Had food tasting with them during one of the wedding expos this year, sadly did not meet expectations. Overall it was average, with a couple of stand-out dishes (i still remember that truffle soup!), but the fact that they undercooked pasta then was no-no for me. Not sure though how they do during an actual event...

hi mga sis! Just want to ask if kamusta mag officiate ng wedding sa Shrine of Jesus MOA? and may nakapag reception na ba sa inyo sa Event Hall nila, the one na nasa ilalim lang ng church? How was it? Also, kamusta food ng Hizon's Catering? I'm just asking in behalf of my SIL, wedding kasi nila next year. TIA

Hello! Take note lang sa Shrine of Jesus. Mahigpit sila sa mga suppliers. Maraming bawal. Example is sa photo/video... may designated places lang na pwede sila pumwesto. Check nyo din baka blacklisted na dun yung supplier nyo. Nag-baban sila ng mga pasaway na suppliers.

oh i see, sis! actually, sabi ng SIL ko, nung nag initial food tasting sila, pili nga lang daw yung food na okay. pero sila pa rin yung nabook nila since si Hizons lang yung pinaka-kilala among dun sa choices nila na caterers na katie-up ng coord nila. so na-limit din sila sa choices talaga. Kaya ang gagawin na lang nila is mag-upgrade na lang ng menu then [textspeak!] FT daw nila will be on january or march pa. Sana maging okay naman food nila during the day of the event. Yun nga din ang sabi nung kinuhang P/V ng SIL ko. actually, [textspeak!] P/V nila is the same team nung wedding din namin. Nirefer ko lang din. Then nung sinabi ko na dun nga sa church gagawin yung wedding ceremony, nagsabi sila na pa-joke na ayaw nila dun kasi nga ang daming bawal.

Na-limit din yung SIL ko sa pagpili ng mga suppliers. So ang nakuha na lang nila is yung katie-up din na coordinator na nag-offer na rin ng package (OTD coord with Photobooth, L&S, Catering, Host) kahit ang gusto sana nila is yung coord din namin last year. Ang nakakaworry din is wala kami halos makitang feedback regarding their chosen coord. nasa FB page lang nila mga reviews and wala halos sa mga wedding-related pages katulad dito.

Hi 2019 Brides,

I am officially engaged to my fiance! We started planning our wedding for 2019 nung August since it was our mutual decision naman pero iba pa din ang feeling nung nagproposed sya sakin kahit alam na nya sagot ko. Hehe.

Right now I'm feeling overwhelmed. I don't know where to start again. So far eto na booked namin and I don't know what to book next. Advise naman girls.

Hi! Maybe you can start hunting down for your Couturier. For Wedding Dresses kasi, best if you book and start the process at least 6 months before para walang delays on the delivery and the fit is perfect. Puwede mo na din isabay yung sa entourage mo. After that, try mo na mag book ng event stylist/florist mo. After that, you can book yung sa lights and sounds. Hosts and Entertainment din, okay na mag contact na gusto mo. Tanong ka lang ng rates sa lahat para may time ka to compete your budget and haggle

Hi ladies, any suggestions for wedding gown designer who can do a minimalist wedding dress? ie. no beading, lace, tulle, etc...  but the form and make has to be super structured & pulido.  Initially I just wanted RTW and I've been scouring the RTW sections of some bridal shops, hirap ako makakita ng ganitong style

I know if you give designers a peg makakagawa naman sila ng design, but I wanted to know if there's someone who already shares a similar style / aesthetic para I can trust them to  take liberties/be creative, and it will still come out in line with the theme.

Hi! This totally depends on your budget. Also depends on the cut you're eyeing. For form fitting dresses, Boom Sason is really good. For more classic dresses, Vania Romoff is good. You can also check out Beyond White.

Hi, ladies!
Aiming to marry my fiance within this year but we haven't started anything yet. We'll be attending bridal fairs this month and next month, tho. I have also been browsing and doing my research since last year but the fiance wants to get married asap. :O tagaytay (or neighboring) area sana yung Christian wedding namin, for 200 pax.
Nag food tasting na rin ako and wala pa akong nagugustuhan na caterer so far. I am curious if Taverna Catering is good. Also, is it advisable to pour more budget on the event stylist than the coordinator? I'm thinking of hiring an On the day coordinator.

Hoping to get sound and practical advise here.

My fiance is not here in the Phils so I will be doing all the scouting/planning, taga approve lang sya .
We want an intimate civil wedding and i don't know where to start.

Anyway same venue for the ceremony and reception  sana, I have initially checked for Lemuria Gourmet Restaurant, ok naman sya pero do you have other suggestions na same ambiance?

Guests will be less than 50 pax.
and if you could recommend sana ng Wedding Officiant. somebody quoted me ng 20k and i think it is too much.
Wedding Dress designer.. I have initialy checked for Janna Katipunan.

the rest (photographer, Make-up Artist, Florists, event coordinator) is wala pa.

Hi girls!
Got engaged last December lang. We are hoping to push the wedding last quarter of this year. Kaya ba? I've read this thread and as early as 2017 nagstart magprepare karamihan. With how weddings are these days, kailangan ba talaga ng at least 1 year preps? Waaah! Dunno where to start.

Usually one year is enough.. We started booking suppliers for a June wedding sakto a year in advance and for the most part free pa naman mga vendors (naunahan lang kami sa photographer)

But consider lang that December is peak season so best to check agad the availability of the church/venue you want, or if you are eyeing suppliers na medyo sikat.
