Hi sir CH, were planning to buy a condo kaso ang layout nya tapat ng toilet yung kitchen and lavatory. 30sqm sya with 2 bed, and from what I read hindi maganda yung magkatapat ang toilet and lutuan. Yung area kasi ng condo gusto talaga namin dahil accessible sa lahat at malapit lang sa kamag anak pero iyon nga yung layout ganoon. Is there any remedy sa ganoong layout? Thanks!

Hi, airish_2.

Yes.  You are correct that having the toilet tapat sa lutuan is uber bad.  The least you will experience in such a setup is mabilis lumabas ang perang pinaghirapan.  I really have no idea why some forget about the lessons of old when its part of their study naman :(

A remedy is like a band-aid.  It would help but the wound would still be there.  Its not a cure.  The remedy is to let something else absorb the chi flow as well as try to slow down the flow.  Plants, design, lighting and syempre daily prayers plus regular cleansing.  Iyan yun mga remedies but do not expect any enhanced luck.  If I were you use this day, Sunday, to meditate first.  Maybe there is a reason why you took note of that and gave pause.

Hi, itt.

You can opt to mix honey naman on your food.  Or drinks.  Parang weird nga lang when applied to pancakes.  Ginawa ko minsan palaman sa pandesal pero di match.  Well, will try uli baka lang naninibago. :)

It's true, we can't simply just run away from our problems. I am an escapist, since childhood I tend to leave everytime something goes worse. My clinical depression and anxiety still bothers me, minsan I wish I am normal just like others. It seems kasi na ako lang lagi nakaka-feel ng burden, ako lang nagsasacrifice tapos yung totoong love na hinahanap ko hindi ko naman makuha, lalo sa family. I am a Fire Rabbit, I have always been an achiever, once I set my mind on something, i always tend to get it. But something is always missing. Naghahanap ako ng Healing of Family here in US  specifically, Baltimore area. I know, root cause ng problems ko is yung karma na minana ko sa family. Kaya minsan parang its hard to forgive. Napahaba ang vent ko. Plan ko ngayon during spare time ko is to make my own herb garden.

I am just like you, I can totally relate. I don't have anything concrete to say to help you because I'm struggling myself, but just hang in there. Malay natin, the solution to our problems is parating na.

Hi, kym and hisana :)

Lahat tayo are different and troubled in some way kaya do not think for a moment na you are alone with such a burden.  Some try to hide it and hide it well.  Di ba si Robin Williams (RIP) suffered too despite him giving laughter, joy and even inspiration to many.

Sa mga problems sabi ko nga often ay make a list.  Then review that list as to what can be worked on now.  Don't just focus on the big ones which would require special action to correct it.  Hindi ba akthung shared na may different kinds of karma.  So let's use that knowledge to help improve our lives.

I agree not a lot seem familiar sa healing of the family tree prayer.  But maybe some can share so that we can share it to the priests that they be made aware of it.  If there is a manual that needs to be used to guide them on this then let's figure out what that is and maybe even gift a priest one so that he can start helping more in a totally different level.

Maganda iyang herb garden idea.  It will not only help relax you but it has many other purposes.  Hindi lang defense against the unseen and unusual harm but medicinal na ay pwede pa isama sa pagluto!  Some can even be used for pest control as ayaw nila yun strong smell, etc.

OT: Basil seems hard to grow here.  Sa weather ba natin kasi or soil?

maybe you can try yung seaweed based fertilizer for sweet basil. yung malakas mag pa leafs yung parang "powerfeed"

ang alam ko new research says that you can grow any fruit or vegetable in any place in the world as long as you know the exact nutrients they want. i have a friend that grows strawberries and exotic chillies in his backyard.

also herbs ata love to be placed in well drained pots, ayaw ata nila yung nalulubog sila sa tubig

Hello po... I have been lurking for so long. Thank you so much for all the lessons shared here.
Sa basil po, yung nabibili sa palengke, kinuha ko yung stems, tinanim sa lupa, and luckily, may nag grow din sa kanila, after several weeks yun.  And I'm so happy na mukhang healthy naman yung 2 na nabuhay, now with many leaves.  Konting tiyaga lang, experiment on the soil, kasi medyo clay sa amin at sobrang tigas ng lupa (Antipolo) so dinagdagan ko ng buhangin. Looks like the plants were able to breathe. :)

Hi, akthung, okonomami and itt.

Is the Thai basil the one na may butas ang leaves naturally?  Anyhow, yun sweet basil namin most like ko siya though mukhang the conditions sa lugar namin are not helpful for it.  Kapag mainit ay sobrang init kasi :(  We moved it but the dogs and even rats feast on it (as well as other basil.)  Mukhang alam nila naturally na good for health.

Hmm.  Research ko nga more iyan about the proper nutrients.  So want to have a nice mini garden pa naman.  Ha ha, test run for the time na mag-focus for want of a farm.

Will definitely check out yun palengke namin for such na baka may mga with stems pa :)

Hi, hisana (and mga sis plus bros.)

Before anything else ay let me share this tidbit of warning na may pekeng sea salt rin being sold sa palengke.  I used to buy from the cart vendor as sigurado ako real sea salt.  Yun lang sa recent purchase weird na yun texture.  Fake salt does not seem to dissolve and may parang coating na naalis.  Looks translucent by then.

When you've done the list ng problems mo ay make another naman as to what makes you joyful and feel a winner.  It may not be that big of a thing to others but isama mo sa list mo.  Let's say you make really good pancakes.  So isama mo sa list mo iyon ng good o happy things.

There is no shortcut kasi in fixing things.  We have to work our way up para when you've solved things ay sigurado ka na solid ito.  Shortcuts leave gaps which provide openings for future problems.

Wala naman masama to retreat from the challenges.  Heck, sa military they have a term pa for it - strategic withdrawal.  The difference kasi is to learn from it and be more prepared next time.  Do note na hindi always makuha na agad sa next try.  This is where those who support and properly motivate plus guide you come into play.

Hi Sir CH,

ask ko lang, okay lang ba na nasa nakatalikod sa pinto yung office desk? i Mean yung upuan ko nakatalikod mismo sa pinto mga 8-10 steps away lang.

Regarding basil: need to trim it from time to time. pag namulaklak sya may tendency na mamatay sya. kaya hindi advisable na palakihin sya. and dilig lang ng saktong dilig sa morning.

Hi, mga sis.

Lahat tayo dumadaan sa pagsubok sa buhay.  Some lang find it a real challenge yun tests they get as compared to others.  This is where your support base becomes very important.  It may not exactly get to solve things but it would ease things as you plow through it.  But as much as possible do not opt for dark rituals.  Or using prayers in a bastardized format to try to find an answer.  Walang charm or talisman exists that can do away with all your problems in an instant.  Not unless you are foolish enough to sell your soul for a quack remedy - and dark arts measures are quack remedies dahil effectiveness of such is ALWAYS in doubt.

Challenges happen dahil its something we have to face.  Maaring part of karma at maaring something else.  Even if there may not be a way to do away with it ay may ways to MITIGATE its effects.  I direct most of you to avail of the Sacrament of Confession, do good deeds, fast, meditate (and akthung has shared many links on this), give you basics some won't even share to help give you something to begin working with.

FYI.  Ilan pa ba sa inyo continue to keep the toilet cover and CR door closed?  I've posted that sa early threads pa lang.

Remember, you can only be merited success if you persevered.  That means you need to sacrifice and do work.  Do not steal what others have worked for dahil in the end it will just destroy you.

Hi, itt.

Hmm.  Hindi pa kami umabot na nagkaroon ng flowers mga basil namin.  Usually our dogs (and some pesky rats) make sure that such plants are put into good use kasi :P

Will take note of the need to trim regularly any herb plant.

Hi, kiaramae_0403.

Having your back to any opening is bad - uber bad.  If it cannot be helped then have at least a plant near that opening - any indoor plant is okay.  Or you can opt to simply have either a bowl with some rice grains or sea salt near you.  Do note to check if these are real, yun rice and salt.  Nagkalat mga peke of those na kasi :P

Baka one of the reason ito bakit laging masakit yung likod ko :(
pati yung finances ko medyo laging kapos :(

Hi Sir CH - tagal ko na po di nag-po-post but I still read through what is shared here especially yung mga teachings mo. I hope you don't mind, but I've actually started to maintain a small notebook na may notes of the thing's you've (and also the other GTalkers) shared para easy access.

Ano po ang ibig nyong sabihin na bastardized format of prayers? And when you say dark rituals - what are those po? Like kulam? Or anything that wishes ill of people?

And yung last statement nyo po above, really hit home for me kasi kaning umaga lang po I was talking to my husband na masama ang loob kasi yung ideas and proposals nya for work, ginagamit and inaangkin ngayon ng isang dati nyang tao and passing it off as their work/deliverables. Sabi ko rin po sa kanya hayaan na nya dahil kung ano man po yung ninakaw sa kanya babalik sa kanya one way or another baka 100 fold pa and the same din dun sa kumuha ng idea nya.

Hi Sir CH -- Yes, it's the weather. Mapresko ang place ng boyfriend ko so he was able to cultivate it really good, as in it became a pest already in his garden. Kaso this summer, unti-unti silang nabubulok so he had to water them twice a day. Same for cacti, they may be hardy in hot and humid conditions but they flower mostly in cool/breezy conditions. However you can make them adapt to your environment as long as (1) proper nourishment can be provided for your plant and (2) you can artificially change their environment and slowly change them to your natural one.

We were able to successfully make our prickly pear adapt to daily watering because of that. :D

----

Sigh I have to agree. I'm also an escapist when it comes to problems. Minsan nga when I feel heavy about my work I would always ask my manager if I can take a leave. Ayan tuloy nauubos na ang VLs and SLs ko. Pero yeah, meditating and at paying all the good things forward helps. Haha.

Hi,  kiaramae_0403.

I would prefer you opt for ceramic or glass but if not paper cup or bowl will suffice.  Huwag plastic kung maari.  You can opt to recycle those glass jars for sandwich spreads naman.

Sa rice OR salt ay its up to sa inyo.  Do note na ang salt CAN cause corrosion so be wise where you place that.  Rice grains is preferable though mouse and rats may feed on that.

When our body gets sick ay its because we are absorbing too much or putting too much on it.  Here is where basics ng feng shui comes in.  De-clutter, fix, improve, etc.  That also applies sa atin.  In a way ay we need to defrag our area as well as ourselves.

Hi, nettai.

Take note of these.  Thinking of fixing up what plants we have as well as tidying things up.  Tapusin ko lang fixing some important electronic stuff pa as its slowing down work.

When it comes to our problems like those wherein we want to avoid it ay its a situation many face.  The thing is we have identified it as a problem so its still is a good thing.  Yun lang we are stumped as to how to solve it.  So we need to dig deep or fish for ideas.  Ang important ay do we learn from these to enable us to adapt to such situations faster in the future?  If kahit partly yes ay good na iyon.  Rome was not built in a day di ba.

Isipin na lang ninyo ako alam ko yun plants, herbs, etc. can be of help but find it hard to figure out how to make them do well especially in our weather.  Lalo na here sa polluted urban area natin :(  So your shared inputs are a great help already for someone like me who is stumped on those subjects.

Hi, cldy_1981.

That is good.   Kasi we also need to update our remedies as they do require fine tuning from time to time.  Which is why sana others here would share their observations, thoughts and even questions.  Like sufficient na ba for many ang Level 2 ng salt solution.  Bitin ba ang Level 3?  Does Bone Breathing Exercise help and not just for bones?

With regards naman sa bastaradized format ng prayers ay simply think of it as a weapon - which in a way it is.  A weapon when handled right by someone of proper morals can help enforce justice and protect the peace.  But in the wrong hands it can bring about destruction, death, etc.  Prayers are normally to help us reflect on our actions, be humbled, repent and seek balance for all.  So when wrongly used it can be made to bring about a different thing.

Hindi lang for wishing ill to someone but also to gain a want.  Hindi lang material want but pati mga things like fame, beauty, power and even love na bawal.

Kulam and such are simply manipulating the chi.  Maraming approach to this.  Like kung sa exorcism usually you encounter ay prayers ay may method rin which does not involve such.  Isa na of that ay yun acupuncture.

Bastardized format ay maraming versions.  Mayroon yun pabaligtad gawin.  Hindi ba ang regular mass we begin with forgiveness, healing, cleansing then end with blessing and thanks.  The reversing of that ay what do you think will produce?  Another would be adding a word and/or action at a certain part to manipulate it to what you want - as in worldly want.

To those who profited from the blood and sweat of others without giving back to those who contributed ay some may opine bakit ang bagal ng karma.  This is going deep but ang quick answer is this.  Hindi ba ninyo naisip na mitigated disaster yun nangyari sa inyo.  Na due to your actions, deeds, etc. ay naka-quota ka na sa suffering mo/ninyo this way your future (and bigger) blessings won't suffer deductions.  Na yun masamang nilalang who stole what you worked hard for may gain momentary happiness but that same energy which drove him to do that ay would it help sustain him/her in the long run?  I've seen corrupt politicos feed dirty money to their family and in the end naubos rin lahat iyon in the attempt to prolong his life.  Mayroon rin yun binili ang mga kaibigan at pag-ibig but deep inside that person is never fully happy.  There are those who profit immensely from the pain and sorrow ng mga tao tapos magtataka kahit walang family history ay they suddenly suffer it too.  At least may mga who dabbled sa dark arts due to anger, curiosity or sadness but realized mali and want to be saved before its too late.  For that this is where confession and penance helps.

We attract these malas to our lives because we have something in us which does that.  Tignan mo yun mga boss na naninigaw sa mga tao nila.  Do you think they inspire people to love them and follow their lead?  Di ba hindi.  But those who are able to suggest a different approach hindi ba you respect them even more in the end.  Here is where some changes must happen so we attract the right kind of luck towards us.

Work with what you can.  Sabi ko nga i-list natin yun mga ewan sa buhay natin.  Tapos what can we start on na?  Why do you think I often suggest plants?  Para something some of you can focus on to improve hindi lang yun chi but also to help bring a sense of calm and accomplishment.  Pwede rin naman time to check ano ba ang dapat isama sa garage sale.  If these are not pwede ay why not learn a new skill.  Something to help improve your positive feeling.  Learn to drive, sing, draw, cook or even defend yourself.  Pwede rin naman do volunteer work.  Go help out in your community tidying it up or such.  Or teach mga out-of-school youth or assist mga elders abandoned by their families.

And adapt to inspire others.  Like maybe that dress you've worn only once can now be used again when you give a speech before those lacking direction yet are still motivated with hope.  Yun make up skills ninyo combined with that said dress, etc. can make a smashing impression.  I've seen that in many and actually wonder why they feel sad o such when I can see the success in them - well, I guess that is part of my mission rin in life.

In a way hindi lang de-frag but even reboot minsan.  At least hindi total palit ng OS as all it needs for most is simply tweak things a bit.

Do note na this are just the first steps towards fixing things.  But taking that first step is a good thing.

Hi muli, mga sis.

Balikan ko lang iyong having an opening lalo na a door behind you.  Yes, it can cause problems pati of the physical nature.  Hindi lang yun chi kasi na flowing strongly towards you but also what you will be doing in reaction to whatever would come through that door.  There is another option if the rice or salt option is not pwede.  You can opt for a round mirror or any small mirror before you placed so that you can see what's behind you.  Do note sinabi ko small mirror ha.  Though the more proper answer is if pwede arrange it so that at least hindi naman directly sa likod ninyo yun opening or there is a way to block the direct view of that from your seat o location.

On the note about escaping one's problems - which all of us suffered in one form or another - ay this is my advise.  Write down sa left half of a clean sheet of paper (not computer, phone or tablet) ng problems bugging you.  Then on the right half of the same sheet of paper ay what are the positive things you can do to give you a sense of accomplishment, peace, etc.  From that list identify what you can work on NOW.  It may not seem much yun mga kaya mo gawin but once you see that problems are being crossed out one by one and yun happiness side naman grows and truly helps you ay that should state how well you are on the road to recovery.

And do remember that on each step of success ay balance it with thanks and good deeds.

Plus, before anyone says its so hard to succeed in life ay basahin muna ninyo yun talang buhay ni Abraham Lincoln.

OT: When (ha ha, super positive thinking) I get uber rich real soon hayaan ninyo I'll play as bida to a program na mas matindi pa sa The Profit.
