^^ my dad spoke so rudely to some of the Taiwanese people because of his tone. I had to apologize all the time, but I've almost all Taiwanese who were kind to me! Only one was horrible, the rude bus driver! ugh. But another taiwanese man on the same bus helped me ASAP!!

Just be kind, just be nice. Be smile and lambing, learn a few phrases to say hi, thank you,please, etc

But if anything, nobody thought we were Filipino! They thought we were Thailander!! if you are in Taiwan and they say "tai kuo" (tai guo in pinyin) theyre asking if you are from Thailand.

I heard Koreans were racist as f* but no korean was rude to me when I was there. They just bump you sa train though lol wapaks talaga sila hahaha

But if there was anything shameful about Filipino tourists, is that theyre so damn noisy everywhere they go!!!! I even said in chinese nalang sa train, sorry those Filipinos are noisy. I am Filipino and I am embarrassed. Should I speak?

Then they smiled, and said no hahaha. The Taiwanese are really sweet and kind people (or good at being plastic! LOL)

Just got back from Taiwan and I love Taiwanese people they are all friendly napansin lang namin ni hubby ang mga pasaway sa TW are the old people that includes bus driver there was one bus driver hindi sya humihinto sa bus stop layo tuloy ng nilakad namin mga oldies din ang mga tumatawid kahit stop.

All in all I love TW this is my favorite country so far, and we are planning to bring our kids next year since extended ang No Visa nila.

Yes I love Taiwanese people, they are the nicest!

And yes, agree it's the old people and the bus drivers. One bus driver yelled at me, no idea why, and one old man yelled at some elementary kids who sat in the disabled seats hhehe

My husband and I are planning to go March 2019 for a 4 or 5 day stay sa Taiwan.  First time namin and I hope mga sis mag share naman ng where to stay, where to go, what to expect, what to buy, where to eat mga ganon, pati prices na rin sana.  We plan on staying sana sa may Ximending area kasi yun ang promise ni hubby sa akin, eat and shop.  Thanks in advance.

We are planning to go to Taiwan this August 22-24. Kamusta kaya yung weather nun? Also, please recommend naman a nice hotel in Ximending na child friendly and sana with breakfast buffet na. I'm pregnant kasi and I'll be traveling with my husband and our couple friend with their 1 year old child.

Since mabilis lang yung trip namin, ito pa lang naiisip ko na itinerary.

Day 1:
Arrival at airport (around 11 am)
Check in sa hotel (hopefully one in Ximending)
Ximending

Day 2:
Taipei 101

Day 3:
Check out for our early flight back to MNL

We went on a weekday, around lunch time kami dumating sa cable car, short pila lang. Pero kung mag ikot din kayo sa Maokong after Taipei Zoo, baka kulangin time.

 I don't think makakapag ikot pa kami sa Maokong. After sa Zoo, magcable car kami and then after that baka balik na kami hotel since may kasama kaming mga bata.

- National Palace Museum: Red Line, then baba ng Shilin Station. Ride bus R30 to National Palace Musuem. Pagbaba ng Shilin Station, nandun lang yung mga Bus30?  May oras lang din ba na nandun yung mga bus?

- CKS Memorial Hall: Red Line or Green Line to CKS Memorial Station. Then walk out to Exit 6. From Exit 6, lalakad na lang going to CKS?

- Go back to Ximending and have lunch at Mala YuanYang. From CKS Memorial Hall, magMRT then Ximen Station?

- From Ximending, paano pumunta sa SYS Memorial Hall?

- From SYS Memorial Hall, lalakad na lang ba papunta Taipei 101?

May schedule yata 'yung bus though minutes apart lang naman. We had to wait siguro mga 5 minutes bago dumating 'yung R30, though parang 2 or 3 buses 'yung papunta/dadaan sa National Palace Museum, hindi lang 'yung R30.

Yes, lakad lang. Paglabas nang station, CKS na agad.

Yes, train to Ximen, pero find the exit nearest to the resto para 'di kayo mawala.

From Ximending to SYS, ride the Ximen Blue line to SYS station.

Pwedeng lakarin from SYS to Taipei 101 but can't help sa directions kasi different days kami nagpunta to both hehe.

I suggest download the Go! Taipei Metro app, sis. Super helpful siya for going around basta alam niyo 'yung name ng stations.
