were planning to go to HK this January for my dad's vacation (OFW po kasi daddy ko and bday niya next month,)

1. wala pa ko makuhang murang ticket, walang seat sale. baka ang bagsak namin sa mahal na price na. may suggestion po ba kayo?

4. last, saan po ako pwede magbook ng Hotel na mura lang and maayos naman. yung pwede po mag-papencil book muna since hindi pa kami makakuha ng exact date namin sa January. abangers pa din na may mababa.

Please help mga sis. gift ko po kasi sa father ko yung travel namin sa HK. TIA

We stayed in Golden Crown before when we went to HK since its location is very convenient then dalawa lang naman kami ng bf ko. Since you're going with your family, okay din daw ang Safari Guesthouse sa Chungking Mansion. Hindi lang ako sure sis kung naga-accept sila ng pencil booking.

^Sis how?s the environment sa paligid ng Safari Guesthouse? Hindi ba nakakatakot ambiance ng Chunking Mansion? Ang daming murang guesthouse sa Chunking kaso parang di daw safe.

^ Read a lot of horror stories regarding Chungking Mansion nung nagse-search pa lang ako for our HK trip but based on my friends experience, puro okay naman yung feedbacks nila especially about Safari Guesthouse. Then we also went to Chungking nung gabi na since we wanted to explore the so-called shady side of HK, ang daming shops and restaurant kaya naaliw pa nga kami eh lol Madami pa rin naman tourist kaya hindi nakakatakot.

Para kasi saken every unfamiliar place you visit, you just always need to be alert at don't go out alone dun sa mga lugar na medyo delikado.

Search for accommodations in Chungking Mansion then read the reviews about that specific hotel or guesthouse para you'll have an idea kung okay ba talaga or hinde.

^Thanks sa feedback. Sobrang mixed kasi ang reviews sa Chunking kaya nakakalito. Siguro kung kami lang ng son ko ang matutuloy we?ll stay away sa Chunking pero if ever makasama bf ko baka pag-isipan ko. My bf wants us to stay sa MongKok area naman pero sayang din kasi yung fee thousands na difference sa room rates, pwede pa pandagdag sa shopping budget yun.

mga sis pa suggest naman po ng ITI please, interested in this places, DL, OP, NP,MACAU, shopping eat and dine. Wala pa rin kami accomodation.

Sisses if I may, as much as possible stay away sa Chungking Mansion. Iba talaga ang vibes dun. Nagpunta kami dun sa ground floor palang, papasok palang ng entrance kasama ko kid and husband ko. Lumabas agad kami. To think na sanay ako sa mga ganitong lugar. Iba iba kasing nationalities nakatambay dun sa baba dun. Tapos aggressive sila sa mga bulong bulong nila.  Unlike sa Mirador Mansion wala namang bumubulong bulong sa amin dun. Wala ding nakatambay sa baba.

Sa mga pupunta, try niyo din i-feel para naman hindi sabi-sabi lang di'ba?

^Ayaw ko ng may bumubulong-bulong, feeling ko dinadasalan ako. Mas ok pala sa Mirador Mansion compared sa Chunking.

^ Pero yung hitsura ng building and entrance almost the same lang sis. Since may kasama kang bata mas okay na daanan niyo na lang to if you really want to explore then try niyo na rin yung Cafe de Coral sa CKE Mall for cheap HK food

regarding Mirador mansion vs Chungking mansion, much better talaga is sa Mirador mansion mag-stay. as i mentioned previously, we tried to explore Chungking mansion one time and sa ground floor pa lang, nadiliman na ako and iba feeling ko kaya labas kami agad. good thing we chose to stay in mirador during that time and also parang few weeks prior our HK trip, may nabalitang may na-rape na Chinese national in one of the guesthouses in chungking. nag-stay daw sa parang dorm stype hostel in chungking and black (sorry for the term if this is foul but i cannot think of any word to describe) daw nang-rape, not sure what nationality naman.

okay naman mag-stay sa mirador, mixed races nakatambay sa baba because either emplyee sila ng stores dun or sila mismo may-ari and sa gabi may mga police or guards sa ground floor ng mirador.

Hi mga sis. thanks po sa mga tips. will check na lang po sa cebupac. parang mataas po sa AirAsia,

may other question po ako. before kasi ang binook namin ni hubby na hotel is Shamrock Hotel. very nice hotel kasi malapit lang din sa MTR station and malinis yung place plus free breakfast nakuha namin na deal. tanong lang po kung meron po ba kayo ma-suggest na mababang rate with free breakfast din? medyo pricey ngayon yung sa Shamrock. gusto sana din kasi ng parents ko yung may breakfast na para di namin problemahin kakanin sa umaga diretso larga na agad. Were back from our 5 days trip to HKG - Macau. We really enjoy ni BF kasi first time namin na mag HKG ng Dec. Christmas spirits lalo na sa Disneyland. Lucky us kasi naabutan pa din namin ang fireworks sa disneyland. Heared na starting 2018 nakahold na daw ang fireworks. Though hindi pa ganon kalamig kasi end of Nov kami to Dec 3. Pero sa The Peak ang lamig, pumapasok sa suot ko yung lamig. We stayed in Atlas Guesthouse nga pala, ok naman yung room. yung good for 2 kami, maganda yung CR nila, yung bed, kasya ang 3. Madalas wala yung tao sa receptionist pero nameet naman namin and filipina sya.  Location is great. Building is tapat mismo ng bus stop ng A21 and sobrang near sa Tsim Sha Tsui station. We loved the transportation in HKG. Sana same din ang Philippines.

^ The transportation is one of the reasons why I love HK. Ang efficient talaga tapos March kami pumunta before kaya naabutan namin ang cold weather Lakas maka Baguio feels lol

berryprincessy You might want to check out Evergreen Hotel sis. It's also in Jordan area and comes with free breakfast. Another tip, use agoda to check the affordable hotels plus there's also an option na you can see hotels that offer breakfast and other option like you will pay once you arrive at their premises.

Also, may nakita po ako sa klook na for rent ng 3G/4G wifi for only Php117 lang. yung PhP117 po ba yun lang ang babayaran namin kahit na if ever 4days kami sa HK or per day po yung rent na yun?

before po kasi all attractions na-book ko sa golden crown  kaya magta-try po ako sana sa klook ngayon. okay po ba? any tips po? TIA ulit mga sis

Kahit host namin sa Mirador Mansion sabi stay away from Chungking Mansion. Madami daw ginagawa doong alam niyo na. Very safe talaga sa MM kasi may CCTV ang mga elevators dun tapos may guard 24/7 at naghigpit na mismo ang building sa mga tenants. Binasa ko kasi mga rules, advisory saka regulations doon sa bulletin board. 

Pero if nagtitipid tapos all boys naman pwede naman sa CM kasi de hamak na mas mura talaga ang rooms dun kesa MM.

^one of the places in hk that tourists should avoid lalo na kung 2 lang kayo tapos parehong female. Punta ka lang sa chungking for money changing kasi rates are better. Tapos labas ka agad..katakot dun eh. Lots of negative reviews. Ambaho pa ng amoy ng hangin dun. Hate ko yung amoy-curry eh. Nasusuka ako..

HK imo will always be one of those places na kahit ilang beses mo na napuntahan eh mage-enjoy ka pa din talaga. Parang bumalik ako sa pagiging bata nung nandun kami lalo na sa Disneyland haha.
