Mga sis I need your help. Any suggestion for affordable hostels near Myeongdong station? We are currently booked in 24 Guesthouse Myeongdong Town, a few minutes walk from hoehyeon station and namdaemun market pero a train ride away pa from myeongdong area (pwede lakarin pero too tamad haha). Kaya lang parang mas gusto ko na ma-feel ang myeongdong street lalo na sa gabi kasi parang di sila natutulog. I've been scanning agoda and this thread pero more on ehwa/hongdae ang suggestions. Ahehe TIA!

3. Yun mga outlet store di naman mura. Mas mura sa mga underground shopping stores yun sa subway. Parang sa meyongdong pa lang solve ka na sa shopping. Bukod sa make up Madami magaganda damit sa spao (korean brand) and 8 seconds.

Sis saan yung subway na pwede mamili ng mura? Balak ko bumili ng coat pagdating ko dun. Isa lang dalhin ko from here eh. heheh

Express Bus terminal ang alam kong subway na mura.. pero malayo siya sa downtown. I still prefer to shop near Ehwa university..

Thansk sis @Ghell06! We're considering that as well. 1, 2 and 3 Ahehe! Malapit pala sa Namsan Tower lahat ng hostel na mura. Ngayon ko lang napansin haha!

So far ang naikot ikot ko na shopping area un sa subway ng myeongdong. Napansin ko lang yun prices sa goodmorning city (near hyundai in dongdaemun) na medyo mahal din.  Yun mga coat sa hyundai outlet mall ako nakakita last sunday. Nasa 30k won yata.  Hindi na ako nakapunta sa ehwa. Sayang nga eh.

Mainit na nun umalis kami nun tue. Pinapawis na kilikili ko hehe. Pero sabi nun owner ng guesthouse forecasted daw na umulan ng wed. So pabago bago weather.

^yes, i agree namsan guesthouse. stayed there 3 years ago.
very nice location, and the airport bus has a stop near there too.
very convenient!

No Problem sis. Stayed there last April. Sobrang ok yung location. If ever dun kayo magstay, try nyo na din kumaen sa Two Two Chicken. Sobrang sarap dun :')

Another question: We are thinking of trying jimjilbang. We have 2 options:

1) From Busan, instead na mag-check in sa hotel sa jimjilbang na lang muna kami mag-stay (the prob is: the next day afternoon pa ang hotel check in so di kami agad makakapasyal)

2) Sa last night kami mag-jimjilbang. And since gabi pa flight namin the next day pwede pa kami mamasyal. (the prob is: paano mag-aayos ng gamit and saan pwede iwan ang luggages para makapasyal kami ng walang bitbit?)

May nakita na ako na mga luggage deposit like Safex and Preium Travel Center. May mga nakapag-try na kaya sa inyo nito? TIA in advanced ulit! Blocked kasi yung mga blogs dito sa amin kaya di ko mabasa mga personal experiences ng nakapag-try.

^^^ Yes. Pwede guarantor dad mo. Affidavit of support lang kailangan. My mom did this to my tita which is her sister. Ayun nabigyan naman siya ng visa. Better bring also a photocopy of your tita's birth certificate. Oo tatanungin kasi kung anung work mo eh. So to prove it, submit COE

Grabe sobrang strict ng Korean Air =) 1 check-in luggage per person lang na not exceeding 23kg and the diameter should not exceed 62 inchess too (adding Length, Width and Height). Eh 3 adults 2 kids pa naman kame and we always travel with 2 large luggages and 1 small one then we add up the weight pero Korean Air will not allow us. So now we need to repack and rethink =) Sept 2 na alis namin. Baguio weather lang naman siguro dun no?

San kaya makakabili ng affordable luggages? sure ko need to buy additional luggages sa mga pamili namin pag-uwe =)

Sis if sa pinas ka bibili, i bought my luggage ng last minute din sa may st francis tyangge sa may pinakamataas na floor. I bought my medium luggage for 1,500 (not cabin size ha) mejo mabilis lang ang pagpalit ng mga luggages doon pero ang mumura talaga.

first day (wednesday) - 10pm dating so tulog nalang sa hostel sa myeong dong

day 2 (thurs) - everland. after everland wala pang idea ano ok puntahan. any suggestions?

day 3  (friday) - gyeongbuk gung palace
bukchon village
nanta show
any suggestions?

day 4 (saturday) - nami island and petite france
n seoul tower
gangnam, hongdae, ewha

day 5 (sunday) - DDP, shopping etc..

day 6 - (monday last day) - ikot ikot lang around myeongdong,

help sis sobrang wala along idea sa itinerary haha. pero I'm still back reading now. ano pa okay puntahan and paano ko sila ppuntahan from place to place. omg hiram hahaha
