Visiting Taiwan Thread 4

I LOVE TAIWAN!!! I didn't expect that I would fall in love with this country! Went there with my family for a 6-day vacay.  I initially wanted to go there because I want to see the Zhongshe Flower Market in Houli and wanted to visit the Rainbow Village.  When I posted my pictures in IG and FB, my friends were unanimous in saying that the flower garden and Rainbow Village were stunning!

There are a lot of interesting places to go to in Taiwan.  We will be back soon! 

The only negative feedback I can give is that NOT everyone is friendly.  Probably becauseof the language barrier.

^oh did you have a bad experience sis? I only had one bad experience with a bus driver in taichung who screamed at me. hmm..pero a kind guy was sitting beside me and offered to help...

but if may language barrier, I noticed that they literally go from one person to another just to get you the right person though... they walked me to places and to people... guess it's a different experience for everyone.

^ medyo haggard for seniors yung Yehliu, unless they stay in the designated "dupes/replicas" area.

unless you give it mga... 3 hrs siguro so you can do leisurely walk.. kase. malayo yung parking ng bus or car from the Yehliu area with the rocks.. I remember it took my dad 25 mins to walk there... you can go to the left side first, or right side first.. they gave us.. mga 1 hr or 1 1/2 siguro.. hindi enough talaga.. =( nakita lang namin right side =(

Do we need light jacket pag last week of October? We will be there  Oct 27 to Nov 1. Since Autumn yan baka medyo di carry ang lamig?

^It is best to be prepared. I suggest na magdala kayo ng jacket, just to be sure. I remember kasi nung nagpunta kami ng April, spring to summer, medyo chilly pag gabi. If you have checked baggage, bring umbrellas din kasi never pa ko nakapunta dun na hindi umuulan. Be it April, June, May, or January.

^^di naman tumatagal ulan sa kanila. Parang ulan for an hour tapos ok na. Pero yea, sana di umulan sa visit nyo.


^no prob. May nacontact ako sa fb dati, not sure lang if they cater din in Taichung area. Search mo sa FB yung Leo Sen taxi team DIY tour for Philippines. Mababait sila and they speak English din so madali lang magcommunicate. They sent us our pictures from their phone din.

Hi sisses! I have a South Korean visa that was unused and already expired. I am planning to go to Taiwan this coming November so I need to apply for a new visa for this country naman. Ask ko lang if may mga naka-experience na ba dito ng ganitong scenario and how was the Taiwan visa application? Mahigpit ba sila sa unused? Sa airport din sa immigration? Worried ako kasi baka red flag sa kanila yung ganyang case ko. TIA!

sis @IronLady Thanks to you! nag-halo-halo na yung mga nabasa kong thread. Mali ako intindi! Hahaha! Binasa ko ulit yung policy sa website nila and yes. Common question is if need pa ba mag-obtain ng e-visa or certifications/authorizations and clearly stated na no need nga

Exempted pa PH passport sa Taiwan visa. Free entry pa. =)
