Do these people get paid when they try on new makeups or try on a service somewhere?

I'd say it depends.. Some bloggers or vloggers nilalapitan talaga ng brands para review yung product nila for free.   For the most part, some naman buys it themselves and share sa blog or vlogs yung review nila.   So it's safe to say na mix siguro.  Some free, some bili. 


Say for example, I have a blog and a vlog, too kasi, so if someone sends me a product to review, I make sure na I buy something from their store rin para di free loader ang peg ko.

I dont want kasi yung image na pag blogger ka, mukha kang libre  Hehe

Honestly, investment mo yan for your content eh.
Well ako ganon ako mag isip.  hehe  Mahirap umasa sa libre, baka ma brand ka pa na "ay itong blogger na ito pag walang sponsor, walang content"  hehe

But of course, who doesn't love freebies.  Important lang siguro, honest pa rin yung opinion about the product  and bili bili rin ng sariling items.  hehe 


But also, may mga big time bloggers, say mga ex celebrities turned blogger/ vlogger na may talent fee.  Per post pa nga minsan ang TF kahit sa IG lang.

Michelle Dy - I used to super duper love her.  Well love ko pa rin siya pero minsan gusto ko siya damitan sa IG posts niya.. Although naisip ko rin naman, when I lost weight before, walang makapigil sakin mag 2 piece sa mga pics ko.  Pero sa beach or resort ah! hahahahaha

And napansin ko rin sa videos ni Michelle these days, not as effort na as yung noon? Or ako lang nakapansin nito.. Minsan parang mema lang. Mema post.  hehe peace sa mga angels nya.. pero love ko pa rin siya.  Sana lang same effort as before


Anna Cay - I met her at the Youtube creator day, plakado ang foundation naloka ako! Ang gandaaaaa! Yun lang, bongga lang siya talaga! Love it!

Say Tioco - I met her in person and very helpful niya sa mga newbies.  Very nice rin ng skin and candid na tao. 

AnneClutz - same, I met her rin sa YT Creator Day, napa humble grabe lang! Nakaka aliw videos niya kasi walang kyeme mag review, at kung black heads tutorial to, pak ito blackheads ko hehe

Favorite ko tho si Isha - dumaan siya also sa YT Creator day pero naka uwi na ako that time.  Sabi ng friend ko, super pretty and simple.  Me I like her kasi she is not madamot sa videos niya, share niya san nya nabili furniture nya, ano peg nila sa house, ano ganap niya during commute.. And down to earth.  Love ko siya! hehe

Out of boredom I searched Michelle Dy's IG... Ay. fucgirl lvl 234557909 si ateh! Ang cheap lang ng dating. Sorry naman. Anyway, nag-scan lang ako ng onti sa feed nya, and may naopen akong isang photo kasi yun ang nangibabaw dahil bukod tanging simple yung makeup nya don, ang fresh tignan. And omggg, nagulat ako sa nakita ko, UA hair ba yon??? Haha I'm not sure pero two posts kasi yun with the same look. Parang ganun nga!!! Pa-tingin nalang mga sis kasi baka namalik-mata lang ako hahaha. Katabi yung post nya na Harley Quinn look. Ano sa tingin nyo?

^Baka nakalimutan i-edit  Ngayon nalang din ako bumisita sa IG niya kasi hindi ko matake. Ang dami na nag rerequest ng diet/fitness routine niya pero until now wala pa siyang nilalabas.

Infairness kay Anne ah? Ang layo na ng narating niya. Kahit hindi na ako nanonood ng videos or nagbabasa sa blogs niya nakaka proud naman.

I love, love, Anna Cay. And oo nga, kahit super rich siya, she's not intimidating. Im crossing her fingers na hindi siya magbago and tuloy-tuloy pa rin mag-YT. I'm based abroad and I like that she uses mostly items that I can purchase sa Sephora. She made me buy the Marc Jacobs foundation na nagustuhan ko naman pero hindi lang bagay ngayon sa winter skin ko.

Same observation kay Michelle Dy. She was my favorite too before. Kaso #GGSS na lately. Mas worse pa yung Snapchat nya kesa sa IG. Puro selfies!

And btw, Anna Cay posted a picture of her new Macbook Pro nya sa IG c/o her sweldo from YouTube. According to her caption, meron pa daw leftover to buy pasalubong for friends and family. So sabihin na natin between $1500-2000 yung kita nya last month so lumalabas P99110.00? Laki pala no? Kaya pala hindi na nagwo-work yung husband ni Anne Clutz. Income from YouTube can support a family na. Im really happy for them. Nakikinabang din naman kasi tayong mga viewers (for for product reviews & entertainment purposes)

Sis @icebaby I actually computed din how much Anna Cay earned based on her recent IG post haha. So yeah, around 2K dollars nga ang sweldo nya from youtube, excluding pa yung sponsorships nya.

Among local youtubers, it's only Anna Cay whom I watch consistently. I like her choice of makeup. The other local youtubers are fine, they just cannot keep my interest for that long. If puro makeup tutorials kasi nakakasawa din. I also like Jessica Godinez, yung redhead na laging kasama ni Say sa IG or YT.

Among international makeup "gurus" I suuper love Stephanie Nicole. She gives really honest reviews.  YT is not her main job so even if may masagasaan syang YT guru, it doesn't matter. It helps build her credibility na she has a bio chem degree under her belt, so she knows what she's talking about. I also love Wayne Goss. I recently tried his foundation technique to use loose powder first before foundation, and surprisingly, it worked for me considering I have dry skin. Yung technique nya rin na pressing (and not just dabbing) the beauty blender against your skin was also useful.  I watch hotandflashy for skincare tips. She looks GREAT for a 53 year old woman.  I still watch Estee Lalonde not because of beauty tips, but because London is such a beautiful place.

nakita ko din yung post ni anna cay. laki pala talaga ng income ng mga youtubers. yung kay anne clutz, dalawa pa yung youtube channel nya noh? one for makeups and the other yung daily vlogs. kaya malaki din ang kita.

lately ko lang nakilala si michelle dy, around september yata? nakita ko lang dun sa vlog ni anne clutz for cetaphil. i like her humour. lalo na pag kasama mga mamshies nya and magaling talaga sya magmake up. pero hindi ko sya finafollow sa IG kase hindi ko din bet yung mga sexy posts nya na parang pang-fhm, hehe.

familiar ba kayo dun sa oeuvretrends? nakita ko kasi sa recommended channels ng youtube. hindi ko sila bet. si girl, ang gulo magreview/tutorial tsaka parang laging nagpepending yung utak nya pagdating sa mga terms. tapos si guy, panay parinig sa viewers, baka may pwede daw dyan na magbigay ng ringlight.. baka daw may lumang laptop daw dyan para dun sa pinsan yata nila na nagaalaga minsan sa anak nila. tapos gagawan pa daw nila ng YT channel yung pinsan nila na yun kase malay daw nila makatulong sa pag-aaral. e jusko napakamahiyain nung bata. tapos yung anak nila na wala pa yatang 2 years old, ginawan nila ng YT channel para daw sa unboxing ng toys. jusko napakabata pa nun! kaloka tong couple na to.

I saw oeuvretrends from Anne Clutz's channel. Nina is her name I think? She's really pretty but I hope she modulates her voice properly kasi ang sakit sa tenga ng boses nya. I don't like her makeup techniques, ang cake-y tignan.   About her husband, umm no comment na lang, hehe. Although masipag sila pareho mag-asawa so I give them that.

^true. she's pretty and masipag but that's it. hehe. di din ako bilib sa makeup skills nya, to think na dapat mas may edge sya among other beauty vloggers kase she's a makeup artist din dba? mas okay pa magmakeup si anna cay na hobby lang ang pagmemakeup.

i love raiza contawi too! magaling din magmakeup pero minsan naiirita lang din ako sa voice nya pero keri naman kase bawi naman sa makeup skills nya.

I also watch OuvreTrends from time to time kasi nga friends sila nila Anne and Isha. But same observation mga sis. Puro parinig. Nina is really pretty. Sana lang nga, medyo ayusin the way she talks kasi medyo masakit nga sa tenga. Her face is really an asset. Ang ganda nya mala-Cheska Garcia. Kaso off the way she speaks. They should focus more on making quality videos. Anne Clutz started with very basic setup din. Pero pumatok sa tao kasi maganda yung content ng videos nya. When she started making money, dun pa lang nag-upgrade ng equipment.

same here sis! recent discovery ko si Raiza. I love her na din, pati her dog! acne-prone din kasi ako kaya i like watching her videos kasi she has imperfections same as mine na gusto ko matutunan how to hide.

Grabe pare pareho pala tayong nag compute ng salary ni Anna Cay sa youtube. At nagulat talaga ako sa laki ng sahod niya.  So imagine ang salary ni Say ano? Wala naman akong masabi sa sobrang kasipagan niya at tanggap lang ng tanggap ng reviews.

Ay hindi na pala nagwowork si Daddy Kitz, sa BPO ang work niya. For sure kayang kaya na silang buhayin ni Anne. Ibang iba na nga din ang lifestyle nila, kaya dun ako nag stop mag subscribe kasi before ang habol ko mga affordable make ups. Pero ngayon halos high end na din ang reviews niya.

Nitong september lang talaga ako nahilig manuod ng vlogs. Pero before, nakafollow na ako kay MD. Nagagandahan kasi ako sa kanya lalo sa buhok nya. Kaso ang insecure ng dating nya sa ginawa nya kay Anna. Then I started to watch vlogs of Say, Isha, Anne Clutz and Anna Cay.

Pero si Anna Cay talaga ang favorite ko. RK pero di mo makikitaan ng yabang at sobrang natural. Saka nakakabilib kasi 1 year pa lang sya sa YT pero ambilis dumami ng subscribers. Naungusan nya na ang iba in a short span of time. Well she deserves it, kasi napaka humble at bait naman talaga. Yung tipong halos wala kang maipintas. Sya talaga yung gustong gusto kong mameet in person. Sobrang honest din nya magreview at ang galing pa magmake up. She has long way to go and for sure, marami pa magiging subscribers nya

*True sis. I won't be surprised kung maka 100K siya by early next year. Dami na niyang new fans. I started watching her siguro nasa 25K pa lang subbies nya. And good vibes kasi talaga siya. Kahit sando lang and short shorts ang suot, hindi mukhang bastusin. I envy her collection of shoes and bags though! Grabe lang this girl. Ang yaman pero grounded. Kaya naman ang daming may love sa kanya.

On another note, I tried to watch Say. Hindi ko natagalan. Puro, "naku girl", "bongga", "pak na pak". Limited ang vocab? Lol.

^ Sa mga comments na nabasa ko, Say seems like nice and down-to-earth in person. Pero sa vlogs, she can be abrasive. Her choice of words can be really grating so I hope she tones down yung puro gosh, pak, genern, girl, yummy, etc. 

Just to compare Anna Cay uploaded her vlog 12 hours ago and she already has 7.9K views. Si Say naman uploaded her vlog 8 hours ago pero 1.4K pa lang. Relatable kasi si Anna. She's cute pero hindi yung tipong intimidating yung beauty nya; tipong everybody wants to be like her; everybody wants to be her friend, etc. kaya no doubt na ang bilis tumaas ng subscribers.
