Been searching (and waiting, hehe!) for a new thread.

I am 10w5d today, due on February 8, 2018.

next checkup is on Jul 31 with a new OB. hopefully all goes well, napaka-praning ko pa naman at kung ano-ano pa kasi ang binabasa ko (including depressing things). pero deep in my heart i know ok si baby, and halata na ang bump ko.

mga sis, harmful kaya para kay baby na paulit-ulit na tvs?
kasi i've been hunting for the right doctor pa eh and every time i visit an ob is may tvs talaga.
done it on 4th and 7th weeks. tom, may schedule na naman ako with different ob, so i guess i-tvs na naman. will be 9w1d tom

^ ultrasound naman is just soundwaves and is not harmful kay baby. ako i have a lot of scans to date. 4w and 6w is via tvs, 8w, 10w, 12w, 15w is sa puson na. 4w was when we confirmed yung pregnancy so need talaga tvs, 10w and 15w was because i had concerns, the rest are scheduled.

iba-iba din ang GA ni baby per scan, so sabi pala ng doctor na nagtingin sakin kahapon, kung ano yung unang sinabi daw na due date sakin (which is actually jan 11), yun daw ang susundin. haha.

^weird nga sis, hindi naman sinabi ni ob na pinuntahan ko nung 7W anong due ko. hindi rin pinarinig ang heartbeat kaya gusto ko syang palitan. nung scan ko nung 4W is wala pa nakita sa scan

sumasakit ba likod nyo mga sis? ang sakit ng sakin, nagstart lang nung nagbuntis

^ yang pagcount mo ng weeks ay based sa LMP mo? ako kasi less 1w from LMP yung age ni baby (which might be due to late ovulation), so at my 6w scan (which is roughly at 7w LMP), wala pang nakitang heartbeat nor embryo, yolk sac pa lang. after 2 weeks pa may nakita, so that was on my 8w scan. Nun lang din sinabi kung kelan due date ko.

and yes on the back pain. lalo na ngayon na 2nd tri na. hirap hanap pwesto pag matulog.

^^ Yes, sobrang sakit na ng likod sis. When I had my TVS on the 6w, wala pa din samen pinarinig na heartbeat but it was seen on the scan. But when I had my repeat TVS on the 9w, narinig na namin yung heartbeat ni baby. Nakakaiyak sa sobrang saya , hehe

^ yes, kita lang sa TVS yung pagbeat ng heart. Expected to hear it kasi 7W na hehe.
Ano2 ang prescribed ng ob nyo mga sis? sakin is folic lang

^ Folic acid lang sis, and Enfamama. No vitamins yet pa daw on this first tri.

I am on my second pregnancy. May nakapagtry ba makapag-VBAC sa inyo mga sis? Please share your experience/s. We are really aiming to do VBAC this time. Kaya lang sabi ni OB need daw wag masyado malaki si baby. I am an 8 pounder baby, and my first born too is almost 8 pounder. Ang sarap pa naman kumain, di maiiwasan. Hehe!

Hi momshies! I am 4weeks preggy now and 1st time mom to be.. wohoooo!

I am so excited, and will see my baby in March,the 3rd week or 4th maybe. I am actually looking for a maternity package in qc or cavite that is definitely within my financial capacity. I am planning to apply also as a homebased English tutor so that I can plan on my maternity expenses. Btw, my OB gave me Folart (Folic acid) and OBMax as my vitamins. And its just cheap, 150pesos for 1 week. Congratulations to us pretty mommies!

Ano2 ang prescribed ng ob nyo mga sis? sakin is folic lang

prescribed: kahit anong prenatal vitamins daw. hahaha. tawa ako wala talaga siyang binanggit na brand. tapos tinanong ko kung need ko ba uminom ng mga Anmum or what, no need daw. i started taking prenatal vitamins since january this year. pero folic acid since 2015 pa.

not really super prescribed pero I'm taking: calcium, fish oil, vit E, vit C (dami kasi may sakit sa paligid ko).

Mga mommies, have you done any lab tests on your first tri? Ang dami na palang pinagawang lab tests recently. Tho we haven't done anything yet.

yes sis, sobrang dami. cbc, tsh, sugar, hemoglobin, rbc etc. kung pwd ko lang ipost dito results hehe.

re sakit ng likod, did your ob prescribe calcium kahit hindi pa tapos ang first tri nyo? binigyan kasi ako ni ob

re anmum or other for pregnancy milk, umiinom ba kayo nito? sobrang sama ng lasa ng plain or vanilla, hindi ko kaya. though masarap ang chocolate flavor. hindi naman daw talaga necessary uminom nito

ako naman sa ngayon wala pa. isang blood test pa lang ang inoffer sakin and yun ay for down syndrome risk detection blahblah. so will see by next week if my new OB will ask me to monitor whatever. takot ko yung sugar e, kasi laid off na ko sa metformin since first tri (was taking for more than a year before due to PCOS).

actually ako ang nagtanong sa OB ko if ok lang na uminom ako ng calcium. she said yes naman. and this was during my 10w. takot ko kasi is yung mawalan ako ng ngipin dahil kinukuha nga ni baby ang ating calcium supply.

about sa milk, my doc and friends advised not to kasi additional sugar lang, hence will cause extra weight gain. so mas ok na lang mag-supplements.
