Cocktails: SLammin Burger/ Pilipinas Serve Drinks
We also booked these 2 suppliers last minute. We had an issue with Vikings not serving anything during cocktails?eh bat pa kami may cocktail hour kung nga nga lang ang guests. Grateful with Vikings that they waived all the corkage charges for these. We were able to maximize the bayview side of Moa while guests sip on Pilipinas Serve drinks . They serve good drinks at all ha! We chose: Virgin brewed iced tea, Grape Cooler, Mango fizz and all guests drinks were empty! Meaning masarap talga.
With Slammin burger, we love their burgers rin because its real beef and feels like no extender loL!
We got a fairly good deal of 150 burgers. Not all guests got their burgers because they will feel busog/full if they do. Actually drinks pa lang solve na sila  we spent roughly 20k for cocktails but seeing the guests enjoy and had fun super sulit na.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SUPPLIERS:
   - Dazzle by Rio De Guzman - mega asikaso exceeded our expectations. We saw the coordinators for the next wedding in the church and we were like "eeww our coordinators are way cuter" haha
   - Rio De Guzman - such a pro, very lively and elegant hosting
   - NQ Modern - just the way we like the photos vibrant, elegant and timeless, no baduy poses
   - Juan Carlo - delicious food, classy venue design, great service, a LOT of freebies
   - Fullblooms by Inah - they delivered as per the pegs 101% , I requested a weird all succulent bouquet and voila it was perfect
   - Geo Makeup Artistry - I got the wavy hair that I wanted na hindi mukhang goldilocks and the no make-up look I requested
   - String Session - violinist Merjohn is world class, they did the special arrangement of "Human by The Killers" for the entourage march and it was amazing
   - Moonstar88 - We hired them because they have the best cover version for our 1st dance song "Panalangin". And their new bassist Buddy Zabala is really cool.
   - ESA Clothing - The perfect princess gown for the church and vixen sparkly gown for the reception. My entourage had the unique and crisp eye popping ball gowns.
   - Food Carts Taho and Dirty Ice Cream - probably the most raved part of our wedding, super sarap ng ice cream. Ask me for the supplier numbers.

NOT RECOMMENDED / AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
   - Niceprint Photography - extremely JOLOGS and low quality photos (Manila engagement shoot) and wedding video. I threw out the CDs didn?t even bother to save it or post anywhere.
   - BlueLeaf McKinley Jade Hall - Mainit kahit my aircon
   - Nuestra Senora De Gracia Church - Sobrang init and typical "banal na aso santong kabayo" staff
   - Our church priest - wala sa sarili and mali mali, not sure if it was his first time to celebrate a wedding. I swear mas solemn pa di hamak si Elvis sa Vegas wedding namin.

SUPPLIERS RATING PART 1

Church: Hearts of Jesus and Mary Parish, West Triangle QC (formerly called Twin Hearts Parish) (9/10)

The good thing about this church is that it was perfect for an intimate wedding. The package already includes simple white flowers along the aisle, candles to be lighted by the secondary sponsors, the singer, commentator and pre-cana seminar (with lunch and snacks). Hands down, Ate Linda, the old lady who guided us throughout the marriage requirements, was very helpful and very considerate.

There?s just one issue on the day itself. The church had a newly installed aircon. We did not avail it ?cause there?s a big fan that almost covers the whole church. While it was enough, we asked for the wall fans to be turned on so it could be a bit more breezy inside the church (wedding was at 3PM). The church staff said the wall fans are not a part of the package, and that it has the same switch as the newly installed aircon. It was weird and pointless. No one needs a fan when there?s already an aircon in full blast.


B Hotel QC

They made wedding preparations for the reception hassle-free. Their package includes rooms at the hotel, venue and catering, photobooth, cake, bridal car, lights & sounds, and even permission to do a prenup around the hotel. The one who handled our event, Mirah, was very professional, pro-active and very organized. All of the details we requested from her were followed and executed flawlessly from the rooms to be booked, up to all the details at the reception. There was no need to follow up on anything. Mirah was the one who was reminding me of the details. B Hotel does not have the lowest rate in the area, but every buck we spent was all worth it.


Preps & Reception: B Hotel QC (10/10)

Their suite was comfy and relaxing. Love the minimalist yet artsy industrial design so our pictures around the hotel had a modern touch. 

We had our reception at the tent at B Hotel. It?s an airconditioned venue perfect for intimate events like ours. We only had 50 guests and I?m glad B Hotel has this option.


Catering: B Hotel QC (10/10)

B Hotel has a wider selection of food compared to the other hotels around the area. Food was great. They were very generous when it comes to the serving. I mean we only got a package exactly for 50 people but it?s like they prepared food for a hundred.  Our suppliers already had their share of the buffet, and there were still A LOT of leftovers.

SUPPLIERS RATING PART 2

Photographer: Efjay Deleon (10/10)
Love this team. Never doubted them one bit  Efjay was very responsive to our messages. They have amazing shots of the whole event. Nakakatuwa lang na they were able to capture everyone?s reactions. Shots were so candid, and so real. Hindi pilit. They weren?t posy either. Some wedding photographers may have all the techniques in the world to get a great shot, but for our pictures, they were simple, yet there?s so much emotion when I look at them. Takes you back in the moment.


Videographer: Kreative Machines (8/10)
They were able to deliver, more than what we paid for actually. People were telling us na maganda SDE namin. We requested for them to make it more documentary. Capture everything as it happens. Natural lang at walang masyadong direction, and that?s what they did. Overall we were very happy. I only rated them an 8 because of the raw video clips given to us had a really low volume. Other than that, I would highly recommend them.


Florist: The Flower Shop by Dexter & Menchie (7/10)
The flowers were all okay. They didn?t follow all of the requests and instructions given to them. I wanted everything to be blush pink, but that didn?t happen. Then again, their rates were very low, and the most important thing is, we had flowers that day so it was forgivable in a way.


OTD Coordinator: Redawn Events (10/10)
I only fully realized the importance of an OTD coordinator on the wedding day itself. I mean, I knew it was important, but that was the only time I found out that it was more of a necessity than a splurge. We had several issues on our wedding day (without our knowing), but Redawn was there for us and they handled it all well. It was so easy to communicate with them, and you could really tell that the staff had a lot of integrity towards their work.


Wedding Gown: Ivory & White (9/10)
I think they have some of the most affordable RTW wedding gowns compared to others. Never encountered any problems with them. I rated them a 9 just because they only have one contact number. They?re not the most responsive supplier, but they?re sure to reply.


Groom's suit: Gardini (8/10)
We decided to have the suit made at their Congressional branch. The suit looks great, but problems were encountered during alterations. For some reason, pinapunta pa si now-hubby sa Espana branch for the final alterations, which was quite a hassle.


Bestman & Groomsmen Attire: Gardini (Rented) (8/10)
Okay lahat ng suits from Gardini. There?s just this one instance na nabastusan lang si hubby when they were looking for a suit for his bestman. One of the staff was getting pieces of the suits and then just throwing them aside on their couch ?O ayan. Fit mo yan.? Nasabihan naman, and another staff replaced that guy to assist them that day.


Lights/Sounds/Photobooth: B Hotel QC (9/10)
I think there were a couple of technical problems during the reception, but it was quickly resolved.


Bridal Car: B Hotel QC (10/10)
The car was a brand new Peugeot 508. The driver was nice. Car flowers were already included in the package. ☺


Cake: B Hotel QC (12/10)
The cake was amazing! Instead of the 3-layered round cake, we went for layers of vintage books instead (our theme was bears and books). I just gave our pegs to the event manager, and the chef exceeded our expectations.


Cake Topper: Eclay Souvenirs & Accessories (7/10)
They weren?t able to make the cake topper like the picture we sent them, but it turned out to be cute anyway. Problem is, I have to be the one to remind them about their deadlines and such.


HMUA: Realm Hair and Makeup (5/10)
We?re happy with the assistant, Fred kasi kung wala siya, I would have given this team a lower rating. As to why we gave them a 5, PM me na lang. Basta we?re not happy about them. We had a good start upon booking their services, but from there, it went downhill. The HMUA team was the rotten apple in the bunch. Sana iba na lang kinuha namin.

Exactly. I didn't have any problems with them either so I won't hesitate to recommend them if ever. Mirah, our main coordinator at B Hotel, made it all easy for us.

- Sobrang thankful ako sa kanila. Sila ang umalalay sa kin sa wedding preps ko. Kahit July ako nag-start, still may nakuha silang maayos na mga suppliers for my wedding. Very accommodating and smooth ang flow ng mga pangyayari on my wedding day. Highly recommended.

- Packaged ito sa wedding coordinator ko. Non-negotiable ito sa kanila since isa lang ang may-ari. Though they may still consider other pv supplier of your choice. Sobrang thankful din ako lalo na sa team and kay Sir Lorets. Surprise sa akin ang photo sde nila. Andami nagsasabi ang ganda daw ng mga kuha. Lalo na nung pre-nup ko. Naalala ko, umuulan pa nung prenup ko but still nakuhanan pa rin ng maganda. Kaka-post lang ng photos ko sa FB nila www.facebook.com/Peekxel . Waiting pa ako sa SDE Video na maipost. HMUA - APPLE B MAKE-UP ARTISTRY by Apple Boticario www.facebook.com/AppleBmua 10/10
- Na-GGSS ako!  Ang ganda-ganda ng make-up ko. Super satisfied. Highly recommended.

Preparation venue: WINFORD HOTEL 10/10
- Ok kausap, hindi mahigpit sa pagpasok ng food. Downside lang is may oras lang ang pictorial. 2 hours na magkasunod kaya need talaga i-maximize. But still, highly recommended.

Church: SAN ROQUE CATHEDRAL (CALOOCAN) 9/10
- Ok naman ang church during process ng documents ko and on wedding day mismo. Yun nga lang medyo masungit ang mga tao sa simbahan. And wala sila checklist ano ba dapat ko i-provide. Kelangan talaga mag-ask para wala makalimutan.

Venue and Catering: V GARDENS 7/10
- Accommodating naman sila. May food tasting din pero sa actual day, iba na ang lasa ng food. IDK bakit ganon eh same menu naman ang kinuha ko sa restaurant nila and masarap food sa resto nila. Nasunod naman lahat ng request ko except sa additional hall na gusto ko i-rent pero ayaw nila ibigay. Wala naman gumamit na kasabay namin on the day . Siksikan tuloy ang guests ko though kasya nman pero it would have been better if na-grant nila ang request ko for additional hall. Willing to pay naman ako. Sila din ang nag-provide ng sound system at projector and maayos naman. Isa pang nakakadismaya is naubos agad ang kanin. Imagine? Rice pa ang unang naubos. Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng ganun.

Cake: MABINI BAKESHOP 10/10
- Hindi nasunod ang gusto ko na bottom layer lang ang edible. Pero masarap talaga ang cake nila. Hindi ko nga lang nailagay yung topper ko dahil may design sa ibabaw mismo ng cake which is sabi ko wag lagyan dahil may topper ako na ilalagay. But still dahil masarap ang cake nila, highly recommended pa rin sila.

The rest of suppliers were sponsored and DIY. Thankful ako sa mga friends and love ones na tumulong. At least ngayon nakakahinga na ng maluwag.

I forgot pala!

This is the last supplier I booked. And super rush na talaga. Imagine 1 week na lang wedding ko na pero I'm still on the hunt for my entourage flowers. Hahaha!

I went around Dangwa and saw them.

Entourage Flowers: ROGER FLOWER SHOP 10/10
They gave me a super affordable price and even demonstrated me their designs and mix and match ng mga flowers to achieve my peg. They also gave me free bridal car flower (Wow!) I want a cascading bouquet sana kaso I'm a bit clumsy, baka wala pa sa church nasira ko na. And dahil near lang sa Dangwa ang preps ko, free delivery na. And maaga sila. Highly recommended!
