Sis Ziyi I'm so happy for you!! Minsan talaga ganun sis, nagbabago ang preference mo habang naiintroduce ka sa ibang suppliers. This is a good decision sis.

And yes I agree with the contracts. Dapat very keen tayo to details sa contracts natin. In our case, since SDE + raw lang package namin, they'll give us the SDE and raw files right after the wedding kaya babayaran din namin sila at the same time.

Over the weekend though, we asked them if we can do the STD which was worth 20k in the package para naman di masayang yung na dp namin na 16,800. H2b talked to her and of course she was sad that we were cancelling and we apologized for reaching that decision. So at first parang ok lang naman to avail pa the STD and she even asked kung kelan namin iischedule then sabi nya pagisipan nya and she'll get back to us. When she called back her decision was to forfeit na since di naman na sila yung kukunin namin for the wedding. There was too much cost na daw on her side; rejected inquiries etc. Frankly speaking, our wedding is still 4 months away pa and the probability of her getting a new booking on that date is malaki pa as opposed to our chances na mabalik pa yung 16,800 namin. So bottom line, para lang kami nagpamigay ng ganun kalaking pera na wala man lang sya kaeffort effort na nagawa pa for us. I'm so disappointed and what was more irritating to me was while she was talking to h2b, she couldn't talk straight and a male voice was dictating to her what to say. So parang ang dating sakin, mas nangibabaw na desisyon yung advise nung cinonsult nya kesa sa kung ano man desisyon nya..

Ang sad naman nun and the DP is not a small amount.  Sana pumayag na lang sila sa STD para both parties still gained something out of the deal.  4 to 5 hours lang naman yung STD d ba?

^Yes sis mga ganun. Usually 1 day lang naman ang schedule nya.

^Sabi mo pa sis para kang namigay ng pera! In my case I cancelled last December, 7 mos away pero hindi na kami nagtry to convert sa DP kasi nakastate sa contract namin na nonrefundable na.

Haays.. I think I should just let it go na lang and focus on the preps baka mastress pa ako at pumanget lang sa halip na glowing bride ako sa day ng kasal ko! Haha.

^^ True, saka awakward na din kung ituloy pa STD, imagine yung ilangan nyo sa shoot, medyo na turn off ako kay Hello & Co. hehe, anyways.

Just wanna share my sentiments lang with our P/V suppliers. I booked them more than a year ago pa and yung photographer namin they were just starting back then (pero part pala sila ng isang sikat ng group ng Wedding Photographers dati -- I didn't know about this nabasa ko lang dito sa GT). Gusto ko kasi sana yung rookie pa lang sa industry pero yung videographer nag start na sila to build their name. Mabait naman sila and fun ka work during our wedding kaya wala naman ako reklamo. It's just that 1 month na tomorrow since we got married pero they never posted our photos (Social Media Accounts) pero yung kasabay namin na wedding (saw the date of their hashtag kasi) pinost nila agad. At first ok lang naman wala naman issue yun kasi nga they were nice pero I've noticed na madalas naman sila mag post (ng ibang weddings) pero hindi nga lang yung sa amin, and even my relatives abroad noticed it, wala naman kami masabi or dahilan. We are not the type naman na ma-rant or confrontational kaya I don't know how to deal with this. And yes, wala pa din sa amin yung soft copy ng photos (we can wait pa naman) sana lang wag naman dumating na tapos na yung wedding high.

^ Same here, we also haven't received our photos and it's been more than a month. Have you asked them about it na? I emailed our photog and he said it's going to take some time talaga to edit all the pictures. I'm trying to be patient na lang and understand since they covered a lot of December weddings so I can only imagine the work backlog. Pero nakaka-pressure nga since everyone wants to see the pictures na.

Sis kdramaholic sad naman. Usually di ba the photos in the apv during reception yung ang pinopost ng photographer sa FB? Bakit kaya sis? Ayaw mo sila tanungin sis?


Sis littlemissbiatch, kahit ba  yung photos in your Reception AVP hindi niya nabigay? Ano yung nasa contract niyo sis?

^ To be totally honest it's okay if di pa ready yung copies kasi alam ko naman how busy they are, it's just that seeing them posting other weddings na kasabay namin or even after our wedding dun ako nasasad. Grateful kami sa backup photographers kasi sila na yung nagpopost ng personal shots nila (kasi I added them on FB) kaya may mga nakita ako pero yung sa mismong SM accounts nila wala.

Yup it was written in the contract pero wala naman kami dala USB and nakalimutan namin kaya di namin nakuha.. Ok lang naman fault namin yun. Di naman kami galit kakasad lang in a way na makita mo na ganun.. Pero happy naman kami kasi mababait sila during our wedding.

I guess more than the posting ang important naman yung output. Trying not to be jealous para di na ako ma-sad hehe

^ I get what you mean. Medyo tricky yung social media kasi hindi naman sila required to post pero at the same time medyo nakakatampo din if they don't, no?

^^ We got the SDE, pero in video format (slideshow). Our photog talaga takes a while before posting sa social media (post nya sa FB today is May 2016 pa na wedding hahaha) so I'm personally not worried naman. Naiinip lang

kdramaholic medyo sad nga, pero Sis, I've talked to my Videographer, nakabantay kasi ako sa mga gawa nila and very responsive naman sila sa queries ko, minsan may mga wedding ako napapansin na di nila pinopost sa socmed accounts nila, iba iba reasons, minsan ayaw mismo ng couple, minsan may down time daw para may enough air time yung ba couples, may na personal preference nila di ipost, may personal reason sila.

I guess, you can ask them naman, unless di pa talaga tapos yung photos nyo, so that explains it, pero kung natapos yung sa kasabay nyo, that's a bit weird. Lalo na kung yung wedding after nyo, nauna pa ipost, or isend sainyo.

Don't be shy magtanong, karapatan mo yun.

^ tama kayo di naman kasi part ng contract o required sila mag post sa social media kaya talagang nahihiya ako to ask about it! Di din ako confrontational na tao.. Nakakasad lang if may maghahanap or nakaabang lalu na yung brother ko who lives in the U.S kaya super abang siya. Tapos ayun nga na makikita mo na ganun na nagpopost sila. Medyo emotional talaga ako about this kaya iniiwasan ko mag message sa kanila I'm afraid ano sasabihin nila. Kakatawa lang everytime repost ko yung pics ng backup photographers nila naglilike naman sila hahaha! 

I understand the interval yun na lang isipin ko and if di talaga i-post at all ok lang ayoko na gawing issue pa. Nag share lang ako ng sentiments ko para at least mailabas ko yung nararamdaman ko. Isipin ko na lang talaga sana maganda yung output para naman pag nasamin na yung copies balewala tong mga moments na na-sad kami ni hubby. :p Thanks mga sis ha? Malaking bagay ang GT kahit tapos na wedding namin.

^^ Sis, di kaya oversight lang, minsan yan issues sa Supplier, yung pagka inquisitive natin mas helpful pa. Wag ka na mahiya magtanong, daanin mo sa joke haha!

sis kdramaholic di ka nag iisa. in our case as well, our P/V and coordinator did not post it on social media. Yung cake at invitation supplier nga namin, nagpost. haha! inisip na lang namin, choice na siguro nila what they feature on their social media page

and yung wedding photos namin, i think it took 1 1/2 month bago naisend sa amin. nag follow up yata ako (in a nice way hehe hindi naman demanding ang tone) di bale sis, try mo na lang kamustahin, right natin yun since part ng deliverables nila yun congrats din pala!
