Well, kung sa tingin nyo di nila mate-take yun culture nyo, yun tradition nyo, at trip nyo for wedding, wag nyo na lang sila invite, it only means di nyo talaga sila friend. :)

Sorry sis but I don't agree with this. Just because a friend is not into certain traditons you practice means they are not really your friends. We all have our differences, minsan kahit yung bestfriend mo complete opposite mo ang ugali, pero when it comes to having your back, rain or shine, laging nanjan.

It all boils down to respect and being honest and open to each other. Important on your part to tell them what to expect lalo na if you know they are not accustomed to it and the other party should be open too without judgements. True friends will always tell you the truth kahit di mo ma-take not for purpose of insulting you but more on, its their role as your friend to be truthful to you.

attended a friend's wedding last December na hindi naalala ang crew meals! imagine 11am na wala pang lunch? never ever gutumin ang suppliers. i think the coord is to be blamed here kasi di nya niremind kay bride yun sa mga meetings nila. yung mga hmuas din todo parinig na na gutom na sila kasi di pa sila nagbreabreakfast. to think na super aga nila sa prep venue. inis na inis sila sa coord.

^oh gosh, que horror, ako up to bottled water, coffee ng Suppliers, breakfast, lunch and snacks hanggang dinner nila lahat hands on ako. I know how these people work na ngaragan talaga, puyatan at ratrat kaya we need to spoil them man lang with food at treat them with utmost care too.

^My friend who's going to get married tomorrow almost forgot about getting food for her suppliers/entourage na pupunta sa hotel during preps. Buti na lang na-remind ko sya. She was shocked na medyo malaki rin ang cost for crew meals especially when you require the whole entourage to be present sa prep place.

Kawawa naman suppliers nung friend mo sis @katniss

May isang OOT wedding ako napuntahan na maganda and magarbo..as in with fireworks and all and all of us we're checked in one hotel under the assumption that it was taken care of. Come the next day, we were stuck with the hotel bill tas di pala kaya bayaran. It ended up na the bill was shouldered by a couple of principal sponsors and our family. Nakakahiya.

Another one, na delay yung picture taking and hindi nagawa lahat ng required shots ng photographer kasi nag aagawan and nagpatagal yung mga bridesmaids sa make up artist with impossible requests (lagyan daw ng cheekbones na wala naman, pa lakihan daw ng mata, etc etc). Isip ko eh day to ng couple...bat nagpapa diva mga to.

I know kailangan maganda ka pero yung kailangan plakado talaga?

^I attended an OOT wedding where one of the bridesmaids brought her own make up artist hanggang sa reception. I don't know if she was practicing for her own wedding but it was so tacky especially how she was also having her own mini shoot hahaha

I shared previously na yung wedding ng friend ko who almost forgot her crew meals.. But during the big day, super daming mishaps ang nangyari. :(

It was her MIL who volunteered to do everything for the preps since si FMIL ay nageevents daw. But night before the wedding, di pa nya tapos lagyan ng thank you tags lahat ng souvenirs at gagawin pa raw nya [textspeak!] bouts for the male entou.

The bride asked me and some officemates to coordinate their wedding. We met the night before and told her to come early sa church para di magahol yung mga aayusin sa church. Nauna dumating yung flowers for the entou, kaso walang label kaya di namin madistribute. Tapos si MIL dumating, 1:45PM na and di nya man lang binilin sa amin para kanino yung flowers. Wala rin syang nabili na bible for the couple.

Over-all, it was still a wedding full of love. I was very emotional during their wedding kasi alam ko struggles ni bride with her FMIL. I saw everything because I was directly involved with the wedding. But if I am a guest, di naman pansin yun. :)

Lesson here for a future bride - kung walang budget to hire a coordinator, you may ask help from people but make sure na di sya magbibigay ng sakit ng ulo sa inyo. :)

^Ako naman sis, I'm strongly against getting your friends to coordinate, unless sila mismo nag volunteer.

As a friend/relative, I would want to enjoy and take part of the celebration. I experienced this at a friend's wedding and I was so upset. Wala kase talagang coordination and bigla nalang na-thrust yung role saken. I didnt know anything about weddings back then. My friend also got me as a reception host and I was so in the dark kase walang kahit anong instructions.

^ Hi sis! It was okay for me since I saw how stressed she is with her FMIL (that time). :)

I just shared lang what I experienced with her wedding - some parents tend to meddle during wedding preps. Ibang level lang ang pakikialam ni MIL. :(
