Hi mga sis! Just want to ask which do you prefer, styled backdrop or LED wall as backdrop na din? kasi we are thinking if we can use the LED wall as backdrop na din parang multi-purpose na siya na doon na din ipapakita lahat ng AVP presentations. Ang pricey din kasi ng pag style sa backdrop - aabot ng 18k or higher pa for the backdrop only. Kaya din naisip namin na iconsider ang LED wall kasi sa reception venue, ang available lang is projector screen only, we still need to rent for a projector mismo which will cost us around 3k-5k yata.
Any idea how much magrent ng LED wall? TIA

Pinagisipan ko din yan dati and I ended up having a styled background. May mga nabasa kasi ako na not so good daw sa pictures yung led. LED wall is 25k and up sis

Yun nga din sabi ng coord namin. Hindi nga din advisable ang LED wall as backdrop. Yung na quote kasi sa amin na styled backdrop is almost 18k na din and we have to rent a projector pa para dun sa screen since hindi siya provided sa reception venue. More than 20k din if ever. pero pagiisipan namin maigi kung ano ba talaga. hehe. thanks sis!

@marywater - What did you do for your guestbook? We haven't got our yet and I'm out of ideas.

So far our DIY:
- invitation (design only, professionally printed)
- all paper products(menu, missalette, etc)
- cord
- gifts for BM and GM (health kit and cable cosy)
- garter (to do)

For the veil, we bought one and then embellished it.

I just upgraded 2 supplier packages 3 months before the wedding

1. Church flowers- Im actually fine with just getting the flowers included in our church package as Im not really into flowers. Even though I know that some people AKA my mom would criticize it and wont let me hear the end of it. I just cant find myself to spend extra on something I'm not really fond of. But just last week my mom said that she will pay for our flowers as her gift so with this I asked my florist to include church styling as well:) Disaster averted haha.

2. Strings- After attending a wedding with a quartet(1 vocalist+3 instruments) which is our original package, I felt that with our crowd a quintet is more apt (1 vocalist+4 instruments). The additional instrument is an electronic percussion that way, it is more flexible for my strings to swing from classics to contemporary.

Regarding guestbooks, hay Im not really a creative person. I checked NBS and all they have are plain ones. They have 2 columns inside for names and addresses and that reminds me of ones we sign in funerals. I might ask my fiance to buy a customized one abroad.

I'm thinking of getting a scrapbook na lang so guests can write on it. Kasi I just want guests to be able to leave messages for us,

^One of my friends did this for their guestbook. They had couple photos taken in a studio then had it printed in a coffee table book with blank pages. They just wore jeans and white top for the pictures.

^^ We used a scrapbook + Instax so we can have a photo of the guests along with the message. May iba lang who went home with the pictures instead haha.

^ We got the Fujifilm 7S kasi it was on clearance (50% off!) because they have a newer version na. We ended up giving them away as gifts din after the wedding.

I wanted to get din sana this guestbook from Etsy with pockets for Instax photos pero there wasn't enough time na for shipping (plus ang mahal din haha). Sayang kasi it looks so nice.  We ended up getting a generic scrapbook na lang and then I'm thinking of having it re-bound.

Kami we skipped the LED wall para maka-save and ma-achieve yung peg namin na parang "film night in the park". We used ANSI projector. You might wanna consider kasi it is way, way more affordable than getting a LED walla. We got 5000 ANSI (ni-require din samin ng photog namin) for only Php 8,500. Maganda naman yung itsura niya, not the usual projector style yung screen.

Sige sis, we'll consider that. Sabi din ng coord namin, if kukuha kami ng projector, it should be 4500LUMENS minimum na dapat para maganda quality. Sinuggest din niya ang Metrotech if ever magrerent kami. Sa laptop naman, we'll bring our own na din as extra lang if ever kailanganin.

Sis how did you do your invitation? Online? Photoshop?

I bought the flower illustrations from Etsy then put them together using photoshop.

My husband was also the one who designed our invites! He just downloaded high res pics tapos pinagpilian lang namin kung ano pinaka ok and we changed the colors according to our theme.

Nagpa-print kami sa Yanna's Printshop in Recto, Manila. And we also DIYed the waxing kaya super kawawa si hubby dahil sa mga paso niya.
