Call center agent : commuting tips pagka ungodly hour natapat ang shift?

Hi mga sis! lalo na sa mga nakapag work or currently in BPO industry working as a call center agents.
pasensya na if medyo magulo ako mag explain.

1 year na din kasi akong nakatambay after ko mag resign sa previous work ko e. I tried na mag apply  for back office position, I passed the exam naman at interviews kaso bumagsak ako sa background check then na decline ko na yung offer sakin ng university sa province namin in hopes na dire diretso na talaga ko sa IT firm na yun kaya wala na akong babalikan ganu dto so balak ko mag call center agent muna since mas mabilis daw ang hiring process (malalaman mo agad if pasado ka or bagsak sa interview, etc) dto kumpara sa back office na inaabot ng half a year ang process. paubos na din kasi ang financial savings ko sa pag apply and gusto ko na magka work ulit hanggat hindi pako nakakahanap ng ibang work.

I'm not from Metro Manila pero naka pag OJT na ako at paluwas luwas from here to NCR. pero 8pm lang pinaka late na commute ko usually sa Metro. and kasama na parte ng work sa BPO ang shifting na sched. swerte if 9pm or 11pm ang start ng shift mapaparaanan pa mag commute pero pano if natapat sa ungodly hour like 3am or 4am na hindi matao sa labas pano ang mode of transpo nyo?

ano tips? advice? on commuting at such hours?
I'm from province pa. and balak ko mag rent para hindi na ma-hassle lalo ang pagcocomute ko if ever. medyo nakaka takot din kasi yung mga nababalitaan ko na tinatarget kadalasan ng holddaper tapos napapatay pa e yung mga late ang shifts like CCA and other line of work na ganun ang nature ng pasok. hindi pa naman ako blessed pa na may sariling car sa ngayun. 

-if late ang shift or alanganin like 3am na start. inaagahan nyo ba ng let's say 3 hours early pasok sa office?
car pooling, yeah. i have heard of it pero since magsisimula pa lang ako wala pa akong kakilala syempre kaya hindi sya pwede isama sa equation.

-do you take taxi's esp. grab or uber pagka ganun?

-or you look for a place na madali ma access sa public transpo like bus or jeeps?

-do you brave the dim lighted streets and and ride for a bus that'll take you to your office even at such ungodly hour?

balak ko sana mag apply sa convergys, sykes or telus or kung san ako matatanggap. target ko sanang area sa madaluyong or ortigas.

Nagkaron ako ng work na nag start ng 3am ang shift. Sa Makati yung office namin and taga Cavite ako. Pag ganon, hati yung sleep ko. Uuwi ako samin pag out, sleep onti, ligo then balik office, continue sleep sa sleeping quarters
Few months bago ako nag resign, nag apartment na ko kasama friends, who happens to be teammates, so sabay sabay kami, kahit alanganin oras, keri lang.

I have friends who were in the call center industry and there were times they needed to go home right after their shift in an ungodly hour (3-4am). What they usually do is they hail a cab. But if there is no emergency, they usually sleep in the sleeping quarters for 2-3 hours before going home. Just to make sure that there will be more people on the road when they get out.

Uber (noon) and Grab is best. Ginagawa ko ito araw-araw. If not naman, WFH arrangements na lang.

I don't find tricycles and taxis safe. Yung jeep - kung maraming pasahero OK pa.

Aim to find a job that will pay you the transportation benefit, or let's you do WFH once in a while. Or better yet live near the office.
