahah. Try mo din sa hanbokgirls, super malapit sa palace and ang gaganda ng hanbok! Check mo website nila.
