Proposal ideas

Hi FN members,

I have been browsing this forum many times now because my girlfriend and I are planning to get married late next year. Yes I am a guy! Unfortunately, hindi pa ako nagppropose kasi my girlfriend is sometimes magulo. First gusto niya simple and intimate lang then biglang gusto with people around and videos / photos included. Okay lang naman sakin with people and videos around. My idea is a simple dinner then a few common friends about 2-3 persons na pwedeng tumulong sa pag-setup or some musicians na din. Can you gals suggest me some venues preferrably yun maliit lang so we can setup hours before and basically mag-dinner na rin kami together with our common friends. Hopefully in QC lang. Thank you sa mga magssuggest!

Just my opinion, stick with what you want nalang siguro  ;). besides i don't think she wouldn't say yes or love you less if hindi masunod yung ineexpect nyang proposal. sa restaurant naman, how much budget and what cuisine ba would you like to have? madami sa may morato area pero iba iba kasi inooffer nila na vibe (and type of food) eh

Always have back-up plans. When I proposed, it was supposed to be in a different place but everything ended well.

I think it really wouldn't matter where or how, as long as you keep it as a surprise and you're both ready for a lifelong commitment.

hi dethrone!  sweet of you to make a formal proposal even if you are already talking about wedding plans.  i used to think this is not so important, but later on i realized it made me appreciate my (now) husband more.  when times are tough at nabubwisit ako sa kanya (LOL! married life :) ), i go back to that memory.  Years ago, but it still gives me that warm feeling all over.

The proposal is your call.  Be it grand or simple, ikaw ang magdedecide nyan hindi si girlfriend.  She can only drop hints on how/what she wants it to be.  One important thing though, and what usually makes it awesome, is the element of surprise.

I got proposed to at the Chapel of Pinto Museum years back.  May 3 friends lang na kakutsaba.  Wala akong ka idi-idea.  Sinita pa ko ng guard kasi sinisilip ko yung closed chapel, not knowing that the set up was for me.  Looking back, I just wished I was better dressed. for the pictures, you know (kasi naka shorts lang ako!).  So yun, i am sure your girlfriend will appreciate it kung kahit surprise, eh she's  ready for the photo ops.

Why not at your fave resto? or where do you usually hang out? Or hijack a friend's birthday (Lol!) para she's dressed appropriately na din (on second thought advise the friend na din of your plans. haha).  There are a lot of intimate cafes/restos in Timog or even near Horseshoe village (Lemuria).  But don't limit yourself to restos.  The more unlikely, the better :)

Goodluck!!
