mas mura din sakin ang Uber madalas.
my Bro in law drives both Uber and Grab. Palagi nyang reklamo na ang baba ng fare sa Uber compared sa Grab, Incentives lang daw habol nya sa Uber. Ayaw niya pa sa Uber is malalaman lang niya destination once he accepts the booking unlike Grab nakakapili sila ng pasahero na tatanggapin.

Grab user for years na. Pansin ko nga mas mura si uber, pero buti na lang meron mga promo codes. Mas nasanay na kasi ako sa grab.

Grab has booths at NAIA terminals. Never tried Uber , though.


In general, mas mura si Uber. Pero I was used to booking Grab kasi katabi lang ng office nila yung building namin so medyo madali magbigay ng directions.

I had a bad experience with grab recently. Kumuha ako ng grab share sinabay ko yung son ko kasi papasok siya sa school. On the way naman yung school niya so i told the driver kung pwede drop muna namin sa school yung bata kasi according kay waze ng phone niya doon din ang labas namin mas mabilis pa nga yung way na yun to his school kasi wala masyado tricycle and walang intersection.

Ayaw nung driver kasi ma papagalitan daw siya dapat sundin yung waze. Sabi ko kuya dun din tayo lalabas. Wala man lang consideration. So binababa na lang namin yung son ko sa kanto ng school niya i asked him to walk na lang. alanganin din mag tricycle yung bata kasi isang kanto na lang.

I gave the driver 1 star kasi nakakainis. Kung out of the way hindi ko naman isasabay anak ko pero on the way rin kasi. His school is only 5mins. From our house ano ba naman yung kahit i-consider niya then sabihin niya na kung out of the way hindi na niya ihahatid. Maintindihan ko sana kaso from the start ayaw na agad niya hindi pa naman niya alam kung saan yung school.

Yung charge ng grab share that time ka price na nung uberx. Nauna na kasi nag confirm yung grab kaya dun na kinuha ko. So after that uber na lang talaga i really felt bad for what the driver did.

Has anyone tried Grab alternatives like Owto? How was it for you?

^i tried a few times, owto and micab yata yung isa i think. Apparently they dont have many drivers yet and owto yata in particular is currently operating lang in camanava area. That was almost a month ago na, not sure now kung okay na sila.

Why is Grab so expensive? Consistently expensive like at least 50% more than uber? Terrible pricing..

Sakin naman ever since grab was cheaper. That was, web Uber was around.

Now wala na Uber, nakakainis na mag grab. Mahal na, Tapos Super Long wait pa lagi.

How does grab share work?

I don?t see the logic of waze and the grab system. Di naman sila connected?
What the driver should have told you is May extra charge if May extra stop that?s all. Baka school time din kaya takot sya mastuck sa school traffic. Lam mo naman mga schoolzines during oras ng pasukan, sa gulo ng traffic dyan, it can take you forever to get out of the area.

2 months after I installed the Owto app, I was finally able to book, so far i had 2 rides with them. basic na basic palang yung app nila (cash basis and regular sedan lang; wala pang 6 seater, premium or pool).

For me, tiyempo tiyempo lang, I toggle between Grab and Owto, minsan masyado mahal si Grab, pero mura si Owto yun lang, konti pa cars kaya wala rin mabook minsan. Most of the time Owto is priceier than Grab kasi they charge P2/min which is currently suspended in Grab.

@Girltalker2 wala na traffic that time sa school niya 40mins. Na siyang late so maluwag na.

Grab share works pag may rider din sa area mo and almost same way kayo. Grab will notify you kung may pick up pang passenger before you. Hassle lang kung morning lalo na pag nagmamadali ka na and uunahin ibaba yung ibang passenger dahil mas malapit sila kesa sa destination mo. Na experience ko sa grab share may 2 passenger ako nakasabay. I think 3 ata ang limit nila sa grab share. Not so sure.

They are very expensive now kahit 8mins. Away lang they will charge p200 na. Since nawala ang uber hiindi pa ako naka try mag grab. Lagi kasi mahal yung fare. Yung dati na p300 pag rush hour now p500-600 na grabe.

Never had a successful booking with Hype. Merong lumalabas na available cars sa map, pero di ka naman makapagbook.

Grab ngayon -- sobrang laging hirap magbook especially pag rush hours, or umulan. At wala ka na lang magawa kasi walang competition dahil wala ng Uber. Wala ng ibang choice.

Though di naman natin mapagkakaila na mas madali pa din mag-Grab kesa mag-taxi. Better riding conditions din ang grab: cleaner car, more polite drivers. And the mere fact na pipickupin ka talaga sa saktong pickup point mo. Very convenient.

I just hope they improve their customer service, and fare matrix. Sana mas madami din drivers para hindi ganon kahirap magbook. Though I understand na yung ibang drivers decided to not continue driving anymore kasi dami ka-echosan ni LTO/LFTRB.

Soooo,, Grab na lang ba last man standing?
Ang choosy na rin ng mga drivers. Inabutan na ko ng surge bago pa may nag accept kahit sa map kita naman na may mga drivers in the area.

One of the perks I enjoyed recently is yung discount sa hotel booking sa Booking . com thru the app.
P500 + din yung nabawas.

Meron din OWTO.  Di pa masyadong kilala pero alternative na din ito to Grab.  I downloaded the Owto software thru IOS, naka meron din sa android.

Resolved. Sa airport, may kiosk ang Grab. If you do not have a local phone or their app, you can simply request for them to find a Grab ride for you.

You can also request for yourself if you have the app. The driver will respond letting you know location where to pick you up.

^I would think the same. Merong booking fee pero not sure if kasama na sa fare. Di naman kase kami siningil ng separate eh. Mukhang minimal naman.
