How's the weather in Korea by 2nd week of October?  Baguio-feels lang ba or do we have to bring winter clothes already?  TIA

^Di ko masyado masabi yung by 2nd week ng October. Hehe. Nag punta kasi kami 1st week ng Nov for late autumn. Kaso super biglang bagsak ng temp nung week na yun, kaya parang feeling namin winter na. Naka bubble jacket na ibang locals, buti nalang nag check ako ng weather bago kami umalis kaya nag re empake kami ng winter clothes. Ang gauge ko kasi, pag below 10deg, malamig yan super. pag 15-20deg, yan yung bearable for me. Di ako lamigin.

@Memamimu Nakapunta kami nung 1st-2nd week of June. Sakto lang for us. Tipong Baguio feels lang, Then Tagaytay feels pag tanghaling tapat. Pa summer kasi nila yung June... then full blast July-August.

Busan -- Manila feels, but relatively cooler -- around  20 degrees siguro?
Seoul -- relatively cooler but light jacket will do

^ITR is required kasi talaga to show your economic ties here in PH. Try calling the embassy kung anong pwedeng requirement ipalit or letter ang pwedeng ipakita. Maybe a letter from his US company explaining why he don't have ITR? Pero may TIN ba sya?

I know one friend na employer nya rin ay from other country, medyo hirap sya kumuha ng visa kasi nga wala syang ITR na mapakita.

Same sa nangyari sa friend ko din. Free lance siya with employer sa labas ng bansa. We applied 2 weeks ago, but unfortunately, denied. Mind you he has ITR from previous work ha kase lately lang naman sya nag resign from being employed at nag-free lance.

Hi sis @katniss @madness, I saw on some blog kasi he submitted an explanation letter kung bakit wala sya mapresent na ITR. And his employer din is willing to add an explanation on his COE and his approved leaves as well. Lalo tuloy ako nawawalan ng pag asa huhu

Hi! We're scheduled to travel ni misis to Korea next month. Problem ko lang is that I'm working as an online freelancer since August 2016. My employer is based in Singapore. I just started paying taxes June 2017 kaya wala akong ITR. Ano kaya ang mas OK gawin? Apply for a visa as an online freelancer and just pass the monthly and quarterly tax forms/receipts? Or just apply as unemployed (house husband)?

^di ko na makita yung prev post mo but anyway, you can try your luck. free naman visa e. Check mo din yung blog na nakita mo baka naman may previous travel na kasi sya kaya ok na walang ITR or inexplain nya bakit wala sya ITR but "plans" to file one soon. Or baka may prinesent syang copy ng ibang property (car/house) that will prove her ties sa ph.

I've been to Korea twice already.  I'm not working anymore so no ITR & employment letter.  I just submit my bank documents.  & recently i showed my BPI Gold Card.  I was given a 5 year multiple entry visa.

Try mo pa din sis! Medyo nakakainis yung rules na no work, no visa. Tapos lalo na yung freelancer kase technically, may work naman pero ang higpit nila about it. Lalo na kapag yung boss mo eh based abroad. So pinagiisipan ka siguro na mag- TNT?! I don?t know.

Tama yung sabi ni sis, maybe you can present like properties: house/car properties

Try mo pa din. Huwag kang mawalan ng pag-asa kase it won?t hurt naman to try.

After ma-deny ng visa yung friend ko, nag-appeal pa kami, showing COE, letter of explanation. Ang my friend isn?t ever his first time to travel abroad. At may pera naman sa bank, mas malaki pa nga sa akin, but still. Baka hindi pa niya time mag visit sa Korea.

Again, sis, we tried muna ng 3x before completely giving up. Maybe you can do that, too! Fighting!

Sis @Madness and sis @plumpolka he?s going to get his TIN and start filing his taxes next week. I also read in some travel blogs yung comment section nila dun na they submitted their COR and yung payment receipts ng tax nila dahil no ITR pa and tinanggap naman. So ganun na din gagawin namin. Hoping for the best na maapprove mga sis!! I will be so heartbroken pag na-denied kami hehe so I added to my daily prayer na maapprove visa namin hehe.

^Here in Seoul, cool early 20s temp during the day, lower at night.

Got back from Seoul a few days ago. 5 days stay but I got sick on the way while on the plane so a bit relaxed sa first 2 days. I like Seoul, maybe I?ll ranked it equally as Tokyo but I don?t want to compare the two cities because they are different from each other. Proper sit down restaurants and cafes namahalan ako but the food courts, fast food and street food okay lang presyo. Public transport (train and taxi) akala ko sobra mahal according to blogs but hindi naman pala. Chuseok week when we went and ang daming locals and tourists sa Myeongdong and Dongdaemun. The driver we booked from Klook said Seoul used to be quiet during Chuseok 10 years ago but not anymore.

Seoul ruined Uniqlo, Zara, etc for me. Magaganda ang quality sa mga brands nila, maski ang mura maganda pa rin.

^^ May mga coats and jackets na nasa 50000 won ang lowest sa Myeongdong but in Doota at Dongdaemun they could be lower, pero madami pang malls na mas mura than Doota. I went to Top10 (parang Cotton On and Uniqlo but the quality is much much better) in Myeongdong, a nice jacket I bought for 40000 won on sale, original price was 70000 won. Cheaper yata sa mga underground shops but they were closed during Chuseok. I read somewhere cheaper in Hongdae and Ehwa Uni area but not enough time for us.

^Light jacket/coat puwede na, gets really cold at night, sa araw mainit. I don?t know how to explain it but when I was there during the day mainit pero dry ang skin namin maski naka-moisturiser, no wonder ang skincare routine nila stresses its importance.

Malamig na sa gabi 9-10 degrees.. Sa umaga less than 20 degrees na. Yes some people are now wearing coat.
