Thanks mga sis. Sorry dont know how to tag you here.  Maganda nga ang video nila. Havent seen mayad photos pa. H2b paid the downpayment already for all. The photo, video and prenup shoot too. Para less stress narin daw to look for photog who will do the E shoot.

hearty2017 haha glad to hear that Sis, medyo di chatty si Law pero responsive naman. Medyo naiilang nga ako kasi though di naman snob pero super professional ng approach nya, kabaligtaran sa video team namin. Ngayon ko nga lang nalaman na from Toto Villaruel sya.

Medyo nagtaas na nga rate nya, pero nakuha ko pa din sya at an affordable rate, di ko na kinuha yung printed photos nya, we plan to DIY that, or kami mismo hahanap ng albums etc and mamili ng photos na iprint.

Naalala ko lang sa cousin ng wedding ko nung 2014 Law Tapalla was one of the photographers (Nicolai Melicor Team) and even Toto Villaruel was there. Magaganda yung shots and it was even featured sa B&B! That time nasa 20k plus something lang yung package ni Nicolai and si Toto ata nasa 50k. Ngayon ang mamahal na nila and si Law naman may sarili ng name. Ang galing at nakakatuwa yung success nila.

^ Sis siguro nga wait mo muna si Ghe.. Sabagay maganda din na parang combine yung wedding film + SDE. Tsaka 10k naman is not bad na!

Oo nga sis. Pagisipan namin. Nakakatuwa pa kasi kahit after a month ng wedding ka palang magdecide na gusto mo ng wedding film, okay lang kay Ghe kasi he keeps all raw videos, tapos add'l 10k pa din babayaran mo. Wait muna kami reply ni Ghe, baka kasi magka shoot siya the following day ng wedding kaya hindi pa siya makapagcommit sa amin.

^ Yup kasi maganda yung location kaya masarap nga gawan ng wedding film yan! Sana wala sya shoot nun. Exciting yan!! Parang pag ganyan ata plus 2 minutes sa SDE.

For photographers/videographers who are oot..how much is the estimate total cost of airfare and accomodation?

Hey @ubec.bride It depends on the location. Sorry did you mean P/V based in Manila (I'm assuming) and their OOT fee? It really depends. For our video, it was as high as a 25K OOT fee for the first day but it usually tapers for the 2nd and 3rd day to 10K. But take note, its just the OOT fee, and most of the OOT shoots take 2 days at least to maximize the location.

hello sis and brides to be! i dont usually rant but what metrophoto and oly ruiz did to us was unacceptable. i know they are really good at what they do but what they did in my situation was utterly unprofessional.

We were choosing a lot of photographers and finally we slimmed it down to metrophoto oly ruiz as we really loved his work. We had constant communication with his assistant sheila. We even met Oly to get to know him and let him know that we are sure of booking him.

 However, after making a deposit, Sheilla called us that oly ruiz was booked already! just hearing her tell us that caused alot of undue stress! We were dropped just like that. After learning the unfortunate news, we called Oly and he only said he thought we were not interested but we explicitly said we will make a deposit when we were having our meeting with him. It was very rude for them to do that ,for someone so well known in the industry. Their lack of class and professionalism caused us unnecessary anxiety and stress as we are now left looking again for a photographer with similar style since we already politely let go of other photographers who also had the decency of asking us before booking another client.

We are very sad to have been a victim of their unprofessional customer service. I had so much respect for their team and they broke my heart.

^sis ShoBee sa mga sikat kasi na P/V or pati HMUA, usually kahit sinabi mong iboobook mo sila at sure ka pero hanggat walang DP hindi sure reserved sa'yo. So most likely kung sino yung unang makakapagDP sakanila mapupunta yung slot. Ganun talaga labanan ngayon sa mga kilala. Pero so sorry pa din na nangyari sa'yo yan. Pero at least sa mga next suppliers mo, be prepared na lang din with your DP lalo na pagsure ka naman na talaga.

Hi sis ShoBee! Sobrang unfair at nakakalungkot naman yan. Minsan talaga it's really, really hard to choose kung attitude ang basehan. Kasi sa magaling, madami naman sila eh pero yung may malasakit parang paunti na ng paunti. I really hope na kahit sikat na sila maging fair pa din sila. Kaya nga may pencil book eh. Sana di sa DP ang basehan kasi kung yun ang basis eh di ibig sabihin pera-pera na lang. Grabe super mahal pa naman nila and I think they are the most expensive photog today, but still sila ang pinili mo. Sana nga lalu sila maging humble na kahit ang mahal nila mayroon willing to spend that much for them. Hugggs sis!! Try Nelwin Uy, Lito Sy, and Benjie Tionco. Awkward naman if you will book Erron Ocampo since under one company sila. Haaay.. Ok lang yan sis.. God will give you something way, way better!

Hi mga sis.

Has anyone here know or booked Vital Image Photo? Their pictures look great at magaganda yung reviews nila sa facebook. I like their style, very natural lang and candid. And I think their style look very similar to Law Tapalla and Nicolai Melicor, who is actually my first choice. Kaso we are working on a tight budget, so we want to get someone cheaper, without compensating the quality of the photos. My only problem is that I have not seen any reviews outside of FB so I am a little worried.

Also, any good recommendations for the videographer? Sobrang nahihirapan ako maghanap ng magaling na videographer, but also within our budget. We are working on a budget of 40K including na ang OOT fees.

Hi sis mmcat ako din tight budget lang, suggest ko lang nabooked namin na videog si Roadtale baka magustuhan mo style nya. Wala siyang OOT fee, gas lang Pero di pa ko makapagbigay ng personal insight ko kasi sa december pa wedding namin.

@Carlyndj:  Hi Sis!! I saw na you were asking who to book for the director. Check King's profile in their website. HE IS REALLY GOOD! Even their Bora photog (Kat San Juan) who got married got him as their director. You can type in "Amazing grace Kat and Jerrold" for a sample of his work. SOBRANG GANDA!! Even Fiel, who's one of the owners, got King as their director in their wedding in Bali. Happy booking sis! Exciting yan!!!

Booked Efjay De Leon (photo) and Kreative Machines (video). Wedding date is January 13, 2018,

Efjay De Leon:
Gandang ganda lang ako sa portfolio ni Efjay. Captured talaga yung emotions sa candid shots. Yun talaga yung hinahanap ko since hindi naman kami ma-pose ni fiance. Napansin ko lang na dark na yung gradients ng photos niya unlike before which is still ok with me since I'm always on the dark side lol  Magaan kausap si Efjay, though sa chat palang kami nakakapagcommunicate, Feeling ko kasing age ko siya kasi parang same kami ng wavelength. Hehe. We got the Sweet Package which is the cheapest (30k plus 2k OOT fee to Metro Manila, Cavite-based sila). 10k ang reservation fee and nagdeposit lang kami sa bank.

Kreative Machines:
Very "couple-based" mga SDEs nila and not really templated which is the reason why we booked them aside from their affordable rate. Upon watching their SDEs, they highlighted yung mga important details sa wedding, even yung candid gestures ng couple na ang lakas ng impact sa buong feel ng video na pwedeng ma-miss ng isang videographer/editor. Galing ng editing! Smooth lang din conversation namin ni Kace and thru FB chat pa lang, she's a girl by the way. It is really a good thing na all praises din si Efjay sa team nila since nakasama na niya sila sa events kaya nakapante talaga ko Got their package at 23k, no OOT fee. 5k ang RF (since they require 20% from their packages) and, same as Ejfay, we just deposited sa bank to lock our date.

Nailista ko na un mga photog na sinabi nyo and mag-shortlist na lang [textspeak!] ako after.. feeling confuse lang ako sa Ghe... is he a videographer? And anong name ng company nya?
