Food Park

Hi! I want to be a tenant sa isang food park na magoopen dito sa lugar namin. But the thing is wala akong maisip na kakaibang food na pwedeng ipanlaban. Haha.

Eto yung meron na sila:
1. Pizza / Pasta
2. Japanese
3. Persian
4. Waffles
5. Chicken wings
6. Frappes
7. Liquid nitrogen ice cream

Ano pa kaya sa tingin nyo yung papatok na yummy, instragammable and affordable food?

Gotohan. Yan lang ang naisip ko na wala sa list na binigay mo. Pang masa at mapa-breakfast to dinner pwede 'to.

Wala pa silang burgers eh. Okay din siguro yun? Burgers and chips or burgers and fries.

Do you think okay yung rental nila na 750/day? It'll open 3x a week lang, fri-sun. So lumalabas na 750 x 12 = 9,000 monthly ang rental.

But they are planning din to open 5x a week (wed-sun) and by then malelessen pa yung rate. Contract nila is 3mos. And ang pwesto ay sa crossing ng place namin (kaya siguro mahal).

 Do you think it's worth it? Target talaga nila is new entrepreneurs daw.

I'm new with this kaya nagiisip pa ako. My bf is good in cooking naman kaso lang we both are working. And wala pa kaming naiisip/nahahanap sino ang tatao if ever. Hehe. But Im praying na sana makuha namin to. Gusto ko talaga magbusiness para may extra income aside from my salary.

Hi sis! Being in the food biz myself, it is best talaga if you man the store yourself muna (or if you know somebody that you can really trust), treat it like it's your firstborn. Its easy to hire somebody to work for you but its hard to trust anybody that you can leave your business to. Pilferage is a common problem in the restaurant business, that's why it is important that inventories should be done daily.

Would you know who is the target market of your food park?

If your boyfriend can cook, what is his specialty? Its not about the easiest to prepare but it is about the yummiest that your bf can come up with. Pansin ko lang sa mga foodparks, ang daming mediocre food plus when you check out the prices madaming mahal.

Since I love mexican food, may I suggest it then?  Burritos, tacos and nachos!

Yung mga sizzling sis, patok yan sa mga food court hehe tsaka uso ngayon yung mga instagramable drinks, yung parang sa sugar factory na pati baso eh nakabalot sa chocolate and sprinkles or yung drinks na may umuusok effect tsaka yung mga desert na may kasamang cotton candy or popcorn etc. Mga ganong effect na pang hatak sa kids at kids at heart hehe

Hi sis, may inavail din akong slot sa Foodpark na mag-oopen sa province namin. Mexican yung concept namin, I'm also hoping and praying na magiging patok sya.

Ihaw-ihaw like isaw, betamax,etc. kahit mas mahal siya ng konti kesa sa kanto dami nabili yun lang matrabaho ito like gotohan.

Burrito is life! Preferably with "healthy" ingredients like whole wheat pita, avo, brown rice, skinny cream. Also, poke served on hollowed-out pineapple. Aaaand shrimps - grilled/with sauce, in buckets, or bags.

Hi, any ideas kung ano ano pa yun mga foodpark na nagpapalease? Planning to rent a space sana, kung san yun may heavy foot traffic?

Food ideas na wala pa kong nakikita sa mga food park na gusto ko rin sanang itry kaso di ko pa magawa kasi busy pa sa isang business at sa work:

Basic Korean street food na nakikita mo sa kdrama:

-egg bread (gyeranbbang)
-spicy rice cake (tteokboki)
-ice cream waffle
-Korean sushi rolls (kimbap)
-mandu (korean dumplings)

You may also add ramyeon or ramen kahit yung instant noodles lang  yung mga shin ramen tapos dagdagan na lang ng carrots, eggs, onions. may nakita kaming ganito sa Baguio, super patok sya!

You may also offer banana milk and Korean ice cream. Well depende rin kasi sayo yan kung hilig mo rin ang k-stuff. Remember you have to love what you are doing

May mago-open din na food park sa place namin. Malapit sya sa centro ng baranggay namin and near the university and national high school. Plan din namin ng mom ko na mag-start ng small food business since mahusay talaga magluto si mother dear and we're thinking na Banh mi (Viet sandwich) and Vietnamese noodle soups ang i-offer. Wala pa kaming nakita kase na Viet themed resto or stalls within our area. Tingin nyo kaya papatok yun?

paano ang payment terms sa mga food parks? is it commission based depende sa sales of the night?

For our Food Park stall in the province, we pay for a fixed monthly rental fee of 13k.
Yung business partner ko, sya yung manager dun. We've been operating for 4 mos pa lang, so far ok naman. This month lang mahina kasi tag ulan. Hoping and praying lalakas sya ulit this Ber moths kasi madaming turista.
