RTW Wedding Attire for the Bride, the Groom and their Entourage

Hello Ladies!

I thought of starting a thread about RTW wedding attire for the bride, the groom, and their entourage.

Baka lang may gusto kayong i-share about bridal salons/couturiers offering these, their rates, the advantages and disadvantages of getting RTWs, and anything/everything around this topic.


On my end, I've tried on a few RTW wedding gowns, particularly those similar to my peg, at dun ko nadiscover na hindi pala bagay sakin yung peg ko. Hindi bagay lace sakin, tapos the gown that I chose was the least I expected to look good on me.

How about you ladies? What's your experience?

^My wedding gown will be a White Label RTW. But before saying yes to this dress I also visited other bridal boutiques offering rtw gowns; Bridehouse, Ivory & White, The Bridal Room, Rosa Clara and Ivory and Lace in Landmark.

I got my gown from Ivory and White. They didn't have a lot of selections nung pumunta ako probably because it was December. May kayamanan mga tao sa panahon na yan. They restocked this January though, and what I like about them is that:
--- They're accessible from my place
--- The range of their gowns is within my budget
--- They offer free alterations
--- We have options for add-ons such as belt, sash and beadworks for a very reasonable price

So far natuwa ako sa service na pinapakita nila sakin. They're very accommodating.

We went RTW route for everything.

My dress is from White Label.
Bridesmaid dresses from ASOS.
Groom and Groomsmen's barong from Kultura in SM Dept Store.
Flower girl dresses from SM Dept Store.

The main reason for doing RTW is convenience and peace of mind. I hear so many stories about couturier's not delivering what they promise or expectations being very different from reality.

I agree with sis LilaFowler. Iba pa rin kapag nakita mo na yung output. 😊 Hindi ka na kakabahan. Hehe.

My gown is from Bride House. May konting alteration and additions lang. Final fitting ko this Feb. Our maid of honor and bridesmaid dresses are from Style Staple. 😊 The rest of the entourage decided na magpatahi kasi ang hirap maghanap ng rtw for them.

^Hi sis! Yes okay naman. Medyo revealing lang yung styles nila but very modern. 😊 Pwede naman ipa-alter like what we did sa dresses nila. Pinataasan namin yung sa harap and likod. Since my bridesmaids and maid of honor agreed with the price and style and they're going to pay for it naman, so go na rin ako. 😊 I just made sure na hindi ako matatalbugan sa mismong wedding day ko. Haha!

^Hi sis, you may also check Tantease. Magaganda gawa nila. Simple and Elegant. May shop sila sa Glorietta 5. One of my choices din dati. May magaganda din sa Zalora.

Yung sakin, I've decided lang kasi na made to order na lang lahat. Iba iba lang ang couturier for my gown, iba sa mothers and iba yung sa Entou gowns. May pegs lang akong ipinakita.

kino-consider ko mag RTW wedding dress for peace of mind. At least alam ko na how it looks on me. Mas gusto ko din yung saktong dress lang, kasi parang ang bulky palage ng mga nakikita kong custom made na dress/gown - yung bodice nya na structured, parang ang hirap kumilos/huminga.Gusto ko yung dating nung kay Solenn Heusaff or Bianca Gonzalez.
But matagal pa naman wedding, most likely magbabago pa isip ko.

I think you just need to find a designer that excel's in the type of gown you like.

Pero I agree with the usong wedding dresses ngayon. Sobrang stiff and over embellished. Yung iba bordering on costume na.

^ i've been to white label, ivory and white, mi sueno and rosa clara.

Only rosa clara does not allow photos.

I emded up getting my wedding dress from White Label.

Does any of the mentioned bridal house cover Brides Maid Dresses too? 

I checked kasi the prices online ng dresses for my Brides Maids parang almost close lang ang price pag pina copy sa mananahi and when you buy online.  I was wondering if we can just get them sa bridal house and have it altered there n din.

Yung mga rtw for entourage, mga magkano usually? Nag check ako sa page ng apartment 8 yung mga type ko nasa 2,500 above. I wonder ano ang mga other options na meron?

Ang mga RTW na bridal house ba sila na rin mismo nag aalter ng dress to fit your size?

^ A lot of them, yes. Some offer free alterations, others like Ivory and Lace in Landmark, they charge with a minimal fee of at least Php300
