Re umbrella: We were supposed to leave the folded umbrella in HKIA we bought  during our HK trip because we know it won't be allowed in our hand carry but the officer in the airport said that it's okay so we're really glad we're able to bring our HKD25 umbrella to the Philippines.

Just an update, I was able to hand carry my tripod/selfie stick. I wasn't able to buy a good souvenir umbrella though.

Hello po, ask ko lang any idea mag sasale pa kaya ang Cebu Pac im planning to travel end of Dec 2018 to Hong Kong pamahal na ng pamahal ang ticket nila baka may idea naman kayo bago ako bumili. thank you

^angmahal nga sis pahk pag dec kahit anong airline. Suggestion ko sayo sis mag-macau ka then ferry ka na lang to hk. Mas mura macau flight. Check mo airasia. Sale sila ngayon.

^True meron. Ang daya ng website 😭. Lumabas Payment Received pero walang order #. Nagverify ako sa cebpac wala daw nabooked under my name and sabi ng bdo wala din nacharge sa card ko. Nakakalungkot ang mura lang. Mnl-Dps 4300k/2pax lang 😭. Nawalan tuloy ako ng gana.

Ako naman second try ko yun nabook ko. Yung first try kasi is nag-hang nung tinatanggal ko yung seat selector, so pagbalik ko, wala na yung dates na ibobook sana. So panibagong hanap na naman uli!

Mga sis what to do??
I booked a flight for 9000k+ and paid thru my credit card via paypal on 7/18. Tapos i called cebpac and asked them to cancel it pero since pending pa daw they cant do anything about it pa. I called bdo to stop the payment sana pero wala din daw sila magagawa. I reported the issue to paypal pero wala pa ko narinig from them. After a few minutes nakita ko ON HOLD na status ng booking. Then biglang nawala. I called cebpac and i was told hindi na daw lumalabas ang iti and cancelled na ang booking. So akala ko ok now.

Ngayong gabi naka-received ako ng email confirmation from cebpac na nagpush through ang booking and from 9k+, naging almost 14k ang charge. Pati travel dates nabago. I have not called cebpac yet kasi nasa office pa ko. Bakit ganun sila? Feeling ko na-scam ako.

afaik, once you cancelled your flight booking within 24h window, wala pang fees yun. And you have called naman Cebu Pacific several times for that request. They should have a recording of it. And another option is that hopefully the credit card you used has travel protection for cases like flight cancellations. Good luck!

^Goodluck talaga sa akin sis. What?s odd pa e ang booking date 7/18 pero 7/19 na nagpadala ng iti via email. Kaya naniwala ako sa last rep kahapon na hindi nagpush thru ang transaction since i did not receive anything until today. Im shookt.

Nakapagbook ako 1850k for 2 going to DGT. Nasayangan ako kasi nakakita ako ng SG 10k for 3 pax kaso nauna ko na nabook DGT ng same date. Wala na ako makitang ibang date na swak sa amin ng bf ko 😭

^yung sakin naman sis is almost 2030 RT to Taipei for September. Good deal na rin pero mas mahal pa rin kumpara nung sa airasia na almost 1k yung promo nila dati to Taipei. mahal din nakitang kong promo nila for SG nasa 3.1k RT while last year na promo nila is 2.3k RT naman same travel month.

^Oo nasa 3k/pax nga ang SG kasi almost 10k naging total ko for 3pax. Big savings pa din kaso limited lang kasi ang days na nasa Pinas ang bf ko kaya di na ako nag-abala magcheck ng ibang dates. Sana maglabas uli ng sale for May2019.

Daming complaints sa CebPac last time na magkaaberya,
worst airline daw pero nitong magPisofare ang dami pa din nagtry magbook haha.

^Beijing RT 1.9k (August) , Dubai RT  3.1k (June and August holidays) -- jump off point for other countries, so parang layover lang =).

late ako sa piso fare, wala na ako makita for international, meron pa konti sa local destinations pero yung hinde mga ganong puntahan. Oks na din kasi hinde maganda for me travel dates, maulan locally then international naman mainit na season (unless sa AUS pupunta lols) pero sale season naman.

^Haha true. Nakakita ako ng HK 5k for 2pax, last minute nagbackout ako kasi naalala ko super init na sa HK ng June.
