27th week ko na now. Hindi kami inadvise ng OB ko na magpa-CAS since okay naman lahat ng lab tests and ultrasounds mapapagastos lang daw kami. Tiwala naman kami sa OB ko. So di ko na ininsist.

Meron ngang iba sis na hindi na nag pa pa CAS. Depende din sa recommendation ng OB. Since sensitive start and pregnancy ko at nagka UTI pa ko at 2nd month, ok na din na nagpa CAS kami.

Sis bollin_pop, 1,400 yung CAS ko pero taga Bulacan kasi ako.

Hello mga sis! May Smart Parenting convention on July 29 and Baby Expo naman on September 2-3 (I already registered online sa baby expo). I don't plan to buy baby stuff until I'm in my 7th month so sakto sa Baby expo.  Both will be held in Megamall. Not sure pa kung aattend ako sa July 29. For first time moms, are you planning on attending parenting/birth classes? My OB mentioned na no need to attend yung mga may bayad na seminars, she gave me a schedule ng mga free seminars on Makati Med. Sa mga di naman first time moms, sulit ba umattend sa mga paid seminars? Sabi kasi ng OB ko romanticized version daw kasi. Lol.

Anyway scheduled for CAS na ako on July 13. Grabe feeling ko baby boy to. Lumabas mga pimples ko, at ang itim na ng mga dapat umitim. Mag20w na ako tomorrow and I only gained 3.5kg since first trimester. Sabi ng doctor ko kulang pa daw weight gain, pero makikita naman daw sa CAS kung okay weight ni baby. Medyo nagworry lang ako kasi di naman ako nagpipigil sa food, kelangan lang magpigil sa mga unhealthy foods (fastfood and processed food). Kayo ba kamusta ang weight gain?

Nag register din ako sa Baby Expo sis. Haha! Makaka discount ba talaga dun? Pero sa dami ng online shop na nirecommend sakin ng friends at nabasa dito sa GT baka halos karamihan sa online ko bilin. Sabi din ng saleslady sa SM magkaka sale daw this July sa baby company. Sterilizer, few bottles lang naman bibilin ko sa SM. If mabili ko na lahat this July, baka di na ko pumunta sa Expo. 

Regarding sa seminars, eto talaga gusto ko umattend, especially about Newborn Care and Breastfeeding. May free naman sa Parenting Emporium. Sana maka attend talaga ako.

Mag 24 weeks na ako on Tuesday. Ang weight gain ko since start ng pregnancy nasa 6 kls. na. Baka maliit lang talaga built mo sis.

Sis mindie excited lang sa baby expo feeling ko kasi parang bridal fair. haha Gusto ko lang attendan yung Smart Parenting convention para magtingin tingin. Tamad pako gumawa ng checklist for baby kung ano ano bibilhin ko, siguro after ng CAS na lang and alam ko na gender. Aattend din ako ng mga seminars sis, pero yung mga free na lang aattendan ko.

As to the weight gain, di naman ako petite, pero medyo slim nga ako before nabuntis, and naglose pa ako ng 1kg during 1st trimester. Kaya excited na talaga ako sa CAS to check kung ok lang si baby.

Mga sis may plan ba kayong babymoon? Ako insistent kay hubby na mag out of town kami before manganak. Feeling ko kasi once andyan na si baby bihira or sobrang tagal before kami makapagvacay na kaming dalawa lang. Anyway sabi ng OB ko safe naman daw to travel on air until 34 weeks ata, pero based sa mga nabasa ko up to 18 to 24 weeks safest.

hi mga sis! congrats sa mga babies nyo! nakakatuwa naman sa mga alam na ang mga gender ng babies. excited na rin akong malaman. nasa 16 weeks pa lang kami. pero ang laki ko na daw kaya eto assuming na naman kami ng twins. inggit ako sa may mga twins although takot ako sa CS.

di pa kami nagpapaultrasound. bago mag-august siguro magpapa U/S kami. saan ba may mura lang sa QC?

this is my 3rd pregnancy, btw. parehong normal delivery yung 2.

ano pala ang meron sa smart parenting convention? parang gusto ko pumunta. sino pa ang pupunta? paano magregister?

regarding sa birthing seminars, my husband and I attended ms. chiqui's nung 2nd pregnancy ko. nakatulong naman and naempower naman ako. I think nakatulong yung everyday exercises sa mabilis na labor ko sa 2nd. nanganak ako sa lying inn and it made me feel na kayang kaya ko naman sya. unlike with my first, sa TMC pa, e ayaw naman nila ako paglakarin. kinonfine na ako agad sa bed at binutas ang water bag ko. anyways, normal delivery naman both so ok na rin. pero ang daming hindi nasunod sa mga gusto ko.

regarding babymooning, gusto ko rin sana. pero with 2 kids, baka mapagod lang ako hahaha! although gusto ko rin magbakasyon bago pa sila dumami. heheh!

Girls kailan kayo naka schedule for tetanus toxoid shots? 6 years kc interval ng pregnancy ko kaya need ko ulit ng 2 shots. Between 24weeks to 32weeks.

I had 2 shots yata nung 2nd pregnancy ko. That was in 2014. 1-3 years (or more) daw ang effectivity nun. Pwede na ba yun? Or dapat pa dagdagan?

Ayoko lang sana ng sobra. Kundi naman kailangan, wag na lang. Bacteria rin kasi yun na ituturok sa amin ng baby ko.

^Hello sis. Ano anong exercise ang ginawa mo? Kasama yun sa seminar ni Ms. Chiqui? Very active ako before magbuntis nagboxing ako almost everyday kaso naging sensitive pagbubuntis ko kaya natakot na ko magtry ng physical activities.

Gusto ko din mag normal delivery pero meron kasi akong cyst sa left ovary na iniisip naming ipa sabay na sa cs. Di pa ko maka decide kung isasabay ko na talaga or go for normal.

Sa babymoon gusto ko din. Hehe. Pero baka staycation lang sa hotel ang mapayagan sakin. Haha

^Simple exercises lang. Parang mga exercise noon high school. neck turns, shoulder turns, squats, foot stretching.... mga ganun lang. ang gusto ko i-try ngayon is yoga. ayus lang naman mag-exercise lalo na kung sanay naman katawan mo sa exercise. basta lagi mo lang pakikiramdaman din ang katawan mo. ikaw rin naman nakakaalam kung tama na.

before my 1st pregnancy, I was doing belly dancing. tapos before my 2nd pregnancy naman I was doing zumba. pero ayaw ako payagan ni husband na ituloy yung mga exercise ko.

buti nga ngayon payag na sya sa yoga. hindi pa lang ako makakita nung maikling program lang.

Hi mga sis. First time soon to be mom here. I'm on my 21st week and 7 days as of the moment.
After 2 years TTC with hubby (and consistent prayers) finally we are expecting our first child! =)
First tri smooth sailing. Everything went well, Then comes my 2nd trimester. Naglabasan pimples, super oily face, then warts sa neck, tapos always hungry. Not in the mood to take photos anymore because of my huge nose.
Gained 9 pounds already.
Feel ko na din mga sipa ni baby, pero always sa lower abdomen.
First shot ko ng tetanus toxoid last June 30, then second sa August 1.
2 shots lang daw ako per my OB.
CAS ko on my 24th week, lapit na. Super scared and hopefully baby boy, gusto kasi ni hubby, ayoko sana siya madisappoint.. Praying for our babies to be normal and healthy!

Sis tiggerlily, thanks sa suggestion! Will ask my OB about the tetanus toxoid shot. Around how much sis ang fee kay Ms. Chiqui nung time na nagavail ka? My friend who recently gave birth suggested that we attend Lamaze classes. Not sure lang kung separate ang classes on childcare (post-birth).

hi mga sis! makikisali.

actually due date ko is early January, so baka kasi humabol sa December so saling pusa ako sa thread na to.

currently at 14w++. nag-Duphaston ako nung 1st tri. then tapos na ako sa Nuchal Translucency scan (uso ba sa pinas to? yung iccheck yung fluid sa batok ni baby within 11w-13w, tapos pag makapal e high risk for down syndrome / heart disease. tapos ichcheck din kung visible ang nasal bone kasi pag wala e risk din for down syndrome.), and thankfully normal naman lahat ng findings.

my next scan is on the 31st pa, which is roughly on my 17th week. nakaka-bagot. parang gusto mo makita lang lagi si baby. haha. minsan nagwoworry ako kung ok lang ba sya or what. pero since wala naman akong magawa e dasal dasal na lang. a few days ago e i was also suffering from bad headaches with nausea and vomiting. pero as of today medyo subsiding na and sana mag-tuloy-tuloy na.

yung CAS pala na sinasabi niyo e Fetal Anomaly Scan noh? yung scan at 5months? excited na rin ako for mine, although most likely late August pa ko due for that. hubby and I wanted a girl pero my gut feel and some friends tell me it might be a boy. but we'll be more than ok with either (tsaka we have names prepared naman na) as long as happy, healthy and normal.

as for exercises, I was running/jogging before i got pregnant but my OB stopped me na. so palakad-lakad nalang ako when I can. iwas din ako na mapagod nang sobra.

my first OB didn't mention the need for tetanus toxoid shots. ganyan pala sistema sa PH?

anyway, my check-up on the 31st is with a new OB (tinaboy na ko nung unang OB kasi fertility specialist na sya, so she doesn't do deliveries na). medyo in-demand tong si bagong doc so my prob is i don't know who to go to in case of check-ups before or between my scheduled appointment.

gusto rin namin mag-babymoon! kaso kelangan konting budget.. di kasi covered ng healthcard namin dito ang deliveries. tapos baka unpaid pa maternity leave ko.

Share ko lang experience ko this week. Kasi may fire emergency dito sa office namin nung monday, so pina-evacuate kami lahat. 32nd floor and office namin and syempre bumaba kami gamit lang ang stairs. Sobrang pagod pero nakaya ko naman.

The next day, i had a light spotting so nagpacheckup kami agad ng Wednesday. Pinag- BPS (Biophysical Scanning) ako ni Doc and okay naman lahat ng result. Super nastress lang dahil dun sa pagbaba and panic. And advise lang is to rest and always lay down with legs lifted kasi ayaw nya na ko painumin ng kahit anong gamot kahit yung pampakapit dahil baka mas magkaroon pa ng effect.

Dasal dasal lang din ako na sana sa October okay ang lahat at hindi ako mapre-term.
