^ same. I don't find mariel attractive as well. Dinaan lang sa height pagiging beauty queen nya. Mukhang sinadya din i-retoke ang face para mas lalo nya maging kahawig si liza soberano na isa sa mga magagandang celebrities ngayon.

First time natin maka-encounter ng super-outspoken na candidate ano? She had her beliefs, she expressed them. Says it like it is. No palabok, no sugar-coating. And we hate her for it.  Understandable, we all have our 'mold' of how a Pinay candidate should be.

Sa tingin ko naman, hindi sa hindi sya nageffort sa body nya. Mukha talaga siyang big-boned na kahit maghapon magdamag sya sa gym, hindi sya 'papayat' ng Pia Wurtzbach or Kylie Versoza levels. I'm not sure if her face is fit for the usual Ms. International standards though - kung titingnan si Kylie and Precious Lara, they both have this soft and charming aura - not Mariel's which in comparison is more fierce and exotic. She is pretty though.

Her costumes were a bit too 'out there' for a beauty pageant. They probably looked outstanding on the fashion runway, but on a pageant stage? Parang not so much.
