Sir CH, baka nasgot nyo na po to before pero ask ko po, I remember you said na pag nagagalit burst of temper, whatever positive things or energies you accumulated nag-lolower sya or nawawala. Pano po ba ang most effective way of controlling the first reaction?

I read somewhere or napanood ko ba yung video na instead of getting angry focus on your positive intention daw and your desires parang I shift yung energy? Tama po ba yun? Kasi personally my first nature is mainis lalo na in traffic or when dealing with difficult people. I have actually improved a bit na, but of course like what you constantly espouse, we have to continuously evolve (sabi nga ni MSC - matatapos lang yan if wala ng karma and perfect na)

Global Warming.

I think what Filipinos are experiencing, specially those in the cities, are more on irresponsibility than global warming. I visited cagayan a few months ago and it was cool over there and was very hot in Manila.

Manila is a concrete jungle. due to the large amount of concrete used, the city has its own climate.  this why in many countries, they have parks per suburb so the land could breathe and there would be fresh air. parks also become homes for animals even if they're in the middle of highly urbanized areas.

then everything else is pretty basic: no discipline in throwing trash, lack of a good garbage disposal and recycling facilities. no city planning. no discipine. politics (ie scrapping of good projects).  sanga na yan.

Essential Oils

if it works for you. but me, i dont use anything at all. halos zen na ang practice ko. the less "gadgets" the better.

if you can reach stillness without any aids. the better. cheaper. di ba?

reminds me of one time, we were doing group meditation then suddenly mayroon pala sa kapitbahay na nag turn on ng power tool. e di ang ingay.

after the session many complained. hindi daw sila naka meditate. when they asked me i said it was beautiful. how so? sabi ko, kasi dati nag practice ako mag meditate while chaotic ang environment. i was able to learn how to pull myself in a busy environment.  walang hassle di ba?
so sa akin lang, though these things can very much help, the more self reliant your, the better.

Anger

well...even masters get angry lol.

its one of the last things we have to let go, and should keep on improving as much as we can.

one time i realized i had to "act angry" when im with my employees (in the phils). i was 22 then. i overheard kasi one employee telling another that he messed up, and the reply was, "okay lang yan, hindi naman nagagalit si Sir."  after hearing that i had to act "angry" but detached.  then later kausapin ulit. not saying its right, but thats just me. you can have a play with words and tone.
the thing here is, everything is a work in progress. you learn by inner reflection. minsan, trial and error.

Yes, just as how akthung shared ay less is better.  Learn and practice too - makes me wonder no one has yet to share if they scanned yun video that akthung shared.  Most of all ay take notes. 

When one says na challenged na siya ngayon pa lang kahit hindi pa Ghost Month ay that is good - dahil alam mo na challenged ka na nga.  So ano ang dapat mo gawin?  Do you throw in the towel o adapt and improve?

Following this thread, been a silent reader lang kasi nung una. Had a consultation with city hunter and so far, still on track pa naman sa mga remedies na nabigay nya. Anyway wala namang mawawala if I follow the recommendations to mitigate the effects of inauspicious months.

Today, 22 August 2017, is the first day of the Ghost Month for this year.  May the Force be with you!

tee hee!! Natawa na naman ako sa statement mo sir CH "May the force be with you", akala ko sasabihin mo "Welcome to the dark side."

Btw sir CH may itatanong lang po ako, i have a friend na may "eyebrow clinic", yung nag ta-tattoo ng kilay. Kasama rin ang facial services.

Nag start siya ng construction ng clinic first week ng August, and because may mga delays sa construction natatakot siya na umabot ng Ghost Month yung opening ng clinic niya.

What she did was kahit na hindi pa fully na construct yung clinic, nag open siya last August 18, just to say na hindi siya inabutan ng Ghost Month

Another thing is that after ng clinic opening niya hindi siya nag operate ng clinic ng August 18, 19, 20 kasi ginagawa pa yung clinic niya.

So ask ko lang sir CH, was she "really" able to save her clinic from opening during Ghost Month?

If not sir CH, may remedy ba? But if she was able to save it, im happy for her.

You cannot completely "save" anything come Ghost Month - period.  What one can do is to mitigate the effects.  Feel free to quote me on this.

The effect of Ghost Month is truly weird more so as Fire Year ngayon.  Though the official start ng Ghost Month is August 22, 2017 for this year ay if you will check the news ay a lot of unwanted surprises popped up.  Sa world news ay iyong mga gumawa na naman ng terrorist attack by injuring and killing people using a vehicle sa Spain.

If we are going technical ay ang August 18, 2017 ay hindi pa under ng Ghost Month.  But if you are to go beyond what is on the books and apply what life has given as experiences masasabi mo ay debatable.

Yun opening niya can also be questioned.  I will only answer the basics here ha as this is really pro level.  Maraming factors need to weigh.  Was that day, time and those present supportive of her (and her elements.)  Needed rin to check kung what was set o used on that day helpful or not. 

To make a long story short ay hindi naman bawal to have a proper opening after Ghost Month.  Yun nga lang sabi ko kung kinakabahan na kayo sa Ghost Month ay wala pa iyan pagpasok ng 8th lunar month for this year.  Per math it would be more "exciting."  As there will be other factors that may yet to be considered, like Mercury being in retrograde uli kaya causing problems with communications between people - pero hindi na ito feng shui, ay measures na lang ang dapat I-focus muna.  One of which na I shared already: iwasan ang pork.

Mahirap nga yun situation ninyo.  You need to have them moved out but na-timing sa bad period.  This is not easy to answer in truth.

You can kick them out now but you need to keep the place vacant and bawal rin to fix anything for 100 days.  Debatable if cleaning the place is going to be okay or not as depende sa kausap mo na feng shui master.  For me it should be okay.

Hi Sir CH. Ngaun lang po ulit ako nakapagbasa dito sa thread at madami pa ko dapat ibackread.
Immediate concern ko lang po sa ngaun kase nagbabalak si hubby na mag-resign, di pa lang sya ganon ka-decided nong nakaraan kase di po kami financially prepapared. Gusto na po nyang mag-focus sa work-at-home job (sa forex) at nakukuha naman na po nya ang concept at flow ng market. Concern ko lang po kase bukas na daw sya magsasabi, kumbaga pasok sya sa ghost month pagpasa nya ng resignation.  Nabanggit ko din po sa kanya na after ng ghost month nya na lang i-date ang effectivity ng last day nya na  Sept 30.  Contractor po ng telecom ang company nila at naka-assign sya sa Pre-sales team. (sensya na po kung sakaling mejo magulo ba o di detailed info ko, mejo masakit po kase ulo). Salamat po sa magiging response nya Sir CH.

If your husband has thought it out well ay whatever we opine won't easily discourage him.  The critical thing to keep in mind is to maintain the support you give him - and him to you.

Quitting during Ghost Month is technically bawal.  But we need to adapt to times - as iyon ang theme ng feng shui.  I have no idea how forex does but with how things are ay I do wish him luck.  For I too wanted to break into the stock market but can't yet.  Going back sa quitting ay since he has began before GM ang pamalit niya sa current job niya ay lusot na siya on one factor.  By rule rin ay you give a 30-day notice not unless there is something new na hindi ako updated on when you are to quit.  The only other thing I know na ma-cover iyon ay i-label ka na AWOL which is bad.

I would go for that 30-day notice rather than quit just like that.  For what the flow was for the first part of the year is not going to be how it will be for the latter half.  If you will take note of how things went the past few years ay a lot of weird surprises usually happen sa latter half of the year.

sir ch, okay lang po ba na magpacut ng hair basta hindi pasok sa ghost month? nung 18 po kasi nagpacut ako. mejo weird din dreams ko lately. yung isa asa isang resort ako tapos yung water ng pool, super murky and dark ( as in maitim at hindi makikita yung bottom) there are peoplle swimming tapos yung iba asa floater/salbabida pero ako nung nakita ko yung water hindi na ako lumusong. nung tinanong ako ng friend ko na kasama ko doon sabi ko baka kasi malaglag glasses ko hindi ko makikita ). tapos mejo parang maulan din hehe. may scene naman na bumili daw kami ni mama ng madaming bread tapos asa isang room ako or pantry tapos andun lahat ng breads a binili namin. kaso di ko malalaa if kumuha ako at kumain. naalala ko lang na madaming madaming bread tapos namimili ako. nung isang araw naman may dumapo sa hand ko na parang black butterfly tapos matakot ako kasi ang fuzzy nya sa feeling hehe tapos pinaaalis ko kay mama yung dumapo hehe. ayoko lang kasi yung feeling na yun.

Hi Sir CH,

Nag-start po sya mag-trade sa forex last year, ngaun lang nya natutukan at mejo lamang na gain nya kesa losses unlike dati  Sabi nya kanina next week na daw sya magpapaalam ng formal sa office nila. Nakapagpahimig na din naman po sya sa HR nila at ilang officemates na balak nyang magresign. Isang reason din po kaya nya gustong mag-resign na, iba na management nila, nabili ang company nila ng Chinese at madaming nabago, mejo naging strict na daw po. Kinausap naman po sya ng Country Manager nila, plan ng company para sa kanya pero dahil nga po sa mga bagong rules kaya parang nawawalan din daw po sya ng gana.

Suportado ko naman po sya sa decision nya kase naniniwala ako ng magiging successful naman po sya sa forex, lalo nakikita ko sa kanya ang eagerness nya at determination. Pinsan nya po parang 2years na mula ng mag-resign at un din po ang pinagkakaabalahan nya.

Five years ago po, humingi ako ng advice sa nyo regarding sa marriage problem namin mag-asawa. Nagpapasalamat po ako ng sobra sa nyo sa laki ng naging improvement ng marriage namin. 2014 po nang bumalik dito si hubby. Hindi po naging madali umpisa namin, pero by God's grace, naayos po pagsasama namin. May mga problema pero mas madali ng maayos. Salamat po talaga Sir CH

Your update that you sought advise from me 5 years ago answered a question of mine.  I was wondering if I am really helping people with what I do and should I keep on this path or quit na.  It is good to hear that things were fixed and improved between you and your special someone

Yun question mo is actually tricky - if I haven't mentioned it before.  By basic rule nothing must be began nor ended during Ghost Month.  However, ang worst things usually happen from the 15th lunar day, September 5 for this year, to the last day of the Ghost Month.  Kung maalala ninyo yun Quirino Grandstand Hostage Incident happened on the Feast of the Hungry Ghosts aka 15th lunar day ng Ghost Month back then.  Anything that can go wrong WILL go wrong.

However, may other factor rin ang Ghost Month.  Its like karma season.  Isipin mo yun Christmas theme na good boys and good girls get to be visited by Santa.  In this case ay bad boys and bad girls will be visited by karma.  And good ones will be visited by it too.  This is why there is NO escape.  Neither strength, power, wealth nor fame will save someone from the effects ng Ghost Month.  The only thing that one can do is mitigate yun bad things.  This is why dapat regular tayo sa cleansing and being good.

Ghost Month rin is like Lent.  Time for us to reflect, seek forgiveness, do penance and reform for the better.  So planning changes is not bad.  Its just that yun timing must not be during Ghost Month kung maari.

May cases wherein luck is acquired during Ghost Month.  Remember lang ninyo ang yin and yang.  Balance your luck with charity work - at obviously ikagat ninyo ako sa shawarma! 

So going back to the question with regards kay hubby mo ay he has been into forex for quite a while ay pasado yun plan niya to shift full time to that.  Kung maari nga lang yun resignation niya would take effect on or after September 22.  September 19 ang official end ng Ghost Month but the residual effects linger for a few days kasi.  And during the period he waits for his resignation to take effect ay do his best.  As in really his best despite all those negative things the new managers are.  Para walang baon na negative energy mula sa effects ng Ghost Month.   

Do note lang na dapat rin may Plan B kayo.  As in where do you put those earnings so that secured even better ang future ninyo.  Fire year is so hard to chart as to what to expect.  Isipin nnyo first half of the lunar year ang daming mga unusual events.  One of which is yun sa Marawi City. 

Season of the Damned ang Ghost Month thus we are encouraged to do charity work.  That works better in appeasing those damned souls.  In a way live the Word of God.  By deeds done ika nga. 
Take note rin na help only those worthy and deserving.  Yes, may mga tao na hindi deserving as they have to learn their lessons yet.  An example would be do not give to a streetkid your pocket change when it is very likely that kid will just use it to buy rugby o drugs.  Or that beggar na may baby na dala who is unusually asleep the whole day.  Send help na lang to our warriors in Marawi or such like Duterte's Kitchen.  Kung malaki ang budget ninyo - I'm assuming this post will be read by others too - then donate what is badly needed sa mga public schools, hospitals, etc. natin.   

In short, decide not just when to hand over the resignation - though best kung before September 1, 2017 if he really needs to hand it over soon as 5 days before 15th lunar month ay erratic energies go on high gear na - but also what is your Plan B and anong charity work ang maging focus ninyo.  Do note na sa church you can also support the different programs they have.  Tithing rin tawag doon.  Mayroon for seminarians, for feeding programs, repairs and renovations, etc.

Noted po sa mga binigay nyong tips and ideas about sa charity work  May mga charity po sa church na ina-attend-nan namin kahit sa konteng donation ay malaki ang maiitulong.

Inulit-ulit ko basahin reply nyo para sure wala ako namiss na details. Regarding po sa advice nya kung kelan magpasa ng resignation letter si hubby, nabanggit ko kagabi pero parang di sya ganong nag-aagree sa idea ng Ghost Month (gaya po nong wag mag-start or end ng project / idea po ng resignation nya). Nabanggit ko sa kanya na kung decided na sya, magpasa na sya before Sept 1 o kung hindi, ay after na ng GM. Praying po na i-guide sya na God sa magiging decision nya.

Ang initial plan nya po before, umuwi kami ng probinsya, mag business na don, may pwesto pong paupahan si MIL na binibigay naman nya sa min kung decided kami umuwi na. Nong huli sila nagkausap ni MIL, nabanggit MIL na ayaw nya kami tumira kasama nila kase madaling ma-distract pamangkin ni hubby, baka di makapag-contrate at maging puro laro sila ng mga anak namin. Which is pabor sa kin (personally  ) kase ayaw ko po makipisan sa mga in-laws ko, mababait po sila un nga lang may mga time na di maiiwasan na may mapapansin at mapapansin sila at ayaw ko po magkaroon kami ng gap or issue. May in-offer naman po si MIL kung san kami titira pero ayaw naman ni hubby don (choosy pa sya  )
