Where to find friends!?!

Hi sisses! Ask ko lang, where can I find friends outside of work? Honestly, ayaw ko sa culture sa loob ng office at lalong di ko feel yung officemates ko. I tried my best na kilalanin sila, pero the more I know them, the more I realize na hindi sila yung tipo ng tao na gugustuhin kong maging mga kaibigan. Parang sila-sila mismo kasi nagpaplastikan so ni hindi man lang ako naiinggit sa fake closeness nila sa isa't isa. So my problem now is, where do I find friends? Gusto ko sana magkaroon ng volunteering experience during weekends para makakilala naman ng ibang tao na may common interest sakin. Madalas nalulungkot at nabobore ako sa office kasi wala naman ako makausap ng maayos. I don't trust my officemates. parang they're always out there to bring the worst among other people. Haaay.

Go out and join travel groups.  Marami sa FB or mga umaakyat ng bundok I did that few years ago it is a great way to meet new friends.  I have found a few and one is one of my closest friends until now.  If you want to volunteer naman kythe philippines is always open for volunteers just check out their website.  Meron din sa mga Church like sa SFC -singles for christ they have this cornerstone group na nagtuturo sa mga bata ng english every weekends. 

Just a few questions though:

1) paano mo nasabi na sila sila mismo nagplaplastikan? 
2) how long have you been there para masabi mo na ganun kasama ugali nila?
3) if you are new then maybe try to get to know them baka first impression lang yan then hindi mo na sila nabigyan ng chance to get to know them well.
4) sa age level ba mas matatatanda sila sayo at wala kang ka age level dun kaya wala ka makausap?

Ask ko lang sis, asan ang mga friends mo outside work? Like college friends etc? Siguro just try to hang out with them na lang. ako din naman noon i didn't  really have office friends. 2 lang naging kaibigan ko and nung wala na sila, wala na ako sinasamahan masyado sa office, pero sumasama pa rin naman ako pag may nagyaya mag coffee or drinks minsan after work, pampa destress na din, pero pag weekends it's off limits sa kanila haha hindi talaga ako sumasama pag off ko kasi hello kasama ko na sila araw araw noh.  Tsaka hanggang officemate lang talaga tingin ko sa kanila. But i do try to be friendly with them pa rin naman. Yun nga lang i set boundaries. So pagtagal nasanay naman sila hehe

Anyways if you want to meet new friends, get a hobby siguro? Sign up somewhere. A foreign language class perhaps? or baking etc.. something of your interest talaga para you get to meet other people who has the same interests as yours.

Mahirap nga yan, sa dati kong work wala din akong gustung kaibiganin kasi puru materialistic and mayayabang.. pero nakahanap din ako ng makakasundu ko nung nagtagal tagal.. if wala ka talaga mahanap na magiging friend.. sis try to enroll to classes or have other hobbies. Ako dati I enrolled sa UP french language class, met different persons and mababait naman. Ensure mo lang na gustu mo [textspeak!] eenrollan mo or gagawin mong hobby para pareho kayo ng mga interests and madame mapag usapan.
