Dilemma in my Photovideo team

Hi. Sorry to interrupt.

I have the biggest dilemma. My raw video (full video coverage) was missing. Yes! And worst? Yung photovideo team ko mismo ang nakalost nun. He said nawala sa harddrive niya. I dont know how and why! We got married last year, hindi muna namin nakuha because we dont have harddrive. We thought kasi enough na ang usb. We were not informed din kasi na dapat sa harddrive pala. So, i told him, i will send the harddrive (i am abroad nga pala.)

If you will ask why it takes about almost 1 year before namin kunin ang video, simply because the photovid is my friend. Yes. My close friend.  Aside from that, im frequently reminding him about our videos. To keep it for now etc. only to find out na it was lost.

Never pa namin nakita ang video. As in never. What i will do now??😭

May I know kung may pinirmahan kang contract? Kasi usually stated sa contract yun kung ano gagawin nila in case mawala.. Yung edited ok naman? Patry mo pahanap maigi sa friend mo kasi baka nandun lang yun.. Again, so sorry.. I'm sure there's still a way na ma-retrieve yung file.

We dont have contract sis. Yun ang isa pang problema. Since we are friends, i didnt demand any contract and just relied sa mga conversations namin. Trusted naman kasi silang supplier and they are not new in the wedding industry.

all our photos plus the sde are available. Yung full video lang talaga.

Masakit sa loob. I always asked him, "pano yan? Ano gagawin natin" and he is always answering me na ginagawa nya lahat to retrieve it. Its been 3 months but until now, i got no news.

Everytime minemessage ko siya, lagi akong kinakabahan kasi pano pag totally nawala na yun. I dont want to put our friendship at risk but i dont want even na mawala yung video.

Is there any other way pa kaya to retrieve it or my professional ba na expert for fixing things such as this? Im willing to hire.

Awww I see.. Kung 3 months na at wala pa try to talk to your friend about it kung meron ba talaga or wala? Since job kasi nila na ingatan yun. If wala talaga, ask your friend to hire a professional na mareretrieve yung file kung wala siya mahanap, ask help from your friends o sa dito sa forum baka may marecommend sila sayo.. I'm sure kaya pa yun maretrieve, wala na naman impossible sa panahon ngayon.

Saan nya kaya na-save Sis? Was it deleted?
Missing? Missing sa PC nya or HD?

Probe pa until malaman mo what really happened.
May mga HD recovery services if it was deleted.

Hindi mahanap sis. Hindi naman daw nya binura yun. Basta nung isedave nya na sa harddrive namin, hindi nya na makita. 😢

Yes i know sa panahon ngayon malaki ang chance na maretrieve yun. Im even willing to hire professionals na makakasolve nito.

Di ko kasi sure if HD recovery services will cover missing files.
Ikaw lang ba yung client na missing files?

Lambingin mo sis si P/V friend and tell him na you're willing to assist in paying just to recover and scan yung HD niya. Keep us posted.

@daeyan - sorry to hear that sis. There might be a way pa. Have you tried asking help sa mga photography and videography groups sa facebook? Someone might know how to retrieve it.  Hindi rin siguro maiiwasan na may nangyayaring ganyan sa industry ng p/v.

^ Hi sis! I agree na lambingin mo si p/v since friends naman kayo.. Hiring a professional is the best way na para ma-retrieve yun! Wag lang sana "hindin nila na-save talaga yung files" kasi kung na-save at na-delete lang accidentally, I'm sure kaya yun makuha. Fighting!

Sis daeyan - you may want to search for HD recovery services na company or software. Pero best to let a professional handle this.

Sana makita pa and suggest to act now baka mas higher ang chance to retrieve.
