Games during reception

Hi mga sis!  Can you share the games with your guests during reception? I want sana na everyone is interactive and  mag-enjoy.  Wala ako masyado idea.   Lalo na for the single girls and gents game.

Single guy game, --- all guys have a shot of liquor, a needle and thread. .. Game starts by every guy taking a shot of liquor then kelangan nila ilusot yung thread sa needle. Hilo and pressure at the same time... last guy to finish is TAYA

Single girls name-- name that tune but they have to sing part of the song .. use popular/high school/ generation songs ( backstreet boys, spice girls, britney spears, mariah, etc) Last one left is TAYA

Wala pa ko naiisip din na games. Yung inattendan kong kasal ng friend ko, for the Gents, may pumper at balloon. Tapos paunahan sila. Hindi nila alam, yung mauunang makakapagpump ng malaki, siya yung taya. Haha
Then for the ladies naman, ibliblindfold sila. Then may ilalagay na safety pins sa katawan nung guy na taya. Then pabilisan sila maghanap ng safety pin. Yung walang makukuha, siya naman yung taya.

Never thought of this, I have this vision of a laid back and chill party after whatever program they prepared for me. I'll check with my OTD Coordinator for suggestions.

Thought of this a while ago, since I'm a single lady and sometimes attending weddings can be embarrassing especially when those single games come on. How about a wed couples game instead? Quiz one couple from each table on things they would need to know (What does hubby like to drink when you have burgers? What does the wife do when she gets stressed at work?). It's a cool game especially for the longer wed and doesn't put the older singles on the spot.

^Yeah we wont have a singles game too as most people in my crowd find in awkward. Ito pa yung pilitan when inviting participants, which I never liked. We will only have trivia and wed couples game. My problem now is how to make our trivia game unique.

^ subscribing  wala pa din ako idea what to include on our program since limited ang space ng reception hall na kinuha namin. most of the space allotted pa sa guest tables.. hopefully we could do a game na fun without requiring the participants to go in front. tipong per table yung team up for a Q&A game.

For our wedding, we had 2 games lang para hindi masyado mahaba yung program.

1) Sticker Game:
- Call out single girls & guys then partner them (I already have a pre-selected list ready hehe)
- Each player will be given a sticker sheet (neon na circle stickers from National lang)
- When the host says go, girls will put stickers on the body parts of the guys starting with the letter T (tongue, tenga, tonsil, talukap, tuhod, etc); the guys naman will put stickers on the body parts of the girls starting with the letter P (paa, pwet, patilya, puson, etc)

2) Couples Game:
- Since we're one of the last couples to get married in our barkada, madami na din kaming married friends
- To make it interesting, I asked the host to ask questions before mag start yung game: how long have they been together/married, with/without kids, etc.
- I just googled questions for them to answer (where did you meet, where was your last out of town/country trip, etc.) then as you go along the game, ang hindi magka-match na answer will be taken out of the game; matira matibay nalang hehe

For the line pala to go to the buffet, I wrote 5 questions for the guests (what's the full name of the bride - haba kase, haha, where did the couple meet, etc) then yung first 5 tables na makaka-answer will be the first sa picture with the couple and then pila sa buffet hehe. The rest of the tables after the 5, by number na.

^ yes mga sis, me too! dami ko na rin nasalihan na ganito at nakakahiya, haha! kaya I am thinking of games na cool lang siguro for everyone to participate. not just the single ones.   pero how do I pass the bouquet kaya as part of the tradition?

What do you guys think sa game na questions about the couple tapos ang mga sagot is kung si bride ba yung ganito, si groom ba yung ganyan. Yung matitirang table, yun yung panalo.

I'm glad meron netong thread na to. 

Naiisip ko lang is Trivia, haha! Wala kong ibang maisip though alam ko naman may ideas si OTD. Pero gusto ko din kasi magbigay ng galing samin na idea. Hehe.

Sa prizes sis? Anong plan niyo ibigay? Kami Sodexo GC's pero wala kong maisip pa ibigigay for grand prize. Sabi kasi maganda daw pag meron one way daw yon para mag stay ng matagal ang guest.

^Baka you can give a free overnight stay somewhere in the metro or out of town pero from mga Ensogo para mura hehe. At least free overnight na for the guest yon

I think I'll be having a couple game as well since most of my friends naman are in a relationship and then yung single male and female ipagpapartner ko nalang. hahahaha..

Sis what's your game for the grand prize??

Me, anyone who can guess how many times we kissed during the whole reception program. It was a suggestion from a friend. And we're planning to give an ipod shuffle to the winner. Yun lang kaya ng budget. hahahah. And for the other games, M&S treats nalang prizes. heheh

^ No idea yet for the game para sa Grand prize sis, I'm thinking raffle nalang siguro towards the end of the program para mag stay sila. Haha!  Ako, Sodexo GC's for minor prizes sa mga games sis kahit tig 100.00-200.00 na GC per winner feeling ko okay na yon. Or another option is Starbucks Gift Card or H&M. Pero mas ok talaga ang Sodexo para ganahan sila sumali kasi they can use it almost anywhere.

Thanks for sharing Game ideas we will have Name That Tune and yung Table Game na sasagutan nila kung Bride/Groom. So far yun palang naiisip ko, wedding 19 days to go.
