Hi, planning to submit our applications for renewal of our KR visas. Is there still a looooong line till now? I'm hoping wala na since cherry blossoms season is over. Crossing my fingers.

Pwede pa daw magwalk-in. 250 applicants ata ang cutoff nila per day. Palagay dadami na naman yan pagdating ng sept or oct onwards.

Mga sis, saan okay mag-stay sa Korea? Yun value for money lang sana.. hindi mahal hindi rin cheap.

Hongdae - Univ belt to, medyo young yung vibe. May hilera din ng mga cosmetic shops, marami street performers, chaka cheap clothes. Pero target nila students.

Myeongdong - dito kami nagstay. Nasa gitna kasi so convenient sa lahat. Medyo pricey yung mga street food, pero sulit naman. Minsan yun na lang dinner namin. Sa sobrang daming cosmetic shops, restaurants and other stores, sobrang sulit kung walking distance lang yung hotel mo.

Jongno - Kung prefer mo malapit sa mga palaces, dito ka magstay. Away sya sa mga commercial stores kaya mas konti ang tao.

Overall, kahit saan ka mag-stay okay lang. Kasi super efficient ng subway nila.

Hi, I'm worried with my South Korea visa application. this will be my first time to apply for a visa without the affidavit of support. I'm 27 y.o., self employed with enough savings. I also have visas from Japan, US, Canada, Schengen. Kakagaling ko lang din pala ng SK last dec
I've been constantly checking my visa status via visa.go.kr and nakaindicate lang don na--

My friend's visa is approved already, sabay kaming nagpass ng application thru travel agency and our flight is on June 1 so hindi pa ako nagbobook ng hotel, May 30 daw ang release ng passport namin.
Anyone with the same case as mine? do you think i can book the hotel na?

Alam ko malamig pa din sis. Kailangan pa din ng coat.

sis ailea Parang maapprove naman visa mo sis pero follow up ka nalang in sa agency. MAs mabuti na yung sure na before magbook ng hotel.

@sis Ailea there are hotels naman that are cancellable ang booking, some will even ask you to pay upon arrival at the hotel.

^free pa rin yung visa, ang babayaran lang ay yung service ng travel agency na iaavail mo.

come to think of it, you don't need to go to the embassy twice. so hindi ka na mamamasahe, ng twice na roundtrip, then kakain ka pa at higit sa lahat yung oras na pinila mo dun. nung last time na pagpila ko inabot ako ng 4 hours, instead na productive ka diba. hehe

so far, reli tours daw ang pinakamurang fee sabi sa FB group. 900 pesos daw, tapos yung iba ay nasa 1500-2000 ang visa application assistance fee.

Japan has been practicing this method Sis, I believe it is safe and as per the website of Korean Embassy they have designated agencies for the Visa application.

^^Sana nga safe. Hindi pa naman ako komportable magbigay ng personal info and bank details sa iba lalo na kapag ganyan, baka manakaw ng paresign na employee (sorry na praning lang)

^Sana hindi magbago ng rate ang Travel Pros. Visa processing palang gagastos na kmi. Sayang pandagdag sana sa pocket money pa yun haha.

Anyway magkano ba ang safe na amount that I should put in my bank for a week travel in Korea to make sure na ma-aapprove ako?

sis @Ma_Jewel_1987 @MS_JanDel @pjiyeon my visa got approved, may mali lang daw sa name ko pero ok na. booked with airbnb nalang for our trip tomorrow, we'll be staying at Hongdae

any idea if I can get a pocket wifi at Incheon airport?
