No, I don't want my relationship to be posted on social media unless we are married.

Well girls like attention..Also girls have a lot of insecurities and flaunting bf on soc med makes them feel secured so I think that's why. Hehe.

A friend of mine, she started posting photos of her and her new beau kasi daw her other friends (who she does not see often since she works abroad) wants to see him. Otherwise, she doesn't prefer to show it.

Personally, I post photos just for the sake of documentation, remembering we did what where but I limit the audience to just family/close friends and just 1 or 2 photos.

Some people post to show off.

Just different strokes for different folks.

Validation for most girls. But as we age, nagiging "pffft, big deal!" na lang ang ganyan.

Para the world can see his face and off limits na ang iba!

I agree din sa reason na nabanggit on flaunting. Just like travels.

For me, di naman kasi ako soc med. mas active pangako dito.

Too pabebe na for me ang posting/tagging pics or quotes. Bakit? Ano nangyari? Saan na yung ex mo?"

I had an officemate before na mahilig magtag ng pics and quotes sa bf niya, kapag di ni-like or nagcomment si bf nagagalit si ex-officemate kay bf.

It was an issue for me because I could see that his brother would be posting pictures of his wife once in awhile, putting her in a pedestal whereas ako, wala talagang update sa facebook niya about me.  Guess what, my instincts were right, and he was with multiple women.  As in prostitutes pala, I dont know what happened that it had to turn out that way.  I'm not saying its the same for you.

Depends how important social media is for you. Iba iba tayo ng situation, but if I'm in your shoes, the most important thing that I will consider dapat alam ng family and closest friends namin na kami. If I am confident and assured na wala kalokohan si BF the soc med posts won't matter to me.

Now its a totally diff ballgame if talagang private masyado si BF mo na kayong 2 lang nakakaalam na mag BF/GF kayo.

In real life I prefer not to post pictures of my BF and me together. Tag tag lang sa mga funny posts kasi I'm a single mom, working here in UAE where I met my BF. Although alam ng daughter ko, out of respect for her feelings (kasi ayaw nya na magka BF ako at all) hindi kami nagpoposts. Even yung "relationship with", walang ganun. Alam naman ng both our families, friends here sa work so for us its ok.

People post photos kasi they feel they have an audience that they need to cater.

This is so cheap pag gusto lang mag relationship goals na image. Or para hindi maloko. He's not worth it kung socmed pa mabubuko na babaero pala. Ang babaw lang.

It's ok to announce and post on select occasions, pero it's a no-no kung ginawang love diary ang FB.

Mas malala pati away nakapost sa fb then the next day sweet sweetan na ulit.

I don't mind seeing  couples posting their sweet moments together. I love seeing positive things on my FB. Hahaha. Basta huwag lang yung mga cringe and super private moments like talking about sexy time and all (though I haven't encountered one yet). Spread love not hate ika nga nila.  ;D

a lot of people do, so once your bf doesn't post about your special moments, its a red flag :)  it's not about bragging, you know how people are now a days.

Kami, we're not even FB friends or any of our social media accounts.  I don't feel like stalking him or being too aware of everything he does everyday. I chose to trust him because that's pretty much what I can do right now.

^why has he not added you on fb or anything like that? It?s not about you stalking him, hindi ba siya curious about you?

I guess to each it?s own, but in my case most guys kahit i haven?t met yet or kaka meet pa lang they want to add me sa fb whether foreigner or pinoy. I guess they want to see what i?m about. But i delete them pag hindi na kame nag uusap unless i still want them in my fb. And i rarely post anything anyway, most of my pics there are tagged by friends.

^I haven't asked and we never talked about our social media accounts. No, what I mean is that I personally don't want to have too much information shared between us yet. Unless he wants to but I might put him in restricted anyway... LOL!

We're older people and he's a guy. We know that what we project in Facebook is mostly for show. We don't put every little details in there. If he wants to know more about me, I am just a text away and 15 minutes drive. He said, people doesn't have to know every single details of his daily life. Maybe for girls daw oo, but guys aren't really into that.

Also, he's maybe being careful kasi yung ex nya na Pinay, pinagte-text yung mga dati nyang GFs. Naloka nga ako....lol! It doesn't bother me that we're not. If he tells me his intimate feelings and frustrations and anxieties in life, that is better than access to his social media accounts.
