RTW Wedding Attire for the Bride, the Groom and their Entourage

Fyi pati barong they alter sa department store. My H2B bought his barong from SM dept store they altered his barong to fit him exactly. I think we paid 600 pesos.

Hi girls, lalo na sa mga nakapagtingin na ng RTW gowns nila. I'm also considering na RTW na lang kasi natatakot ako kapag magpatahi, parang risky baka mamaya hindi naman masunod yung peg ko. And also para nga naman kita ko na agad kung okay ba ang fit sa akin o hindi. Anyway, can you share kung ano yung range ng presyo ng wedding gowns? Hindi ko naman din intended na magsplurge dito kasi as long as disente at maganda naman at okay ang fit sa akin, wala nang kaso. Posible ba na worth Php10k? or masyado nang simple kapag ganyan lang kamura? I'm overseas din kaya hindi pa ako makavisit sa mga RTW shops.

^Hmm if 10K you might want to check out Divi. Better if you pick from their designs na and not have it customized. That way wala na gulatan. Also I know that when Ivory and Lace has a sale, prices can go as low as 15K.

Paano yung veil, cord, ano pa ba yung mga usually kasama/freebie pag custom-made

^I think the dress comes with the veil but not the secondary veil. I only inquired with Ivory and Lace and you get 10-15% off the bridal accessories package if you purchase the dress from them. Super cheap din ng bridal accessories sa Divi. I bought the items separately and wala pa ata 2k nagastos ko.

If you are not fussy with materials pede ang 10k. When I went to divisoria, I saw a gown na P4500 lang. Nagulat nga ako kasi when the guy said 4-5 I thought 45k. 4500 lang pala.

The design is ok but the material is not. Most of the gown is made of tulle and not the good kind of tulle - matigas and shiny.

Plano ko rin mag rtw kasi based abroad ako. Question lang, kelan kayo bumili ng gown? Is 7months ahead too early? Pano pag kelangan ng alteration?

7 months is not too early. Got my dress 6 months before the wedding. That gives me enough time to decide on what to add to my dress and such. Regarding alterations, a lot of bridal salons/shops offer that. You'll need to ask them how long it takes for them to readjust the dress in accord to your measurements.

Nasilip ko na mga dress sa Ivory and Lace sa Landmark. Parang nasa 17k-50k yung nakita ko.
Okay naman, marami naman ako nakita na 20k or less. Pero di ko masyado bet yung lace applique and sequins pag malapitan.
Di ako nakapag sukat though. Baka iba rin pag suot na.

Do these RTW bridal stores carry plus-sized gowns? I'm a US 12-14, and while I already have a preferred silhouette for my gown, gusto ko sana mag-fit muna just to make sure bagay sa'kin before having something custom-made. While I would trust the input of my designer I would want to be really really sure that it's the cut that I like.

^ medyo limited yung sample sizes. I'm a size 8-10 US and they didn't really have samples in my size. Lots of the samples in the size 6 range. I had my mom try on the wedding dresses kasi she's a smaller size than me.

If you want to just check which styles suit you, try Mi Sueno or Rosa Clara. I think they have wider range of sizes.

Pronovias (sold by Mi Sueno) is starts at 120k.
Rosa Clara is around 140k I think.

If you're just looking to try different styles, keep the appointment.

 I had a better experience at Mi Sueno. The girls were more helpful and I did not feel rushed through the appointment. They were happy for me to try on as many dresses as I want and I could take photos.

Rosa Clara was a bit more rushed also, no photos.

Thanks LilaFowler Out of budget talaga both RTW's. I also wanted to try so that makita which type will suit me. But then the problem is an I'm based abroad and I do have a very limited time sa next uwi ko. I might go to White Label Bridal coz it's within my budget naman.

For my entourage (female), to save time and less effort, i just bought their gowns sa zalora. Tapos ang problema   the style and size of the gown is very forgiving kaya keri na ng entourage ko

It's just to try on different styles. You don't need to buy naman. Kasi nga very limited ang sizes ng ivory and white or white label. Pronovias has larger sizes.

Kasi once you've tried on a certain silhouette you know na that that style suits you and you can buy na lang based on the type of lace, embellishments etc.

Yes I agree LilaFowler I'll schedule an appointment with White Label, Rosa Clara, and Pronovias this coming June. And from there let's see which silhouette will look good on me. I'm on the petite side kasi so I need to see which one will suit me. Thanks for the tip
