Resort/Beach Club Membership|Share Holder

I was trying to look for this topic pero parang wala akong makitang thread.

Anyway, I was just trying to get some feedbacks regarding getting a membership or being a share holder of some resort/beach clubs here in the PH. Okay ba to na investment? Eto yung mga resorts like Club Punta Fuego, Pico De Loro, Anvaya Cove.

Okay ba maginvest dito? Worth it ba? Anyone here is member of those resorts mentioned or other beach clubs? How was it? I saw a new beach club kasi na itatayo somewhere in Batangas and they are offering membership.

muntik na ako bumili sa astoria ng ganito. pero napigilan ko sarili ko. hindi sya wise investment para sakin kasi usually, may limit lang naman yung free stay mo dun. like 7days max every year or yung iba 4days nga lang e. hindi pa pwede peak season. and magbabayad ka parin naman if pupunta ka dun na nagamit mo na yung free stay mo pero monthly mo binabayaran. parang social status lang naman na member ka ng exclusive resort. pero yung balik ng pera, i dont think it would double your investment. wala ka din sariling room or whatsoever na panghahawakan na sayo yun. yung membership lang talaga mismo. ang makukuha mo lang is discount from other 'affiliate' hotels/resorts na madami naman na din online.


much better mag-invest ka na lang ng bahay or iba na tangible kesa membership. ewan ko ah, my persepective lang dahil muntik na ako ma-salestalk into buying this. pero they gave me an offer na need ko that day bilhin so i pass na lang. pinagisipan ko nung gabi, not worth it pala. pero baka iba naman yung offer sa inyo. but me, i wont invest into this.

And, yes! Oo nga pala, i remember Astoria! Eto yung may pafree dinner pa sila kuno. Yun pala aalukin ka lang kung ano-ano? Ang hindi ko lang maalala is kung the same din eto ng offer/benefits from the other?

hi ayi21 may we know what beach resort in batangas are you referring to and how much are they offering?
we have one, in clubbalai isabel. investment in terms of money earning, not felt it in any way . we just use the number of free accommodations entitled for our membership.

Re: Astoria, hindi ko din matandaan kung shareholder ka pero i think wala ata. and you can get your free stay lang din sa home resort mo, in our case sa palawan daw.


with regards sa sharing ng earnings, are you sure that the resort will earn a lot given its nature of business? kasi resort yan, i'm pretty sure they will rely on the weather/season sa earnings nila unlike if you invest sa mutual funds and the likes. and i think kaya sila may ganyang scheme is because wala silang budget para ipatayo yung resort nila hahaha! parang sa mga pre-selling condo na they get your payment sa pagtayo ng condo nila. but with condo, its yours talaga. with them, its just a membership, limited free accommodation and a share on their earnings along with the other members minus all the expenses they paid to maintain the resort even on the non-peak seasons.


hahaha! sorry kung medyo negative opinion ko but it's just not for me. sabi ko nga, muntik na ako ma-tempt but i would rather buy a condo na lang instead of this. imagine, i was already willing to pay 100k+ down then and there for astoria kasi talagang enticing yung offer. buti na lang i got into my senses na i dont want to pay something na hindi ko naman din masyado mapapakinabangan.


but its all up to you parin naman, if you have that money to spare and you think masusulit mo yung binayad mo sa kanila, then go ahead.
