Hello! Surprisingly, wala palang active na Indian restaurants thread.

Actually, very selected lang ang Indian food na nagustuhan ko. I like the Naan bread so so much.

But ang hindi ko talaga malimutan is the Spicy Fried Chicken ng Assad Cafe sa may UN Ave.

I am now based in Makati so malayo na ko sa Assad. To those who are familiar with Assad's Spicy chicken (para siyang fried chicken with chilis on top), what can you recommend in Makati that is similar to that?

Grabe yung craving ko for that. Para akong naglilihi hahaha. Sarado pala ang Assad ng weekends. Sad. Di naman ako makakapunta ng weekdays due to work.

I also love Indian cuisine! Sobrang addict ako doon sa samosa ng Assad mini mart before. Like, I can eat 10 of them in a day  Ito yung hanap hanap ko when I go to countries with good Indian food

Sa New Bombay lang ako kumakain when craving for Indian...pinakamadaling puntahan from my place.

My boyfriend is super fan of Indian cuisine nung una hindi ko gusto yung ganyang food, pero nahawa na lang din siguro ako
We've tried New Bombay twice, and ok naman. When I asked about their best seller, the lady recommended two dishes, and so we ordered those. Then, when served, almost same yung lasa, nagkaiba lang kasi the one is chicken and the other  is lamb
I don't know kay ate, bakit almost the same yung lasa ng nirecommend nya, pati kulay
We were able to try din the Swagat Indian restaurant near Legazpi Park. I think I like it more than New Bomabay
Price-wise, almost the same.
And also, we were able to try din RICH (Royal Indian Curry House) in Seaside. That was good, pero pricey pero marami naman kasi yung serving nila per order I remember, dalawa kaming kumain, yung isang dish, may natira pa na ang dami dami, pinatake out pa namin
We'll definitely try the Assad!

^yes, i read very good reviews about Royal Indian Curry House in Makati so i bookmarked it in Zomato!

What should i order there? What dishes do you recommend to go with Naan? Which ones are your favorite? I'm just beginning to explore Indian cuisine, hehe.

^Their butter chicken is very good and the rogan josh, you can vary the level of spiciness. I also love their palak paneer!

Hello! Ive been living in Middle East for a decade na and since my hubby is Indian natuto na ako magluto ng Indian dishes and even mag explore ng new recipes or modify pag may left over. For those who wants to prepare Indian food I can help you with recipes na easy to find and ingredients sa local market. For those who loves Palak paneer like I, madali lang ito iprepare palak means spinach and young paneer you can use tofu kung walang paneer na available. Sa biryani naman I can recommend Chicken Kabsa, tomato paste lang and Main ingredient nito and no masala at all. Cheers!

Now that I'm here in UAE, madali na lang mag order ng indian food. I love biryani,  indian beef cutlets, samosa, chicken tandoori, kebabs at sa dessert naman favorite ko yung coconut rasmalai at mango kulfi.

Ang sarap magluto nung officemate ko na indian kaya nakakatuwa pag shine-share niya yung food niya.

i so love Indian food

Palak Paneer is a must try, i like to have it with rice and papad

For snacks, I like pani puri, aloo tikki and raj kachori

RICH is good but still not the same as the authentic Indian food I've tried in India and its way too costly.
