Girltalkers from Mainland USA! How do you shop these days?

Hello to my fellow girltalkers! I just want to know your shopping activities? Yung tipong, panu ka magshopping ng mga needs and wants niyo? Do you always pay full price or you take advantage of the store memberships to get more discounts?

It will be my fifth year here in Cali, and I must say, last year ko lang na narealize na ang dami ko na palang dapat na save if I have been a smarter shopper.  Smarter Shopper wherein I took advantage in using store memberships, coupons and cashback offers.

My fave stores to save on our Personal Cares and Household includes CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aids and Target.
When it comes to make-ups - Ill go for Ulta
For Clothes and everything  - winner naman si Kohl's, JC Penny, and Macy's
But when it comes to foods - we go to Winco and Walmart and kapag bulk talaga we go to Costco.

from experience, I've noticed that Walmart prices is way cheaper than the regular grocery stores like Albertsons, Vons, Ralphs when it comes to basic pantry staples including snacks, cleaning supplies, feminine items and toiletries.
for fruits and vegetables, produce markets/stores can't  be beat, most of them sell Filipino staples  too.
there's also Smart and Final, kcup coffee is cheaper there, also party supplies that can't be found in other stores.
I don't do this myself but check your mail on Tuesdays and Wednesdays I think, that's when grocery stores have their fliers for that week's sale items or specials.
always have a grocery list and only buy items from that list.
there's really no trick to saving money from shopping, just remember not to pay full price for anything! department stores have sales all the time. and if you feel like getting something nice from a known designer, check out the Outlet stores, they're everywhere in SoCal.
also if you have Prime membership, Amazon sells everything under the sun and you get the item in 2 days.

Thanks for sharing Tyslolakins! Yeah I also heard a lot about Albertsons, Vons and Ralphs! They give great deals too kaso wala me available here in our City sa Central Valley.

Yeah! Walmart too! At times mahihiya ka na lang din kasi Tax na lang ang binabayaran mo at times because of coupons.

Si hubby ang naka prime sa amazon! and yes, earning points while shopping thru them di ba is some of great perks.
