December 30 2018 bride here and umuusad na din ang prepss.. nakapag down na sa photo and video namin and otd coord.. venue and caterer nalang and wedding gown designer!!

January 2018 b2b here. Halos lahat ng major suppliers booked na. Suit na lang ni groom and entourage dress/suits ang major na kulang for me. Happy preps, everyone!

August 2016 pa kami nag-start magbook kaya medyo madami nadin nabook.

Hi everyone For the ones who have already had their weddings at caleruega, may I ask the following questions?


1) is there a wheelchair ramp that leads from parking to the transfiguration chapel? Or basta is there a way for guests in wheelchairs to access the chapel without having to climb a flight of stairs?

2) how many cars can the church accommodate? Nung nagpunta po kasi kami to reserve, parang sobrang pandemonium and masikip.

3) I know the websites say na 150 guests can fit inside the chapel, but realistically, when you had your weddings, ilan po talaga ang nagkasya comfortably?

4) I know the area is breezy and cold, but kapag marami na po tao sa church, hindi naman po ba nagiging masyadong stuffy and mainit? I know april weddings are hot kasi, and I've seen pictures na sobrang pinagpapawisan and nagpapaypay mga guests. We're having ours in August/September  naman so hopefully malamig na naman by then

5) nakakapasok po ba sa church area kahit mga hindi guests when a wedding is ongoing? Parang may pic po kasi ako nakita online na someone posted a picture of a couple, captioning it na hindi niya kakilala yung couple but congrats.

6) do they really not allow personal vows anymore? 😭 Or kapag kumuha ka ba ng own priest mo, it depends on your priest if he will allow it?

7) is Fr. Allen de Guzman still assigned to Caleruega? Can we still request for him to officiate our ceremony?

@yn061515 , January 22 kami. Nakatyamba ng 3pm sched and around Nov 2016 kami nagbook.

@ysabel130, those are very good questions! Sana may makasagot din na iba dito sa GT.

For #5, I think yes. Kasi nung nagbook kami ni h2b noon, nakapasok kami ng chapel while may ongoing na wedding. Although, medyo agaw pansin din kami kasi we were wearing casual attire. Reason ko naman kaya ako pumasok is gusto ko din makita yung loob kahit saglit lang.

Have you guys considered the tent chapel?
Nabasa ko lang sa w@w na 1 b2b na doon ang wedding nya kasi wala ng available slot sa main church. 9am kasi nakuha namin sa main church pero kung may available pa ng aftenoon sa tent chapel, we might consider it also. Ang konti kasi ng pics pag sinesearch ko sa google.

@Jet'aimeMelai, wala na Ang nangyari pa nga nun is we called prior to going to the chapel. And nung pagtawag pa lang namin nung Nov 2016, booked na lahat ng 3pm slots for January except for Jan 22. Kinonsider na din namin sya since 22 ang monthsary din namin (anniv is June 22 hehe).

@yn061515, naisip ko na din yan. Kaso if I remember correctly. Ang layo ng lalakarin from main entrance going to the tent chapel. Baka umangal ang guests. Pero I really love that place! Parang napa-exclusive.

^ spoke with the lady from caleruega yesterday and nasabi nya na pag sa tent chapel, iba yung main entrance, hindi yung sa main chapel so mas accessible sya kung tutuusin. I also asked my coordinator (Ayie) for her thoughts on the tent chapel and according to her, mas accessible sa mga elderly at P.W.D tsaka maganda din naman. Tsaka mas malapit sya, according to her, maybe dahil may own entrance nga. Try to consider and check on this too.

March lang nagpalipat ako ng date to January 14 for 3pm slot. this year yung date na pina-book namin,pero yung nakuha namin na date di ko gusto,di na kase available anniv namin.then na-inspire ako to ask a calendar ng January, then open yung 3pm ng January 14.Birthday month ko and anniv date namin.sobrang nakakatuwa! if it's meant for you, makukuha mo talaga sya. 🙂

hi, april 2018 b2b.. booked our date last oct 2016 pa, pero 8am na lang available slot kaya go na rin.. ok din naman ang morning wedding wala pa siguro masyadong tao na bumibisita ng mga ganung time.. happy preps satin.. 😊

hi girls! need your tips in processing wedding requirements in Caleruega. meron pa bang separate thread for requirements? OFW kasi si h2b kaya gusto namin ma-process requirements ng tama sa panahon.  pls share your thoughts kung saan n'yo balak mag Pre-Cana seminar. pwede ba 'to gawin as early as possible?

nalaman ko din from my supplier na kapag priest is from Caleruega, they don't encourage personal vows. kaya depende sa makukuha nyong priest ang discretion for personal vows.

^ About Pre-Cana, my friend is getting married this friday na sa Caleruega din. Tip nya kung ayaw nyo ng mahabang pre-cana, have it done at San Sebastian Church in Manila. 3hrs lang daw tinagal ng seminar nila.

Hi girls.

We just recently covered a wedding in caleruega (10am wedding). Il just answer a few of the questions here.

YES. Masikip. Mainit. Medyo crampy sa loob. Kaya be ready. Magpahanda ng water/pamaypay ganyan sa coor.
The chapel is open to the public kaya people will usually intrude. Kahit during the ceremony. Medyo nainis ako sa part na to kasi nakaharang sila sa shoot.
Medyo hirap yung guests pag-akyat. May parang ramp sa kabila ng retreat house pero it's still cobbles na wala lang stairs. So nope I don't think friendly siya sa elderly.
About sa tent chapel, yup I think ang entrance nito mas direct to the chapel. Mas airy dito and lakas maka sanctuario.
For me mas ok siya. Mas maganda din lighting dito kasi open maraming light source.

Personally ang favorite ko sa Caleruega ay door effect sa entrance ng bride. Sa tingin ko that's the difference from tent chapel.  May ideas na ba kayo how to make your guests comfortable during the ceremony?
