It's almost Halloween! I'd like to know if you have scary things happen in your office that you think could be a ghost/supernatural being?

Oftentimes, I was the last one to leave in our area because I always wait hubby. I already heard lots of "paramdam" stories in our area. (Our dept is located at 3rd floor pero parang mezzanine area namin  , tapos ang pinaka-3rd floor area occupied by other dept). First encounter, may narinig akong sumitsit, pero deadma lang, baka kako si kuya utility na tagakuha ng mga basura, since kabiruan ko na din sya. At dahil curious ako, sumilip ako sa pinto but I found no one. Ang pinakanatakot talaga ko was, when I saw a reflection on the pc monitor that someone passed by at my back, at paglingon ko walang tao. My supervisor just left few minutes ago, like not less than five minutes, what I did was turned the pc off not waiting if it was really off. Naabutan ko si bisor sa lobby waiting for the elevator and asked me why do I looked so pale. Then I told her what happened. Madami pa yan pero mapapahaba na masyado.

It was in 2009, I was working as an HR associate in a BPO company in Valero St. Makati. The building was old, and it was rumored to be a residential house before it was converted to a commercial building. Our receptionist wanted to take a dump but was too shy to do it in the first floor toilet  (it was packed with so many applicants that afternoon) and so she asked me to accompany her to go to the 5th floor toilet. As we were inside the elevator, she began to ask me questions if I heard rumors about 5th floor specifically the toilet. I said I haven't heard anything about it. She said a lot of the guards and some employees swore they often see a ghost of a child and his mother wandering around the area and at times would scare people by coming in the elavator with them. She said the ghost child was sutil and oftentimes pranked employees. I started to become really uncomfortable when we reached the 5th floor. I noticed that there were only a few employees and the toilet was a little bit far from where the offices were located. When we entered the lavatory, it was very cold and empty. We were the only ones who were there at the moment. My officemate checked all of the cubicles first. She entered the middle cubicle while I stayed near the sink and combed my hair. She was very anxious so she began to talk about the history of the building and   told me about the rumor that where we were was the exact place where a mother and a child were murdered in the 80s. I told her to stop her story and talk about something else which she did. We continued our chat as she got out of the cubicle and washed her hands. Then not long after, we heard a flushing sound from one of the cubicles. It is as if someone was in there and flushed the toilet. We stopped talking, looked at each other and suddenly we remembered no one was there except for us. We were so scared that we screamed so loud as we struggled to get out of the lavatory as fast as we could. One of the guards saw us, and he just smiled as if he knew exactly what happened inside. I never visited the 5th floor eversince that day.

Wayback 2008, bago pa lang ako nun dito sa company. may coffee shop sa loob ng building namin. yung mga waitresses naaksidente on the way to work sa umaga. 3 ladies were killed, so hindi na sila umabot sa building. sabi-sabi ng mga kasamahan ko dito sa building eh on that day, nakita pa silang nagdeliver ng coffee sa offices and greeted the employees na nakakasabay nila sa elevator. creepy but true daw talaga

This was during way back. One time, nakalock kasi yung front door nung office, medyo evening na kasi, so I called our front desk, baka meron pang pwede magbukas. So ayun, sumagot yung isa sa mga secretaries namin, she said na bubuksan daw nya. After a few minutes, unlocked na yung door, so pasok na ako. Now, mga an hour later, yung isa kong coworker dumating, tinanong ako kung paano ako nakapasok kasi sya daw kanina he tried the door pero locked. Sabi ko I called ate so-and-so and she let me in. Sabi ni coworker wala naman daw tao dun kanina. Napaisip ako, sabagay, wala naman dun si ate nung pumasok ako sa door and I never saw her later until nung umalis ako a few hours later. But I never gave it much thought after our conversation. Wala naman akong nafeel na creepy vibes.

The next day, si ate so-and-so said wala daw sya kagabi. So ayan na, natakot na si coworker ko! Ako naman inisip ko na baka ibang tao lang, baka nagkamali lang ako to assume that it was her who answered the phone. But another one of our coworkers, may third eye yata, she told me na meron daw talaga syang nase-sense na presence in the office. So...ewan ko lang if that was it.

Though I agree sometimes, nagtataka na din ako bakit wala ako naeexperience na mga ganyan, since madami naman nagshishare sakin, like may 1 bahay ako tinirhan, lahat na ng kasama ko sa house may naexperince, ako wala but I want to believe them, siguro saradong sarado third eye ko or yeah, we're too busy para mapansin mga kababalaghan, like there are times na I can swear that I've already closed the door and lock it, or turned off yung switch ng ilaw, or walang tao, pero pagbalik ko bukas na naman, wala lang sakin, I don't entertain the thought sa loob loob ko baka nakalimutan ko lang, kaya siguro balewala sakin, pero meron na pala haha!

Second hand experience lang meron ako, kinwento sakin nung mga matagal na dun sa company na pinasukan ko dati. Also not sure kung sa office namin or sa office ng client namin nangyari. But here goes.

May employee na pumunta sa office para magfollowup ng final pay nya. Edi pumunta sya sa receptionist, tas tinawag ni receptionist sa HR na merong nagffollow up. So after nung confirmation sabi nya dun sa tao na dumiretso na sa HR. So si kuya G na. Then after a few hours napansin ni receptionist na di pa bumabalik si kuya. Tumawag sya sa HR tas tinanong kung dumiretso ba doon yung lalaki. Wala naman daw pumunta sabi ni HR. So nagtanong tanong sa si receptionist. Kasi baka nga naman san pumunta. Tas nung chineck nila yung CCTV para siguro matignan kung anong itsura nung lalaki at maireport, nakita nila na wala naman palang tao. Si ateng receptionist nagssalita ng walang kausap.

Meron pa isang kinwento officemate ko. NagOT sya mag-isa. Nakahiwalay naman kami ng room kasi payroll, yung tipong de-ID pag papasok. Sa may bandang pintuan sya nakaupo. Tapos medyo antok na din. Biglang narinig nya [textspeak!] knob ng pinto gumalaw, parang may gustong pumasok. E wala naman kaming guard non. Tinulog na lang daw nya. xD

Love reading/hearing about ghost stories. Sa dati kong office, may abandoned 3rd floor dun. Hindi mo nga mapipindot sa elevator yung number 3 eh. Pero may mga nakaka experience daw na pag nakasakay sila sa elevator bigla na lang daw titigil sa 3rd floor tapos bubukas and then ang tagal bago magsara ng elevator kahit pindutin mo yung close door, eh madilim daw dun kaya nakakatakot hehe. Or minsan may makakasabay daw silang babae na dun bababa sa 3rd floor.

Yung building kung san located yung previous company ko medyo sikat na kasi marami ng may scary experience dun, even my dad nung fireman pa siya nainspection daw nila yun at may nagparamdam din daw especially sa elevator.

So ako naman sanay na sa mga ganyan since bata pa lang ako madalas akong makakita at nakaka-sense kaya nung nagstart na ako magwork sa building na yun at kahit magisa lang ako hindi ako natatakot. Mga ilang weeks wala akong naramdaman until one night (graveyard shift) na magisa ulit ako sa elevator, so I pressed 8 since dun yung office namin. Nagulat ako huminto yung elevator sa 2nd floor eh eto yung kinakatakutan ng mga officemates ko kasi wala pang nagre-rent sa floor na yun kaya walang ilaw at imposible na may tao. Pagbukas ang dilim talaga then wala namang sasakay kaya kinabahan na ako.

Then narinig ko may nagha-hum na boses ng babae so nung time na yun pindot na ako ng pindot sa kahit na anong number para lang magclose yung pinto. Hindi na rin ako tumitingin sa paligid ko kasi mirror pa naman yung style ng elevator eh baka meron na pala akong kasama sa loob. Nakailang In Jesus name ako at after 10 seconds siguro tsaka siya nagsara. Dahil sa experience na yan, lagi na din akong may kasama kapag gagamit ng elevator lol

Sobrang goosebumps ako! Eto din talaga kinakatakot kapag sumasakay ako ng elevator or punta ng toilet magisa. Yung makakarinig ka ng mga bulong or hum. Huhuhu.

I also have another experience but this one is less scary compared to my older post. It happened in the last company I've worked at. My cubicle was adjacent to my boss cubicle. May board lang na nagseseparate sa aming dalawa. Imagine yung mga typical office cubicles pero mas mataas lang yung board na pagitan so kelangan mong tumayo kapag gusto mong makita yung kausap mo. Overtime ako that night together with my manager. Late na around mga 1 am siguro. Dalawa na lang kami. Akala ko may kasama ako that time since rinig na rinig ko may nagtatype and gumagalaw sa cubicle niya. So kinausap ko si boss ko, something like "Miss what time ka uwi?" Then no response. So I thought sobrang busy lang siya kasi naririnig ko pa rin may nagtatype. Hindi na ako nagabalang tumayo. Tapos after a few minutes, tinanong ko ulit siya. Walang sagot. Then tumayo na ako, tapos pagtanaw ko sa cubicle niya, wala naman pala siya doon. Nagulat ako. All the while akala ko may kasama ako sa office namin. Natakot ako sobra. Then after a few minutes dumating si boss, and tinaong ko siya kung kaalis lang ba niya or nagCR siya. Sabi niya nagattend daw siya meeting and have not been in the room for 2 hours. Ewan ko lang kung may nagtrip lang ba na umupo sa cubicle niya at magtytype kuno. Haay. Lapitin talaga ako ng kababalaghan.
