Wala pong cure ang JE, so prevention is better than catching the virus. Please read po kung anong nangyayari sa mga tinatamaan ng JE.

Yes. It's expensive but it's still a small price to pay for my baby's protection. Tama nga na JE has no cure and even if the kid survives, the side effects are still really scary.

^Yan ba yung sa FB na less than 3k yata? May post kase pedia ko warning people about fake vaccines eh. The vaccine is 3500 sa pedia ko. Chaka mejo nakakapagtaka na ang dami nilang vaccines jan samantalang pedias all over the metro sobrang limited and waiting. I suggest you verify muna kung real yung vaccines nila.

My daughter had her JE vaccine when she was 10 months old, inexplain ni pedia sa akin the risks of JE, and because it affects the brain it's really serious and fatal. Others daw who had JE na nakasurvive, they were left with many disabilities kasi certain parts of the brain were affected.

Also, pedia mentioned na this is more common sa mga bukid/rice field areas. Since madalas kami sa province, pinavaccine ko na din sya. 3500 kay pedia namin, that was last March.

The vaccine costs between P3000-3500 .  If you are friends with the pedia, I heard you can get it for P2000.  If your child is 17 years old or older, one primary dose lang.  But if your child is younger, one primary shot then 1-2 booster shots within 12-24 months (I think).  I agree that it's highly recommended because of the effects it can do to our children.  Nakakatakot ano?

It's really scary to think na may cases na walang symptoms tapos too late na Sabe nga ni hubby, kung nakakabili ng shoes na saksakan ng mahal, hinde dapat pa namin pag usapan vaccine. Yung 2nd dose ng daughter ko, September 2018.

Sa pagkakaalam ko ay IMOJEV lang ang licensed JE vac sa pinas..kaya sis ingat ka baka fake yan...google muna bago pa-vac.

Hirap kase with unauthorized distributor baka hinde dumaan sa BFAD. May nakita kong parang ganyan sa FB, 2k lang vaccine and sabe nila madame daw silang stocks which is so off.

For me lahat ng vaccine na recommended ng pedia sa anak ko is a must. Hindi ko na pinag iisipan as long as pedia nya mismo ang nag recommend. As long as we can afford it why not? wala akong nakikitang disadvantage ng vaccine (na pedia recommended). Mas marami pang disadvantage kung hindi papa vaccine ang bata.

For JE vaccine last year pa nabigyan daughter ko.
