^sis madami naman pala kayo. mas makakamura kayo if magrent na lang kayo ng car especially may bata kayong kasama. di ko advise ang kkday or klook sa may kasamang bata or senior kase para siyang amazing race. hehe. limited kasi ang time sa bawat attractions so may tendency na magmamadali talaga kayo. and mahirap din magcommute. Palipat lipat kayo ng sasakyan. Time-consuming and hassle.

Hello sisses. Tapos na ko mag backread, nag start ako sa previous thread. Tanong ko lang kung widely available ba ang distilled water sa Taipei? I assume oo kasi maraming watsons diba, pero ask ko na rin dito para sure. 😊

Also, ok ba mag stay malapit sa shilin night market? Kurips mga kasama ko this time kaya namamahalan sa almost 1k per night per pax na nabook ko (free cancellation), may nakita ko mura malapit sa shilin. Mga magagandang hotel and hostel na malapit sa Ximen and Taipei stations wala na available sa dates of visit namin. March pa kami pero fully booked na agad.

Planning to DIY our visit sa Shifen. Yung sky lanterns nalang talaga habol ko kasi nga tipid mode ang mga thunders kong kasama haha. Skip na muna Jiufen. Hindi ko masyadong type sa Yehliu.

Re wufenpu, ok ba talaga mamili? I also read mura ang birkenstock doon. Pwede nyo ko bigyan idea sisses kung how much?

^ Nakapunta kami nun sa Wufenpu. If you want Korean/Japanese fashion marami dun, as in super cute ng mga outfits dun, mga tipong one of a kind.  Most of the new arrivals they have medyo pricey for me, dresses range anywhere from 750 to as high as 2500 NTD, t-shirts 300-500 NTD.  Meron din naman yung mga sale items nila, range usually 100-200 NTD, mag tyaga ka lang mag ikot if you really want to shop. May ibang items dun meron din sa Divisoria. One thing to add pala, maliliit size nila.

Yung Birkenstock, sa ABC Mart, Shilin, Raohe meron, price nya mag-less ka ng 1000-1500k pesos sa mga stores natin dito, It would be better if you check on the price of it here para ma-compare mo din.

^Salamat sis. Hala ang mahal pala ng mga damit. Siguro yung mga napapanood ko sa vlogs, mga matyaga mag ikot kasi 100-200 NTD presyo ng mga haul nila. Pinakamahal na ata yung 300 NTD. May napanood din ako nakabili sya shoes worth 400 NTD pero parang yung style na yun nakikita ko sa shopee. Hehe. Around 5k+ yung style na gusto kong birks sis. Thanks sa tip!

nagpunta kami dito kasama my whole family around the same time last year. Sayang lang because the 5 days we were in Taiwan, umulan ng umulan all through out. eh puro pa naman senior citizen ang kasama ko. tinamad na sila mag-gala mashado, kaya puro indoors lang nakita namin.

But oh my, i love love loved the street food. super sarap kahit yung sa mga tabi tabi lang.

we took an airbnb close (as in right in front of) the central metro line, kaya it was super easy to go around, kahit puro senior citizen ang kasama ko.

also, super different the people here from the mainland chinese.

In taiwan, they are not only super polite and friendly, they would go out of their way to help you out. There was a time, i couldnt figure out how/where to buy tickets for the hop on/hop off bus, yung local taiwanese lady na natanungan ko, (while we were waiting in line sa coffee shop), talagang she went out of her way to google it on her phone, tapos sinamahan pa nya ako sa convenience store (a couple of streets away from the coffee shop) where we can buy the tickets, and itinuro din nya kung saan yung pick up point, while my family waited sa coffee shop. hindi lang sya basta nagbigay ng directions. as in naglakad sya and sinamahan ako. and she wasnt one in a million. hindi lang yan yung first instance na may mabait na local sa taiwan. our entire trip there, i really felt as if the locals were super nice and polite and would go out of their way to help.

pati yung mga vendors, may nakaka-english sila and are able to converse with tourists. hindi mahirap to go around.

^depends, sis. Ilan ba kayo gagamit? Pwede ba pang-hotspot yung data ng sim na bibilihin nyo. Mas tipid yung sim kaso mas mabilis maka-lowbatt.

Yung first time na pumunta kami, di kami nagrent ng hotspot kasi sarado pa sa airport, di rin kami nagpareserve sa klook kasi ang tagal pa nila magbubukas e madaling araw dating namin sa airport nun. Wala din kami mabilihan ng sim nung time na yun kaya umasa na lang kami sa mga free wifi sa bus/stations/stores. buti na lang nakapagresearch na din ako kaya di naman namin kinailangan masyado.

nung nagpunta kami ng taiwan ng mother ko, bumili lang ako ng unlimited data sim card sa klook app tapos pinick up ko sa kiosk sa taoyuan airport. 1 am ang arrival namin sa airport at almost 2 am ko na napick up yung sim card because of the long lines in immigration. nasa 300+ pesos yung sim card and highly recommended ko siya kase ang bilis niya kahit nakahotspot pa ang nanay ko. Main reason I chose sim card over pocket wifi is that I don't want to be hassled anymore na dumaan pa ulit sa kiosk nila para isoli ang pocket wifi device. Saka dapat ingatan mo talaga yung device.

Just arrived here in Taiwan and still here in the airport.

Ito pa lang na-experienced ko here or observed:

1.) hindi ganun kaganda airport nila. Im sorry, mejo nag-expect ako na mala-HK or at least KL level ng airport. Baka din kasi yung Terminal 2  ang maganda, sa terminal 1 kasi ako. Hehe!

2.) bawal mag-pic sa loob ng 7-11 dito. I wonder panong hindi nasita yung mga vlogger na napanood ko na na-videohan nila ang 7-11. Hehe!

3.) sa 7-11 dito sa terminal 1 is walang distilled water, puro alkaline po meron. Baka sa city po may distilled water na.

4.) sa foods sa 7-11, masarap yung cheesedog nila in a sandwich, even [textspeak!] hotdog bun is masarap alone. No dressing or whatsoever.

Unexpectedly, nagustuhan ko yung hard boiled egg nila in tea na lasang star anis. Hehe! Or baka gutom na talaga ako. Hehe!

Yung mga kung anik-anik sa mala-shabu shabu nila is hindi masarap for me, lalo na yung 3 bilog na white na naka-tusok, parang styrofoam kinakain ko. Hehe! Pero yung sabaw na pinaghalo-halo ko is masarap.

5.) kalurkey, nang dahil sa lutang pa and pagod plus gutom, kala ko yung coin change machine is pwede magpabarya ng hindi coins, hahaha! Kala ko yung 500 is pwede baryahan ng tig-100, ang binigay sakin is tig-10 coins. Ang bigat-bigat tuloy. Hahaha!

Yun pa lang naman. Malamig ngaun dito and hindi maulan.
