TS,
I know it's hard to ignore it but take his way  in a positive way. Maybe it's time to look after yourself. I know it's really hard to shed few pounds. but try it. Don't skip meal , try low-carb diet, it's not easy but tolerable and very effective. There are loads of recipes in the internet if you crave for sweets. Basically eat more veggies, reasonable amount of meat /protein,  no rice, no to all high carbs food. You can PM if you want some recipe na I tried na masarap or if you have any questions.  Don't do it for your husband, but do it for yourself, to help yourself.

TS, virtual hug! you do not deserve any abuse such as that the only way to do is talk to him to watch his mouth regardless may kaharap or walang tao.

You reciprocate everything he does buy saying good words and appreciating him in front of other people so he knows that is what you need more than anything else.

That happened with my bro and sis in law we were in Puerto Galera, for a couple out of town date, then nung kakain na kami, I ate kebab lang tapos si hubby, bro and sis in law ate rice, I do not eat rice for already 8years, then my bro in law asked me bakit hindi ako kumakain ng rice, sabi ko less carbs intake so no rice for how many years na.. then sabi niya, ha?! dapat ito (sabay turo sa asawa niya) ang hindi kumakain ng kanin ikaw may kailangan niyan diet na yan..

Nahurt ako for my sis in law, kasi she is in a heavy side pero super pretty (German ang lahi and former Ms. Lyceum) pero his hubby was just so insensitive, so sabi ko kahit hindi na mag diet (my sis in law name) super pretty pa rin siya, ikaw kaya manganak, kayo nga hindi nanganak may pinaglalaban tyan nyo eh! Then we just laugh it out!!

TS:

If you really want to lose weight, do it for yourself not for your husband. Tska huwag mong bibiglain. Yung weight mo, hindi mataba yan for your height.

Lalo na sa dinner, as much as possible, fruits or veggies nalang or oatmeal. Effective sya promise.

I think this will depend on your dynamics as husband and wife. Some people tease their partner like that, no offense intended.

Since sinasabi mo naman sa husband mo na naooffend ka and it's not a good joke, how does he take it? Feeling ko kasi hindi kayo magka wavelength in terms of humor? Baka sa kanya he takes humor way too far and sayo naman baka you're a little bit sensitive talaga. Does he often say offensive things to you, aside from mentioning your weight? Was he always like that or nagstart lang when you gained weight?

Madalas kasi, lalo na sa guys who are close to us, gustong gusto nila tayong asarin kapag alam nilang naaasar tayo.

Dear Redshoes,

The mere fact that your husband calls you ?baboy? or ?balyena? is absolutely disrespectful. You mentioned that he?s aware that you get offended by his actions, yet still he continues. Dalawa lang yan, either that?s his personality (banter, humor lang sa kanya) and he really lacks sensitivity even to you?his wife, OR he blatantly means what he says and wants you to look a certain way (kumbaga gusto niya ng trophy wife). What he?s doing to you is considered verbal and emotional abuse, especially if he?s aware of how his name-calling and body shaming affects you. It has to STOP. Even if you were morbidly OBESE, this is not an appropriate way of showing his concern for your health.

Talk to your husband. If it doesn?t work, go to counselling or therapy together.

Best of luck.

Reality Check:

1.  Your husband will not cease & desist calling you such names until you get down to your former weight.  Sinabihan mo na several times, hindi naman sya retarded; others hearing his abuse have cringed on your behalf & admonished him --- but he persists with his bastos ways.  He is what he is:  bastos , cruel & verbally abusive.
2.  If you want to stay married to this person, and not have to be walking around carrying sama ng look to choke on. --  you gotta lose that extra weight.  Or, develop a thick skin, and swallow your anger -- let it build up in you. Until 1 day, "nandilim ang paningin ko, Judge"  -- you harm him. Or hurt him emotionally too.
3.  Some ugly stuff is tied up in the concept of "paying the price"  for staying in a relationship.  There is after all, no such thing as a free lunch.  In your case, part of the price is mapait.
4.  Yes, losing weight for the primary reason that you've got a baboy-talking husband may be politically incorrect ...but, well, darling, Reality sucks.  We just gotta suck it up at times.
So, go work at it.  Part of your Revenge will be looking good.  In the meantime, feed him more of your yummy food. 1 day, coz Karma gets around, you'll get to say:  Love you, Oink-Oink!  Hahaha

Advise ko lang sis, feel beautiful because this will increase your self worth. Assess yourself, do not feel bad sis. Beauty is not just equated with body/shape.

If walang toned 6 papacks and muscle-an, medyo shattap naman sila ng konti haha. Napaka abusive, at babastos.

Ang mean naman nyan!  Mataba din ako but my husband never called me names like baboy,  dabyana or balyena kahit pabiro.

I feel yung sentiments ni redsh0es.

My husband always does body shaming especially kapag nagkakaroon kami ng mga arguments at kapag lasing siya.

I have PCOS and it is difficult to maintain a slim body. He blames me for not being fit kaya di kami nagkakaanak pa. :(

I am doing my part naman na magpapayat pero dahil na rin sa stress sa work (I am in charge of monitoring all ground operations sa isang airport which is way too stressful at may night shifts din) kaya ang hirap ibalance ang hormones.

I always end up na lang crying silently whenever I am shamed of my body. I tried confronting c mister but he always turn the table and make it as my mistake, na kesyo daw wala akong respeto sa kanya kaya i deserve that (no respect kasi di ako sexy).

Bukod sa pagiging "baboy", I am also called "inutil", 'walang kwenta" because of being childless. The thing is I have taught gender equality and women abuse sa isang sikat na state university but I myself cannot fight back. Totoo nga kapag nasa isang relasyon ka may tendency you forget to respect yourself dahil ayaw mo masira ang marriage.

There you go, alam naman ng husband ko sa impyerno daw siya mapupunta kaya needless to say anything more  ;D ;D ;D

^huh natiis mo na ganyan treatment sayo? Until when ka magtitiis? Bastos sya.
