sis iceylicious, hindi po maulan. We just arrived yesterday. Since Sunday up to yesterday maaraw siya. Perfect weather for me, hindi mainit and hindi naman malamig. Weather was cool, perfect for walking around.

Update on our trip:
- I think I asked here a few months ago if it was okay to travel hindi kasama father ng daughter ko. Me lang and her, walang naging problema sa immigration. Wala rin tanong sa amin.
- Third time ko na sa HK. Stayed in TST sa previous visit, this time sa Hotel 108 kami sa Mongkok. Super love this hotel, its quite new and the best ang pillows nila!!
- Food, ang mura ng food around this hotel, 2 minutes away from Fa Yuen Street (sneaker street) sa Mongkok. Average ng food namin ng daughter ko was below $50 hkd per meal per person. Breakfast solve na sa bread sa bakery and milk sa 711. 10 mins walk to Yau Ma Tei MTR, around 5-7 mins walk to A21 bus stop.
- Sushi express sa Fa Yuen street sobrang sarap and ang mura. For 6 pieces of salmon sushi its $20HKD and solve na for dinner. Twice kami ngtake out dito and we just ate it sa hotel.
- Good buy is Reebok snow boots for my daughter since we're going to Japan winter season this Dec. From $399 to $199 na lang. Super cute and may sizing sila.
- HongKong  Science museum, sobrang enjoy daughter ko and free pa ang entrance since it was a Wednesday.
- Current exchange PHP to HKD is 0.15 at Chungking Mansion.
- H&M and Uniqlo some stores have sale prices some don't. Best sale items are at Causeway Bay, got long sleeve shirts for my daughter at $35 HKD, other branches had no sale and price was at $50 HKD.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. No Disneyland or theme parks. Puro lakad lang, eat and shop a little.

Hello sisses!  I'm planning an HK vacation with my family on November 2018 pa naman.  Pero as early as now, I'm researching na to plan our itinerary and also the spending.  Our group will be composed of 2 senior citizens (my mom and dad), 2 kids (2 year old, and 7 year old boys), and 4 adults (myself, hubby, helper, and my sister). 

I'm planning to book na lang for 3 days 2 nights at Disney Hollywood Hotel, para no-brainer and since the vacation is for the kids naman.  Kaya lang na-realize ko, maganda rin sigurong makita ang ibang tourist spots sa city par sulit din ang lakad namin.  What do you suggest mga sisses?  We book one more night outside of Disney Holywood Hotel?  Or we go there na lang at night and take the MTR?  My last visit in HK was 7 years ago pa and it was an incentive trip from our company so I was not involved in planning.

^ Go there at night and take the MTR sis kasi everything in Hong Kong is accessible naman so no need to check in sa ibang accommodation. If you want to go dun sa hindi na kailangan magbayad then better go sa TST area. You can visit the Avenue of Stars, Kowloon Park, Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront, Harbour City, Nathan Road Area and have IG-worthy pics na rin hehe. For pasalubong naman or for bargain shopping, go to Mongkok for Ladies Market or Jordan for Temple Street.

I'd also like to ask kung anong tip para hindi masyadong magastos ang meals in HK.  Most of my friends' feedback eh, ang mahal raw ng meals.  1 meal is 100 HKD na raw good for 1 person lang.  Any suggestions?

Woah 1 meal for 100HKD? Baka naman sa expensive restaurants talaga kumain yung mga friends mo sis kaya ganyan yung price pero kami naman before ng boyfriend ko around 50-80HKD lang per meal and it's already for the two of us.

Here are my recommendations for budget-friendly restaurants/cafe in HK:
1. Tim Ho Wan, Sham Shui Po
- They are the world's cheaperst Michelin-starred restaurant but their food is quite delicious! We ordered Baked Bun with BBQ Pork for only 18HKD/3pcs, Steamed pork dumpling with shrimp and beef dumpling with egg. Total is around 60HKD. Must try talaga when you're in HK.

2. Australia Dairy Company, Jordan
- We went here for breakfast then ang saken is scrambled egg on toats for 17HKD ata yun then sa bf ko naman yung breakfast set which is 33HKD. Super yummy ng scrambled eggs nila and to think na we only paid 60HKD for all the foods. Naging heavy breakfast na tuloy lol

3. Cafe de Coral, Chung King Mansion TST
- This is like their local version of fastfood. Very cheap though nothing special naman dun sa kinain namin na food. I already forgot the price but usually sa CDC nasa 20-35hkd lang naman. We ordered Baked Porkchop with rice and Shrimp Wanton Noodles.

4. Paisano's, Granville Road TST
- They serve big pizza like S&R and yung slice set nila starts at 30hkd. Cheese and pepperoni are my faves!

^Maki-thank you ako sa recommendations mo sis. Sobrang useful nito. Hindi na kami mapupurga sa mcdo, kfc and 7/11. Halos lahat ng nakausap ko yan mga nabanggit ko ang nirerekomenda para sa budget friendly na meal. Sayang naman if nasa HK tapos mcdo and kfc lang kakainan namin.

Sa mongkok area eat kayo sa mga  carinderia style restos kung saan maraming locals. Some don't have an english menu what I did was picture the food item and show it. Nagkaintindihan naman kami. Average meals is less than 50HKD per person. Drinks not included. If with drinks around 60-70 HKD.

Kami nga budget ko $35/meal per person lang kami. Though 3 days namin theme parks, 2-day sa DL so no brainer ito but to buy yung meal voucher nila, 1 day sa OP meal voucher pa din, pero kapag wala kami sa theme parks ganyang budget ko swak naman. Yung Pepper Lunch dun nasa ganyan presyo $34-40 ang per sizzling plate. I also love checking local eateries, but check lang since kasama ko anak ko hindi kami nagkakain, pero kung ako lang sana okay na din. May mga around $25-$40 sila mukhang masarap pa naman. 

But if you have money to burn, why not coconut.

You're welcome mga sis! Budget traveler kasi kami so as much as possible dun kami sa makakatipid pero sulit pa din. Mas okay talaga na mag try kumain sa mga local restaurants para naman maiba since nandun ka na din lang sa country na yun hehe. Though wala rin namang problem if sa fastfood like Mcdo atleast you can compare kung ano bang mas masarap

Sa Jordan at Mongkok marami din kainan kaya hindi kayo mahihirapan sissies.

We?re planning to stay within Mongkok area para malapit sa kainan and shopping area. Budget traveller din kami hehe. DL and OP meal ang medyo budgetan ko since may bata akong kasama, bibili na lang ako ng meal voucher.

^Kasyang kasya yan. Since my child kang kasama I suggest kung may check in baggage ka naman magdala ka ng mga snacks na gustong gusto ng anak mo. Ganyan kasi ginawa namin eh. From Pinas yan ah? Para kapag napagod na yung anak ko sa gala at nag-ask ng snacks kuha lang ako sa bag ko.  Very useful din ito sa mga theme parks, kasi yung kinuha namin yung meal vouchers nila (lunch and dinner) Nakakapagod din kasi mag pila pila.

^sis swtgrl_bee where did you buy meal vouchers of DL and OP? Saan may mura? Okay ba sa klook? One of my officemates suggested meal vouchers for sale sa airport upon arrival in HK. Mura rin daw.

^Sis sa Klook ko lahat kinuha na eh, may promo kasi sila before na kapag ganitong total ang nakuha mo may discount na malaki. I compare lahat ng nag-ooffer nitong March sila talaga ako nakakuha ng biggest discount. Try mo din mag mock booking. Sayang nag B1T1 sila few days go.

Ask mo din office mates mo saan at magkano yung sa airport baka naman mas mura nga talaga. Sulit na sulit ang meal voucher sa DL kasi ang mahal mahal talaga ng food dun.

Hirap naman kasi B1T1 offer sa Klook, paunahan din parang promo airfare. Nakakainis yung iba kasi di naman maga-avail tapos makikipag-unahan pa.

Hi mga sis. Ask ko lang sa mga nagtravel with their kids. Anong dala niyong stroller? 4y/o yung son ko, prob ko is baka mapagod siya maglakad. Mahilig pa naman siya magpakarga. Nagdala ba kayo stroller?  Yung stroller na siya malaki, bulky naman kung dadalhin ko siya. Meron ba kayo travel stroller na maisasuggest yung mura lang sana. Thank you

^ sis cutemama, we travelled to HK last Sept with our 3 year old son and brought our chicco stroller liteway. Although umbrella type siya, medyo mabigat pa din (7kg). But, ayun nga, gamit na gamit naman. Di ata kami magsurvive sa HK ng walang stroller, kasi same din yung ng anak ko, pag pagod na, karga na. May nakita akong stroller na for travel, GB pockit yung pangalan. 4.3kg lang, easy to fold and even kasya on overhead compartment ng airlines. Could carry up to 25kgs. Yun lang, medyo pricey pa din siya (10K php) , kaya plan namin ibenta old stroller, para kahit papano bawas gastos.
