Hi. Just read sa news na magstart na mag-public offering ng RTBs on 03/28 - 04/06. Anyone else planning to buy RTBs?

Yes sis, I read the news as well nung Friday pa. I think the RTBs will have a term of minimum of 3 years.

How do you buy these ba? Diba sa mga dealers yun? I already identified Landbank as one, can this be bought online? Thanks sis!

^ Not sure kung pwede sya online and yes, term nya is 3 yrs lang.

Aside from Landbank, pwede rin sa BPI, BDO, Security Bank and Metrobank. I have an account both with BDO and SB pero mas malapit samin ang BDO so baka dun na lang ako pumunta tomorrow.

^ hi sis! 5k ang minimum amount to invest. You can try visiting BTr's website may calculator doon how much you can earn annually net of taxes (after taxes):

nagpa reserve na ako for me and my mom. maliit na amount lang to diversify our investments. 3 years lang naman. i think this is also a good chance to have exposure sa government bonds.

Tried the calculator. So basically for every P100k invested, the earnings will be roughly P3,400 (net of taxes) annually.

Kumuha na rin kami ni hubby yesterday. Mas okay kase talaga na dito mag-invest sa RTBs kesa naka-steady lang sa savings acct yung pera.  Happy earnings sissies!

ok nga ang RTB na offer nila ngayon kasi 3 years lang. nagpareserve na din ang daddy ko sa Monday pa ang bayaran. dati kumuha na din sya pero 10years ang contract. ok naman kaysa TD talaga.

May I know san kayo nagpareserve? I inquired sa Metrobank and minimum nila is 500k eh. TIA!

BDO and Security Bank sis. Dun kase bank namin ni hubby, 5k minimum lang.

Anong required docs need to submit sa bank?

sa BPI din kami. need lang ng  1 valid/government issued ID at TIN ID or TIN No.

I inquired yesterday sa BPI and the one I talked to mentioned that it's only for reservation, we would be advised when we can actually apply. Bali ang pagkakaintindi ko possible na ndi makakuha yung reservation. I didn't sign any forms or something just wrote info on small paper (name, email, acct no, birthdate) and was told that we will be advised if the reservation got accepted by Thursday. Kasi sa pagkakaintindi may certain allocation lang per bank.


Sa BDO etc ba? Directly meron na?

^ Ang weird naman nun sis. Pag kase walang public offering, alam ko nga hindi ka basta makakabili ng RTBs and mas mahal talaga (some banks' min denomination is 100k). Pero I bought mine from BDO while hubby purchased from Security Bank.

^^ Hello. Thanks for the info. Sa BPI kasi P5,000 yung minimum so maybe they are trying to accumulate the reservation up to certain amount from different/ several account holders.

I've just started reading regarding other banks and yes, it seems that you need at least P100k for other banks. :/

Sa mga nakapag-purchase na, yung client ba talaga ang magpapa-notarized ng docs? Saka pag sa different branch nag-purchase, hindi ba auto-debit sa account ang purchase price? Sabi kc sa kin need ko pa daw mag-withdraw since hindi doon ang branch of account ko. Sa bdo ako nag-purchase ng rtb.

^ sa bdo din ako nakapurchase sis, and yes, client mismo ang nagpanotarized ng docs at pati un fund trinansfer ko from diff branch to the branch kung saan ako bumili.
