2015 OOT wedding with midrange suppliers and 220 pax, 1.8M

But my sibling spent only 1.3M in 2007 with high-end suppliers pa (including Jason Magbanua) and 450 pax.
Grabe kasi inflation ng rates since then kaya ako di ko na naafford.

Total spend really depends on the budget you're at peace with spending, your standards / desired quality of suppliers, size of wedding party.

April 2017 Wedding in Tagaytay - mid range Suppliers except our HMUA, 700k all in kasama na din prenup. 150 guests. Inabot din kami 1m kasama minimoon (short honeymoon) in Shangri La Boracay and since vacation din namin sa Pinas nung April. We shouldered everything, no monetary help from our parents.

I agree it depends on your budget, priorities, and shempre kung ano ang dream wedding and suppliers mo. Most of the suppliers talaga ay nagtataas per year ng 5-10k kaya mas lumalaki yung budget nung ibang couples, we were lucky enough na ang rates na binigay sa amin ay pang 2016 kasi maaga kami nakapag book We are happy with our wedding, not grand pero masasabi kong na-achieve namin ang dream wedding namin.

^grabe ano? di rin naman inakala aabot kami almost 700k not including the honeymoon na dyan kasi may dumagdag uling gastos lol. pag tinatanong ako ng kamag anak ko ang sinasabi ko ay TBA. tapos basta sinasabi ko baka pag nagpakasal mga anak nila 2-3 yrs from now, milyon na magagastos.

I am getting discouraged to have a wedding ceremony tuloy because of the expenses. How do you guys manage to save for this? We are planning to get married mga 3 years from now but wala pa rin kaming ipon.

^open ka ng bank account for exclusive for wedding funds, tapos each pay day maglaan kayo ng amount ng bf mo na idedeposit doon dapat hindi magmintis example 2k ea ch of you so meron na kayong 4K per month x 12 months around 48K per year. Kung gusto mo mas mataas adjust kayo magkano hulog then tuwing bonus at 13th month pay kung gusto niyo yung buong amount hulog agad example 30K na bonus dapat deposit agad para mabilis ipon. Basta may set na kayo na budget. Kaya yan kasi may 3 years pa.

Nov 2015 wedding, 400k for 150 guests. Majority of our expense was on the venue, accommodation, and food. The rest of our suppliers are budgeted na and we did a few DIYs as well. Personally i think we did well sa budget namin kasi we were very happy naman with the outcome kahit na may mga items kaming tinipid.

^^Share ko lang, we started saving up for our wedding when we got engaged, that's 18 months prior to the wedding. Una namin pinag isipan yung date ng kasal na gusto namin. From there, we computed kung magkanong maiipon namin in the span of our engagement and we stuck to that amount. For example, nagdecide kami to save 10k each month (5k/person) so that's 180k until the wedding. So our max budget should be 180k. So when we were researching and inquiring sa mga suppliers, if hindi sila pasok sa budget, then cross out agad. If ever na may gusto kami (or mostly ako lols) na out of budget, then we would compromise the others na pwedeng bawasan or tanggalin. That will depend on your priorities as a couple.

Roughly 1.1M Tagaytay wedding for 200 pax (excluding honeymoon). We got mid-range suppliers. Our wedding was last year, Feb 2017.  It depends kasi what are your non-negotiables and priorities sis.
We started saving for the wedding siguro around January 2016. We alloted 40% of our combined salary for the wedding fund. We shouldered all the expenses without the help of our parents kaya talagang pinag-iponan namin. Come wedding day, God is so good kasi we received cash gifts that equals to 60% of our expenses kaya mabilis kami nakabawi sa gastos..

less than 50k lang not church wedding sa west lang kami kinasal that was 3 years ago hehe.
pero dream ko beach wedding talaga. 

alam ko karamihan sa chinese wedding almost 80-90% bumabalik talaga yun ginastos nila minsan sobra pa. kasi un SIL ko lagpas 1.3M ginastos perobumalik sakanila lahat nasa 2.2M daw.

Graduated last Oct 2017. Budget namin was 500k-600k sana... But inabot din yata kami ng almost 800k-900k, konting tumbling na lang 1M na. hahaha. Alabang Wedding and with Midrange suppliers (i think. hehe) May mga na-DIY pa kami sa lagay na yan like souvenirs and invitation namin. Overall, sulit naman din ang gastos at pagod kasi nagdeliver naman ng maayos halos lahat ng suppliers namin.

^^ Oo sis, medyo madami kami nareceive na cash gift kasi dun nagbigay yung parents namin since hindi kami nag ask from them during the prep. Tas mga ibang family members at Principal sponsors. Nakakatuwa.
