How's Autumn in Taiwan mga sis? May nakaexperience na ba? We've booked a flight on last week of October this year. Sana ok ang weather because we will be travelling with a 3-month old baby. If it will be pushed through, we will be opting for a relax and laid-back tour lang since may kasama kaming infant. I'm so excited na. It is to celebrate my birthday and first travel namin with our baby. Godwilling

We will be going  to Taiwan this June, we will be staying Fortune Hotel but we do not have any itin on where to go for our 4 days stay..

Hi mga sis na nasa taiwan. Kumusta ba sa taiwan ngayon? May nabasa kasi ako na may nag e escalate na tension because of the us taiwan travel act. Magkakaroon nga yata nang live fire military exercise ang china sa taiwan. May nabasa pa ako na may impending war daw. Nagdadalawang isip tuloy ako kung itutuloy ko pa ang trip ko this May.

Hi mga sisses ask ko lang kung how much ang binayad niyo na Travel Tax MNL-TPE is it still 1620PHP and may babayaran pa from TPE - MNL?

^ Hi sis wala na babayaran na travel tax from TPE-MNL. Sa mga pupunta ng Taiwan I suggest visit kayo sa Taichung Summit Resort.

^ agree, I recommend this place, if you meant "Xinshe" castle. But it was such a nightmare to get here using public transpo. Umiiyak pa ako Buti nalang ang sobrang bait-bait talaga ng mga Taiwanese... I was so touched...

How did you get there? Private car or Taxi? I wanted to save money napaiyak pa ako lechugas. hahaha

I think it's not stated here often, but I was quite amazed by how mabait Taiwanese are. Maybe they're truly not like that, but sobrang na.amaze ako... Very different from all the other countries I've been in. (but not sure how they compare to Japanese people)'

--- edit I saw so many itineraries with Taichung. It's very difficult to get around without a private car / taxi or if you booked a tour. How are you sisses doing it? I got a driver during my first day, 2nd day iyak sa bus hahahahaha

^yes sis i mean the Xinshe castle, bus to Shuijing street then taxi straight to Summit Resort sis - I agree with you maganda ang transportation system nila but nakakalito naman sa mga tourist lalo na pagsasakay ka sa bus kaya minsan no choice but to ride in a taxi ang laki pa naman ng flagdown rate nila 70NT agad I also agree na super bait ng mga locals very approachable yun nga lang some like taxi drivers cannot understand English buti na lang may google translate laking ginhawa

^ yeah yun nga. Sorry for ranting, but Same tayo ginawa sis. Grabe nahihirapan ako humanap sa bus stop from the railway station just for these 4 buses that go to the nearest stop and I think I waited mga 20 mins just for the right bus. This was around 10am-ish
Diba you stop sa may 7/11 and just look for a taxi from there? The taxis were so infrequent and they weren't metered going to Xinshe castle. We paid 200 flat rate ...we ended up walking straight until we found a taxi.. Then pabalik direct from Xinshe to our hotel 700 NTD pff. How did you return sis? Our private driver kase charged us 3,800 and I ended up giving 4,200 because of really good service. Pero this is from 10am to 9PM na...
Another thing to note:
Daxi Old Street - Taoyuan

Mga sis I don't recommend the hassle talaga of going to Daxi.. Kaloka talaga and hindi worth yung travel na 2-3 hours (one way), and riding 2 trains and 1 bus. (1 train if you live near Taipei main station,2 if Ximending)
Regular train - maybe 5-10 mins
TRA - 40-50 minutes
Bus - Another 40-50 mins
This excludes waiting time for the buses and trains which can set you back by another 10-15 mins. Sobrang crowded pa. (went on a Monday) We went mga 3pm...I think na.stress lang ako sa companion ko na madaling mapagod. (56 pa though) Possibly standing ka din during the entire duration...

I missed  the hot springs, tamsui, tainan and taichung. Were they worth visiting?

Girls, let me know you need a super nice, and cute driver in  Taichung. May kilala ako. But don't tell him that I said he was cute ha! hahahahaha nakakahiya. Sabi ng mom ko ang gwapo daw ng driver namin hahahahaha (cute siya mag.side view hahaha) pero di photogenic, speaks English well too, hindi malakas ang chinese accent like Singlish.

I found the souvenir shops to be too expensive, I was shopping around in Ximending, Shilin and Raohe. Saan pala bumili ng cheap souvenirs?

I didn't get to try a lot of Taiwanese food... maybe just the typical pork belly on rice, potato with cheese, the torched beef, milk tea, but nothing outstanding. I really really like hotstar chicken though!! haha

4th time ko na in Taiwan last week, enjoy ko pa rin siya hahaha I guess this time around, friends kasama ko, so parang bago ulit.

We hired a pinoy (chinoy?) driver to take us to Yehliu, Shifen, Jiufen. May side trip din na outlet sa Niehu (which was okay lang). 6000TWD for the 6 of us, okay na siya since from Airport kami sinundo, tapos diretso na kami sa Yehliu. Sobrang nice pa na nagtatagalog si kuya hahaha Ang dali kausapin lol.
